• Dale (8/5): Wonderful stay - The grounds are incredible, with passion vines and flora everywhere! It was magical! Rooms were comfy and clean, staff treated us like family. Dog friendly with a dog blanket, bowl and snacks! Highly recommend this beautiful place! That there was sort of front desk type number so we could have called for security as we were unfortunately next door to a drunk arguing couple for hours. Lots of screams, tears and thumps. His name was Scott as she screamed it several times. I’d blacklist them! Kinda ruined our romantic time!

• Little (9/5): a new treasure stay away - the staff were really friendly and kind it had a homey feel! Great size rooms and beds were will be staying definitely again out favorite spot now to stay! there is no pool or hot tub but not a deal breaker!

We loved being on the second floor with the porch and spent time resting and relaxing there between hikes and other activities. The space was peaceful, the bed comfortable and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Quaint, classy, relaxing and a great experience. Exceeded expectations! Would not change anything.

• Jennie (10/5): - Very cute Inn with excellent customer service. The staff was welcoming and everything you could possibly need is located in a shared kitchen area. The location of this Inn is very close to shops, restaurants, and beaches. We will definitely be coming back to stay at the Bodega Bay Inn.
• Karen (10/5): It's a place I would go to again. - There were chocolates on the pillows, an origami bird with a fortune tucked inside, a small fridge in the room and windows you could open. Downstairs there's a full-size refrigerator freezer with glasses frosting in the freezer, water in the fridge, coffee and coco with every type of cup or glass you might need on the counter or in the cupboards. They offer wine tasting. Oh, and if you are there to go fishing, you can put your catch in the fridge or freezer. The property has beautiful gardens everywhere. My husband thought the shower water wasn't hot enough. And we would have preferred not having a room upstairs, but we didn't mention it when we booked so that's our fault. It's a place I would go to again.

• JoAnne (5/5): - Great location and quiet. Very nice, helpful staff. Nice to be able to sit and relax in the kitchen and lounge. Kitchen was well stocked. There was a distinct foul odor the three days we were there. The bed was too soft and too big for the space. No place to sit and put shoes on except for the bench in the bathroom. No towel racks in the bathroom for wet towels.

• McClelland (7/5): Two nights in Bodega Bay - The hotel is really well located; I appreciated that entry to the hotel was not right off the highway. Our room was also clean, the bed was comfortable, and the heating worked well. Although we had a terrace, we didn't have the opportunity to use it as it was quite cold during our stay. The property also has a lovely, well stocked communal area where you could get warm drinks, including coffee, glassware and plates. We also appreciated the designated parking for guests in the back of the property. Pete gave us a very warm welcome to when we arrived at the property and communication prior to our arrival was really informative, telling us where to park, etc. There was a specific note in the room asking guests to tip the housekeeping staff, but our room was not cleaned during our stay. Our room, room 6, was right by the communal area. Although there were signs asking other guests to be quiet during specific hours, this wasn't the case and we were woken up each morning (6am the first morning) by guests in the communal area even when wearing earplugs. I suspect room 5 would also be an unfortunate room to be assigned as it was right by the check-in area. If you're able to sleep through noise and/or an early riser, the location of room 6 may not be a problem for you. It was for us and in addition to a couple of other problems we had, is the reason for my rating.

Close to a nice restaurant and coffee house. We like it. The only suggestion is to provide bottled water in the room. We did not bring bottled water and the tap water tasted awful.
• Stevan (2/5): Rather disappointed - Check in and facility orientation were quite good. Considering the price, the room was exceptionally small. Room amenities were marginal (e.g. no in-0room coffee service / no refrigerator / no micro , et al.) Minimal heat from the room heater was not able to adequately heat the bathroom. Hot water was intermittent and took exceptional time to reach acceptable temperature. Bathroom drain was largely inoperative.

• PTJim (6/5): Okay, but I expected better. - The pros are: room was clean and the bed was comfortable; the TV worked fine. The kitchen had a refrig, a Keurig coffee machine, and comfortable seats. The room had no closet or drawers for clothes. There was no table or desk, just two chairs. The room was next to the kitchen and was noisy in the morning and evening, The room looked out over the parking lot of the adjacent businesses and their lights were on all night and shined into the room.

• Tyler (10/5): Great stay in a beautiful little beach town! - Very comfortable and great staff The hot water in the shower was impacted by laundry and other guest usage so we didn't have hot water, but the staff was soooo nice and they communicated that it was a laundy issue and gifted us a bottle of pinot. She was so sweet and apologized and said she was going to look into to make sure it never happens again. Very happy!
• Vanlandingham (10/5): A hidden treasure, you don’t want to miss. - I was surprised when arriving. They had a birthday card and gift basket of goodie’s and breakfast. It was so tucked away and private. We had an overly large balcony to ourselves. You don’t have to lock your door it was old town safe. Like an upscale bed and breakfast with beautiful views.

• Susie (10/5): Nice little gem of a place - What a great little dog friendly place! Pete, host, was so awesome and so helpful. I let them know ahead of time that I was bringing my dog and they had dog blanket, bowl and treat waiting in the room, we even had our own little private patio. I love that they also have a kitchen and dining area. There's also Roadhouse Coffee a short walk from your room. I do wish highway 1 was walk friendly to get to restaurants. Overall, a great place to stay.

Very convenient for a good restaurant. Short drive to town. A bit expensive but everything is in California.

• Janet (10/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen with a full size fridge, microwave and coffee/hot chocolate/tea. Also a vending machine with oatmeal, cup of noodles and a variety of snacks. There was no fitness center or jacuzzi but we enjoyed hiking in the area to the beaches and tide pools. There were many nice restaurants to choose from with delicious seafood. A free bottle of wine was included in our stay. We enjoyed our time there!
