Stephen (9/5): Very good place to stay in Austin - This is a top notch Hyatt House. It’s a busy breakfast place and they handled everything very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a 1 One-Bedroom Specialty King Suite with Kitchen which worked perfectly for a six night stay. Breakfast was very good and the room was light and airy and constantly kept clean and free from debris. Location was very good too particularly for access to the University of Texas, Bullock museum and art galleries. Nothing I didn't like but the range of breakfast goods could have been broader and have more daily variation. The bar menu in the evening could have been a little more adventurous too.

Helen (6/5): Nice hotel generally but not the best location for a solo traveller there as a tourist. - The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms clean and breakfast was nice. The location is a little tricky as a solo traveller due to the amount of homeless around the hotel. Each day means walking past some not so pleasant people (approached me, swore, screamed). Although not bad if you are headed to the Capitol Building. Walking sixth street alone wasn't fun at all. Also, the aircon unit in the room was very old, loud too.

Excursion60363675295 (10/5): Great stay to explore downtown - Great location, the rooms are very spacious, and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again! Walkable to so many restrictions, bars, and other venues.
Alexis (7/5): Parking pricey, located close to 6th Street - Close to 6th Street, light breakfast included. Room was large and comfortable with kitchen facilities. Valet parking is the only option for parking, its quite expensive at $46 / night. Booked a stay for 6 people, but had to make up the sofa bed on arrival, would have been nice if 6 beds were ready at check in, especially when we arrived after midnight due to a delayed flight.

Americans tend not to serve breakfast anymore but that was fortunately not the case here. Excelent job for the guys in the kichen and breakfast. They seem to put all their energy in it! An extra point to the beautiful lady that kept an eye on customers during breakfast! Very clean Hotel also - congrats to the cleaning ladies, with large (realy large) rooms for an outstanding price! So friendly staff there, and the guys in the reception, OMG they were great! Felt like home! - Well, as other guests also say, the live stage "Mohawk - Austin" is very close to the hotel and it get's very noisy from time to time. But it's the world's live music capital, get your earplugs! Ok, that needs some improvement for sure! - A small bottle of water could be provided guys, a small treat from the venue, it's always appreciated!

Q4769ZItinak (2/5): Don't park your car with their valet! - The hotel itself was very nice and wonderful staff with a great location. The parking situation however, was terrible. It is valet parking, and while there, my brand new car was dented. I contacted them, and the valet vendor has denied it. Now, in addition to paying for the nightly valet cost, I am having to pay to repair my car. Will never visit this location again, unless they changed valet vendors.

Road525526 (10/5): Good choice - Went for the MotoGP race at COTA. Hotel <-> COTA is easy via Uber and 6th ST is next door. Hotel is comfortable with good (for a hotel) breakfast. We were positively surprised given the room price.

We called several times the reception, they send someone that couldn’t fix it. We had to stay in the room for the night. Impossible to work in the room the next day as it was really freezing. We had 2 nights there so on the morning, we ask to change room (that should have been done the first night directly) They tried to give up a way smaller room (studio instead of a one bedroom appartment that we paid for) and then change us to another room but we had to leave the first room to get the second one and moving all our stuff down to reception to bring them back up. Overall, their situation hasn’t been handled correctly and we are very dissatisfied with the people working in this hotel.

gregdY2318HY (10/5): Great value and nice rooms - Very good value. Great rooms, very clean. Decent bar off the lobby. Staff is very nice. Breakfasts were adequate (although coffee was weak). Immediate location is a little less than desirable with a few vagrants, but did not feel unsafe. Otherwise, it's just a couple blocks from the fun on 6th St. and 10 - 15 minute pleasant walk to fine restaurants and entertainment.

Dreamer37258185567 (10/5): Hyatt House Rocks Downtown Austin - A great choice all around. Clean, contemporary, convenient to downtown and considerate staff. Nice breakfast buffet in the lobby. Close to Austin's music scene off of Red River, with noise machines and ear plugs available if needed. Exercise room is big enough for a good workout.

Always_Aventuring_19 (10/5): Great Staff, Nice Hotel, Would Recommend - I stayed here for about a week and I really enjoyed my stay. It is kind of loud at night due to the hotel's proximity to music venues and bars, but that is the exact reason I chose this hotel, so for me it was perfect. The breakfast was... mediocre. But it's that way at most hotels so I wasn't expecting it to be very good. Staff on the other hand was great! Really enjoyed them! The night guy Hanz checked me in late at night the day I arrived and then when I would see him throughout my stay he always chatted with me and really made me feel so welcome. I needed a few things from housekeeping as well and they were a little slow, but my interaction with them was great also. Amazing staff overall! For this price, this hotel was as expected. I will probably plan to stay here again next time I'm in Austin!
87hopet (10/5): Great SXSW option - Location: Since SXSW was so spread out, the Hyatt house was perfectly located and a good price. Two of the shuttle stops were close to the hotel. Noise: The only issue was the noise from a bar coming through the AC. It would probably not happen if it was not SXSW.

Angeline (9/5): It was a great stay in a good location close to the airport. - The staff was exceptionally friendly on check in. They recommended restaurants in the area when I was there. I also appreciated the early check in. Very clean and comfortable. The bar food was good too Not applicable.

Thales (7/5): It was ok. - The location, the gym and the staff The room. The bathroom is next to the bedroom and it didn’t close properly. So, it is possible to smell and hear what goes in the bathroom. For this price, you should have privacy.

Julie (10/5): - The king suite was spacious with a nice layout. The kitchenette was well stocked. I found the bed to be very comfortable. The staff was gracious , helpful and accommodating. The hotel served a continental breakfast with nice food options and was good . We were within walking distance of the famed 6th St. The only in house restaurant was a small bar area. The bar served a variety of drinks and had a small menu for food choices. I didn't eat there. I did have a cocktail, bartender was great.

Alexis (10/5): Effortlessly enjoyable - Wonderful location, staff was very accommodating, understanding, and helpful. Will stay again next time we’re in Austin. Parking was a bit expensive, but the value is definitely there. Can’t complain about a safe spot overnight and Valet services.
