We had a fantastic time out & about in Helston . What a lovely place. Will definitely go again. We had a lovely breakfast cooked fresh every day to order - you won't find a nicer (or better) breakfast anywhere. Roy was kind enough to answer any questions we had regarding the area and also gave us some really useful information regarding parking/food etc. This certainly helped us enjoy our days away to maximum output. Lovely place to stay. Room was lovely and clean, nice and warm with everything that was needed. Would certainly stay there again. Close to all areas we wanted to visit. Nothing really only the fact we went too late in the year. Our fault 🫣

From the moment I arrived, he went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Every morning, I was treated to the most delicious homemade breakfast, such a treat to start the day! Roy would even print out the daily weather report for me and share his expert advice on the best places to visit and the most scenic routes to take. Thanks to his tips, I got to experience Cornwall in a way I never could have on my own.

• ERIC (10/5): Beautiful Scenery and Superb Hosts - Located close to the beautiful Southern coastline, this superb small hotel is a perfect central location for a trip. Many scenic paths are at a walkable distance (5 km to 10 km of moderate difficulty will allow you to see many beautiful sights.) Roy and Jayne are the consummate hosts. They help coordinate your arrival in advance, since the location is a bit remote. They cook an excellent breakfast, and take a keen interest in your plans for your stay. They offer sound advice (invaluable if you haven’t researched carefully), and Roy provides a packet of information with hints, hiking or driving itineraries, and a weather report, all presented each morning based on your previous day’s discussions and experiences. They really do provide you with more than adequate assistance to ensure that your visit is rewarding. I would definitely stay with them again, and recommend them wholeheartedly to other travelers.
• Jack (10/5): A stunning short stay in one of the most beautiful places in the UK. - Really loved the location. So quiet and peaceful. Really close to Lizard Point, Kynance Cove and Cadgwith. Roy’s excellent knowledge of the area was excellent he was super helpful and really wanted to make sure we maximised our stay. Jayne’s breakfast was really delicious. This was a great choice. Sillily I didn’t take any photos but they are just like the other traveller’s photos! -

• Peter (10/5): The welcome pack gave all the information on the area and amenities, nothing was left out. - Good food the breakfast was great and plenty of choice, fruit yogurt English and even Vegan. All from local produce, everything one would need to start the day. Nice quiet location, although on the corner there was hardly any traffic and what was I didn't hear it due to the quality of the double glassing. there was nothing I didn't like.

The breakfast was tasty, and their local tips on what to see and where to go were spot-on. Highly recommended. Although the location may seem a bit remote at first glance, it's actually well-connected, with amenities close by.

• Sarah (10/5): Very helpful host - An excellent base from which to explore The Lizard, the host provided detailed and extensive information on how far beaches/places of interest were,both on foot or by car, as well as tide times and weather which is important since several of the beaches on the peninsula are highly tide dependent. Made it much easier to plan our day. While Kynance Cove gets a lot of attention there are many other less well known beaches that are equally stunning. Cooked breakfast was hearty and delicious. Chyheira is not in the village so it's quiet with just the sound of bird song. And it has a car park, which was nice. Really enjoyed our stay!

• Lara (10/5): Absolutely perfect stay, cannot wait to go back. - This place was one of the best accommodations me and my husband have stayed. The location is perfect if you are either driving or walking to main beaches and attractions around the peninsula. Roy and Jayne were the kindest of people, giving us all information we needed as tourists and telling us many interesting facts about Cornwall and the Lizard area. They were so thoughtful and their breakfast was delicious and fresh every day, made with local ingredients. We ended up extending our visit for one more night as Chyheira was too good to leave! Highly recommended stay. Absolutely nothing to complain about, our stay was just perfect.

The BnB was nicely set out, with good sized clean & well appointed comfy rooms, a comfy bed, with lovely soft fresh linen. Great views from my room. Breakfast was deliciously made from fresh & local ingredients. I wish that I had stayed here for 2 nights, as my Hosts were wonderful & caring, along with the village & surrounding areas of Lizard have so much more to offer. Roy has a fantastic wealth of information on what & where to go & his directions & maps are second to none! My stay was very enjoyable. Good parking too.

I can fully recommend to visitors from near and far, when we visit the Lizard again we will definitely stay with Roy & Jayne.

Everything from welcoming to serving breakfast was so special, individual. We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Roy and Jayne’ s place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roy is like an enciclopedie of the local history, interesting places and best tips for exploring local areas. The most delicious breakfast, spotless and cosy room, best service you could wish for from B&B- we could not be more grateful and happy with this. We would definitely come back. There is nothing what we didn’t like.

My dog and I feel instantly welcomed and looked after when I met the hosts, Jayne and Roy, who always take extra care with my needs, providing extra duvet, weather & tide forecast, sightseeing and restaurants suggestions, flexible breakfast arrangement. Chyheira feels like a home away from home! Will go back when I am in the area! Nothing :]
• Michael (10/5): What other B&B's should strive to be! - I've worked in the travel industry for almost a decade (have spent thousands of nights in hotels, etc.), and to say Chyheira is something special is an understatement. Roy and Jane are beyond fantastic hosts with phenomenal knowledge of the area which is presented in an individualized and consumable manner. There's no better way to start your day than their home made breakfast featuring locally sourced ingredients. Chyheira itself is a lovely B&B with comfortable rooms and a quiet relaxation anyone from the city will be jealous of when they head home. The calming country air certainly leads to a great nights sleep. Thank you for the excellent stay!

Very helpful owners, who were so friendly and offered information not just on the area , and where to get a meal at short notice. Even a weather forecast. Couldn't have done more for us . Would certainly return. !! Service 10 out of 10 for us !!!
• Subham (9/5): Superb - Family owned B&B in a historical village house near Lizard village. Free parking space. Nearby attraction - lizard point, kynance  cove, cadgwith cove, mullion cove and church cove.  Our host were friendly and helpful, Roy explained all details so that we can visit these points either by car or by foot. You also get daily weather report. For lunch or dinner, you can either go to nearby inn or get it delivered.  Breakfast was lovely and fresh fruits with yoghurt added a nice touch. 
• Robert (10/5): Relaxing and peaceful. - I would find it impossible to find anything wrong with any part of our stay from the warm reception on our arrival, the daily advice, tips and information passed to us at breakfast but what was especially pleasing was the personal touches without any intrusion. Anyone who would like a quite and relaxing stay should book to stay at this venue. Even the weather was good, so there is nothing not to like.

• Ilya (10/5): Perfect stay in a perfect place - There are no doubt many ways in which a property can achieve high ratings on this site but in case of Chyheira it is this truly amazing hospitality of the owners and the way they run the property that does the trick. Every single point on their score is absolutely justified, I'd give them a hundred if I could! Roy will provide you with any possible bit of information you might need while Jayne will serve you an amazing breakfast, just the way you like it. We especially enjoyed our double room and how tastefully it was decorated. It's all the little details and attention of the hosts that really makes it the best B&B experience that we ever had. Nothing really. The internet connection will drop and you'll need to reconnect every now and then but that's a very minor thing.

Roy and Jayne will do everything to make a stay as pleasant as possible, providing daily information on the weather, making suggestions and giving inside information and tips regarding visiting locations in this part of England, restaurants, etc. Roy is a walking Wikipedia! He knows everything and is willing to share this knowledge! It made our stay extra pleasant! Dogs are very welcome at this B&B. Roy suggests which dog-friendly beaches to visit so he could have a swim in the sea. Our dog really liked the stay at Lizard Point. Each morning a great breakfast, freshly made according to guest wishes. Absolutely nothing! It was a perfect stay!

A full package was given upon arrival with all the information about the area including spots to see and places to eat. The breakfast was excellent every morning. I cannot recommend them enough!! • Hepro1 (10/5): Lovely room with excellent breakfast with very friendly hosts - The B&B is located not far from the small fishing village of Cadgwith in a very quiet location. We spent 4 nights here in a very nice double room. The breakfast was excellent and all wishes were fulfilled. The hosts Jayne and Roy were very friendly and helpful. In the morning we were also informed with tips for the surrounding area as well as info on weather and tides. If we ever come to the Lizard Peninsula again we will stay here again. For dinner we recommend the Cadgwith Inn, a quaint pub with very good food. Nothing

Lots of information including photos of the local beauty spots. The rooms were airy, well decorated and out looking. The parking / access was a little tight but that is really a very small point.
• Andrea1616 (10/5): A fantastic short break, enabling us to visit friends who also lived in Ruan Minor. - The breakfast exceeded our expectations; the hosts offered to cook us whatever we wished. It was well prepared in friendly surroundings. The hosts were exceptional and we would highly recommend staying here. Nothing.
