• sinead (10/5): - Our stay at Armada house was exceptional. We arrived with my dog and she was welcomed snd catered for every step of the way. The personal touches made all the difference and the excellent attention to detail and focus making the guest feel special was truly exceptional. I have booked to stay again, as have a couple of my friends based on my glowing review! Would highly recommend, especially if you are bringing your fur baby and prefer a quieter more chilled vibe. Nothing.

The level of renovation and attention to detail makes this a very comfortable and luxurious place to stay. The check-in can be a little slow waiting for a staff member but that's my only quibble.

Excellent breakfast. Great attention to detail, we loved the welcome drink and nightcap. Really nice toiletries. A very comfortable and quiet stay by the ocean. We also had an excellent dinner in the Armada Hotel across the road. We will definitely be back! Thank you for being wonderful hosts! It’s difficult to find a fault to be honest but if I had to pick something, the tv in the room was in a little living room separate to the bed so you can’t watch tv in bed in that particular room that we stayed in. And the tv wasn’t a Smart tv so we couldn’t watch Netflix/YouTube etc. But it wouldn’t stop us from staying again!

The house is a great place to relax and unwind. The Armada hotel is just across the road and you have a beach moments away along with many walks. Absolutely nothing

The staff was so kind and the hotel was decorated so beautifully including the rooms. Such incredible views and lots of areas to walk to enjoy the nature views. We pre-booked taxis to Doolin for a ferry to the Aran Islands and to the Cliffs of Moher during our stay. Would absolutely love to return!

We loved the more intimate feel of being in the house, while still enjoying the amenities of the larger Armada Hotel. The service was excellent, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and care. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the restaurants and pub at the Armada were equally delightful. A perfect blend of intimacy, charm, and hospitality!

The Armada house is located directly across the street from the Armada hotel, so it offers peace and quiet and comfort in the Armada house while also having the services of a larger full service and louder hotel across the street. The staff here is really terrific, and there are numerous small touches which make this stay comfortable and nice. Highly recommend for travelers who want quiet and comfort

There are 3 sitting rooms if you wish to leave your room to read or make a phone call etc The bedroom was warm and I opened the beautiful sash window. The subsequent breeze caused the door to rattle. I needed to jam it with some paper. Not a dislike really.

• Laura (10/5): A beautiful smaller hotel with a magnificent breakfast, friendly staff, and kind care. - The Armada House was extremely comfortable. Each room was special and had a unique character. The breakfast was magnificent - the food fresh and delicious, the service wonderful. We loved it. We even received a loaf of bread to take with us. The building itself is lovely and right across from the bigger Armada Hotel - which was an easy walk right across the street. The Armada Hotel offered 2 restaurants and a wonderful pub. The food was excellent. We felt as if we had the best of all worlds - we stayed at the smaller, boutique Armada House, but still had access to fine dining, pub, music, and a place to sit oceanfront right across the street. The staff at both were kind and gracious, and they were always trying to make our stay extra special. I will definitely return to the Armada House. There was nothing that I didn't like about the place. One room (of the 6 we booked) had an issue with the lock, but the staff sorted that as quickly as they could.

The bed was very comfortable with lovely linens and the bathroom was modern and perfect. It was spotlessly clean, extremely helpful staff and reception and the best breakfast in Ireland! I would absolutely recommend staying several nights if possible at this property.

The log fires and lounge area was our favourite There was a smelly drain situation, which was resolved once we advised the receptionist. The TV did not work in the room, they use international remotes and even after being replaced the maintenance man couldn’t get it working which was a shame as we like to relax and watch tv in bed. I overheard the receptionist offering a discounted price for another room that had plumbing issues. We were not offered anything, but I also didn’t bring it up on checkout.
