I had completed the on-line check in because it was supposed to make arriving smoother and hassel free. I originally gave this hotel a low rating following some disappointments over the first 3 days. While having breakfast in the Novotel (neighbouring hotel) a manager approached us to talk about my review. She has since made every reasonable effort to make things right and we are very satisfied. It's not about making mistakes in business; we all do. What is important is what one does to fix them once identified. Good on you Ibis Styles, and thank you. Read less
mike_traveller20xx (4/5): not stylish at all - just 15-20 minutes walk to the heritage site of Phuket City, this hotel doesn't look stylish at all (compared to other ibis Styles we visited in the past), the room was very basic/simple, we missed international tv stations, a food market (inclusive halal stores) and a Mc Donalds are just around the corner, the big breakfast buffet was nice and the only thing we liked at this hotel, for a one night stay sufficient
753otraveller (8/5): Good couple of Nights - Had a couple of nights here snd cant failt hotel. Friendly staff, standard ibis room, very basic amenities. Breakfast was good plenty of choice. Personally wasnt too keen on the location was around 15 min walk to old town. Its connected to the novotel which looks really nice.
M1ntspace (8/5): Proud to be an Accor's Member - First and first, thank you for recognizing me as an Accor Member; it was a delight to receive extra benefits such as a welcome drink and a late check-out at 5 p.m. That would be excellent. However, I only have a point for a smell in the room that appears to be the death of anything (rat, etc.). The bed cover is a bit dirty. Please address this point and the overview will be a hit. Accor's Standard the staff were friendly, especially during the afternoon shift. 😊

Eugene (10/5): A+ to Ibis of Phuket Town - I’ve stayed many times at different Ibis hotels. Always happy with all your services, but I do have a surprise. I did see at breakfast buffet they had Gluten Free Cupcakes. I explained I have the alllergy. 5 minutes later, the young lady brought me 3 slices of Gluten Free Bread. I was so happy and surprised. They even brought it to me toasted. They really made me feel special. Thank her, and thank you for your excellent service.
Namasteandgreetings (10/5): Nice - I enjoyed tremendously my 5-night stay in this well-located hotel in Phuket City. My room on the 4th floor was spacious and i could open the window for fresh air. There was daily housekeeping which i liked. Friendly staff members with big and warm smiles including Com, Bell and many others. The buffet breakfast was really excellent. The ambiance in the whole hotel was pleasant and relaxed. Nice. Kopkumkap. Hope to return here for another 5-night stay this Christmas.

ordinatrytor (10/5): Loved My Stay at Ibis Styles Phuket City! - From the start, my stay at Ibis Styles Phuket City felt special. Khun Por, the Duty Manager, was so thoughtful and sent me some info before I even got there about what I could get as a member and some deals. That was really nice! When I arrived, Khun Phin gave me such a warm welcome. Getting to check in early and leave a bit later was a big help and made things easy. The hotel's location is just great. I could easily walk to the cool Old Town, and there were shops, yummy places to eat, and a local market all around. Super handy! My room was clean and had everything I needed to feel at home. All in all, I had a really comfy stay and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Phuket!
tanakaweet (10/5): Convenient Location for Exploring Phuket Old Town - I stayed at ibis Styles Phuket City for one night in May 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, just a short walk from the Old Town and the Sunday Walking Street Market. It's a great spot if you're interested in exploring local food, culture, and architecture. My room was upgraded upon check-in to a Family Suite, which was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly and accommodated my request for a late check-out, which I really appreciated. Breakfast was available at the on-site restaurant with a decent selection of both local and international dishes. I also received a small welcome treat in the room, which added a nice touch to the experience. Guests can use the gym and swimming pool facilities at a nearby sister hotel. While the facilities are compact, they were more than adequate for a short stay. During my visit, I enjoyed exploring nearby restaurants such as: Raya Restaurant – offering traditional local dishes in a heritage-style building Tu Kab Khao – known for authentic flavors and stylish decor Pa Mai – a casual spot for local noodles with delicious fried chicken Overall, the location made it easy to enjoy the Old Town’s street art, shophouses, and vibrant food scene on foot. This hotel is a good option for travelers who want to stay in the heart of Phuket Town.
TUMBO10 (8/5): Positive experience - A comfortable stay at the Ibis. While the room is not massive it was clean and had good air conditioning. Location wise you're a grab ride away from pretty much all attractions You're a short walk from a 7/11 and Costco type shop. The shower was okay and the bed was comfortable. There's some poor tradework around the building - tiles not level with eachother but nothing that will ruin your holiday. The best thing is using the pool and gym of the hotel next door as it is a partnership hotel. Would recommend this hotel and although we'd try a different area in Phuket if we went back, we were both happy with the stay.
MattHiro (8/5): Good hotel in Phuket Town - Though I did not have much time to walk around the hotel, the location seemed convenient. Same ibis Styles quality like other locations with good cleanliness. One minor issue was the broken electric kettle which caused a bit of flooding on the floor, which I had to wipe off with the towels.
An_Ba_Rao (8/5): Good hotel in Phuket city - Stayed in Ibis Style Phuket City for 3 nights during my trip to Phuket. Location: The hotel is about 7 minutes walk to the Charted Walking Street which hosts the Sunday street market (must do activity in Phuket). There is a 7-11 around the corner. It is ideal location if you want to do full day excursions outside of Phuket. Room: Room is big with comfortable bed, enough space to open the suite case on the floor. Drinking water is supplied on demand. Toilet and bath areas are comparatively small. Restaurant: there is a restaurant on premises but we did not get a chance to eat there.
Khoa (10/5): Very good hotel with reasonable cost - This hotel is located right at the Thai traditional market. it 's convenient to buy food or have cheap dinner. The small problem is if you have tour in the morning, the car / van must pick up you in Novotel next to Ibis hotel (connecting through car parking lot), because the road is restricted for car / van from 4:00 am - 10:30 am everyday. Rooms are clean, wide. Restaurant is decorated with cute style, I am like it very much. Staffs are so friendly. If you need to swim, you need to register to be Ibis member (free), and you can use swimming pool in Novotel next to Ibis hotel (completely free) There is a small problem in room that is lacking hanging bar. The room is large, but only small hanging bar to hang cloth, towel near room door, and there is no wardrobe

Es una excelente elección considerando calidad y precio.

Pas de piscine. Le pdj buffet est bien mais les plats ne sont pas très bons. Ils sont faits pour la clientèle indienne. Il y a 2 machines à café (mauvais), non adaptées pour l'hôtellerie. Elles tombent sans cesse en panne. Un Ibis Styles de qualité et confort bien en-dessous des standards. Je ne le conseille pas

tanakaweet (10/5): Located in the heart of Phuket - Located in the heart of Phuket, Ibis Styles offers an affordable stay with close proximity to the Old Town and a variety of dining options. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll around the city. If you’re staying on a Sunday, you can leave your car at the hotel and walk about 800 meters to the Sunday Walking Street Market. The prices are reasonable, and I booked a Standard Room for one night at THB 9XX, which was upgraded to a Family Suite (Room 4415) as a Platinum member. I also received all the Platinum benefits, including a late check-out at 5:00 PM and a welcome drink for two, which can be accessed via the hotel’s app. Additionally, all benefits can be used at the Novotel on the 17th floor or the hotel lobby. Breakfast is free for Platinum members (even though I booked without breakfast included) and is served from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Ibis restaurant. The breakfast options are varied and offer good value, with pork sausages and other choices available. There's also a welcome set consisting of macarons and chocolate balls. The fitness center and swimming pool are located on the 3rd floor of the Novotel next door. Though the space is small, it’s well-equipped for a workout. During my stay, I visited the Thai Hua Museum, which has an entrance fee of 50 Baht for two people. I asked the staff to give me a tour, and they happily obliged, providing a 1.5-hour guided tour about the history of Phuket, exploring different eras, and the various rooms in the museum. It was incredibly enjoyable and insightful. I also recommend trying the delicious noodles at "Pa Mai" (a local noodle shop), especially the large pieces of fried chicken. Overall, Ibis Styles Phuket City is a great option for those who enjoy taking photos, exploring old towns, and trying local food. It’s definitely a great choice for members looking for an affordable, comfortable, and fun stay. 🙂
Pentti (8/5): Good location - Good value for the money. Rooms are maybe little bit small but enough for us. Wifi worked well. Refrigerator was not cold enough for my beverage even it was working full blast. Breakfast was good and little bit different each day. Breakfast is until 10:00 am.

Catizakr (10/5): Lovely experience - Nice, clean, cosy room with all you need and friendly staff. Great cocktails served in a sister property (Novotel). Many promotions available for food and beverage. Jo Joe in the rooftop bar was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Muhd (8/5): - This hotwl is located at the very good area, nearby shopping malls & market, fastfood restaurants, convenience stores and most important for Muslim travellers is halal food eateries 🙂 this hotel is also within walking distance to others interesting places such as museums and night markets. Pls take note that this is economy hotel and you cannot expect more than luxurious services you could enjoy from other higher end hotels. This hotel has also no porters / concierge to help you to carry your luggages. It has very wide parking space for those driving. Overall it is still very good choice of hotel in Phuket City.
Chaiyarin (10/5): - Very nice location. A lot of places to eat nearby. The room is clean and comfy. Reasonable price. Only 1 bad thing is if you have your own car, there's a fresh market in the morning and it's difficult to go in / out due to it's crowded but if walking l, all good. Recommended.

Brittany (10/5): Just what you need in Patong - We stayed here for one night to enjoy the night life nearby. Hotel was lovely, clean and modern. Room was a perfect size for two and also comfortable. Even though the nightlife is not far away we did not find that the noise affected us in the room. Bar and pool area was very nice and the barman very helpful. Overall service was great and the staff were helpful in arranging a taxi for us the following morning. There’s an adjoining restaurant which seemed nice. The only thing I would suggest would be the menu to have a couple more vegetarian options. However I’m sure they would happily make you something if asked. Would stay again.

Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel is located in the town itself with a small mall right opposite and some souvenir and massage shops nearby. There is a 24 hour convenience store right in front of the hotel for your late night cravings. Taxi and Tuk Tuk are easy to get from this area. Hotel provides shuttle to airport with a nominal fee. Room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. However do not expect any views as its in the middle of the city. The standard room that I booked is good enough to sleep and get refreshed for your trip, nothing more than that. The size of the room is small, so you will be just keeping yourself busy outside. Service by the staff was excellent. The price however in my opinion may be a tad bit expensive for what you get, but no complaints as it is a safe and established hotel.

LEE (6/5): - location so so. 10 minutes plus walk to Phuket airport bus station more than 10 minutes walk to Phuket Central Market Songthaew bus terminal. Hotel - no swimming pool, no gym. Breakfast above average. For the price of about SG 90 I can stay elsewhere with better location and facilties no gym.

They didn’t care if the guess misses the taxi which were booked through the hotel. If the hotel cannot manage the taxi reservation service for the guest, it shouldn’t provide the taxi reservation service! Very disapointed!!!
Po Yee (8/5): Highly recommended - Geat location at Phuket old town, walking distance to all amenities, shopping malls, street food, local wet market and bus terminal to airport. Hotel and room are clean, staff friendly and helpful in addressing our queries. Only issue we had was the breakfast coffee, very diluted. Other than that, We are very happy with our stay, thank you.

Breakfast is a short walk next door (this could be as it was low season), but that was lovely. Great location in relation to the wharf for ferries to Phi Phi and Koh Lanta etc, just a short taxi ride away.

Shahram (2/5): Don't know why would anybody go to Thailand - Why anybody would travel to Thailand, they are vulgar, loathsome, irksome people, so bad that in Phuket Thailand, a rich tropical vegetation terrain, don't see any birds, the same as their lack of ability to speak in English, maybe, 99% wont know more than 10 words in English, they don't respect anybody, but ready to rip of your pocket, it is so bad, that if you go there, you might regret travelling anymore, take my experience, don't go to Thailand, instead go to Europe or USA.
