• Verified traveler (6/5): - No reception. Have to go far to check in. No cleaning or change of linen or towels during stay (4 nights). Great location though
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The check in is quite a process. You have to go to their office which is really far from your apt., and you have to wait for shuttle bus and take you to the apt. By the time you can get in to your place will be at least 1.5 -2 hours later.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - They did not inform us correctly and we were in the wrong place without a key. The reception desk was at a different location. That was very bad, because I did not get any information about it before.

• Rick (2/5): - My problem was not with the hotel, but with hotels.com. Even though kids were supposed to be free, my room with one kid was 60 euros cheaper than the other two rooms that had 2 kids. Sure seemed like a switch for me. Trying to contact you from the office ended after 30 minutes on hold and transfers, with being hung up on. So there was an extra 240 euros I didn't expect to spend.
• Bharati (2/5): Good room, ok location, NOT WORTH STAYING HERE! - Since I booked through this website, I assumed it was "hotel-style" apartments, but there is NO reception at this location!!! That is a big problem, especially because I had no way of contacting them other than sending emails; the phone in the room never went through to the reception despite my numerous emails about this! Not having a reception on site means that when the lift wasn't working as we were leaving with our 3 suitcases, I had no way of contacting them and my husband had to bring down our suitcases 4 flights of stairs instead! It also means, you have to go to a different location to check-in and wait for a long time to take a shuttle to this location or pay for your own taxi. We were staying for 4 nights and basic maintenance was not included!!! They don't even take out the trash and only gave us another set of towels after I sent an email with a strong request! I paid a lot for this place, nearly 1000 Euros for 4 nights and I am extremely unsatisfied! While the location is good, in that it is well connected by public-transport to all the main tourist attractions, it's not phenomenal and other than Casa Batllo and Casa Milo, not much is truly in walking distance with small kids. This is minor, but the shower stall didn't close properly, but as always, I had no one to discuss this with. Do not stay here, especially if you are travelling with kids!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice! - It was a nice place. My only concern was our shuttle driver. He made us a bit nervous in the traffic.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Disappointed last night. - It is quite inconvenient to have to go to an office to pick up the "key" then be transported to the apartment after a cab fare from the airport. The apartment was lacking extra blankets in the closet as is "Common" in other places. No welcoming coffee and was instructed to take out my own garbage. I have been to several AirBnB's and hotels without such instructions. In my 3 weeks traveling in Spain and Portugal I was not comfortable. The sofa bed mattress was in questionable condition, uncomfortable and had multiple stains. Despite the beautiful area, I regretted the booking.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Average. Apt. different from photos - This is a company managed apartment. The photos do not match the actual apartment you get, so beware of getting something entirely different from what you expect. Otherwise, it is OK, average apartment.
• Aviva (6/5): Great location/apt... but I was robbed at check in - When checking in, I was robbed. I turned my back to my luggage while seated at the couch area I was directed to by check in staff from the front desk to fill out paperwork. During that time, someone stole my small roller bag which was attached to my main bag. Cosmo staff reviewed security cameras and indicated that the position of my bag was not in their camera view. They offered to walk me over to the police station to file a report which I decided not to do after being in a state of shock, a long journey behind me, contents of the bag not being irreplaceable things and having a 5.5 year old freaked out by the whole thing. I was disappointed that the hotel did not check back with me during my 4 day stay just to see how we were doing. I would have expected them to be more caring of its guests and work better to protect us against unreasonable risk of harm, including this criminal act. Since Barcelona is a city with high likelihood of crime that may be committed against a hotel guest, I felt that more extensive safety measures should have been taken by them. They failed to provide adequate security measures and have a lobby/check in area and check in process that invite a robbery to happen. My paperwork was not handled at the front desk but rather I was directed to the couch area to the side/back of desk, away from my standing luggage. I was not directed to move it. Also, I had my year old with me who was playing in their play area- a good distraction for her and me as parent
• Verified traveler (10/5): - easy and friendly check in. Mohamed from reception was very efficient, professional and helpful. Location is perfect. Unit is quite spacious. the only thing I didn't like is that there was only 1 bathroom in the unit.

• Daniel (8/5): Good. - The apartments were ok to good. The location was fantastic. The apartment was comfortable enough. As we had a baby we wanted to be able to cook, so I would stay again for that, but last time we visited Barcelona we stayed in a hotel for similar price that was much nicer.

While, it lacked the intimacy of a personal host or the services of a hotel the property was more spacious than a hotel. Could feel a little isolating for a solo traveler not already familiar with BCN.
• Driss (10/5): Great Stay - It was a great stay at Cosmo apartments Passeig de Gràcia. The check-in and the free transfer to the apartment was quick and easy. The manager was very welcoming. The only thing to improve is to have a reception inside the apartment building, this will make the check-in more convenient.
• Nathaniel (8/5): Stay at Cosmo Apartment - It was a really nice apartment and pretty big for a family of 5. It was convenient since there were 3 toilets and 2 showers, kitchen, and dining. The patio was big, unfortunately we didn’t have time to use it. The apartment was close to a lot of places and the 24-hour store around the corner was a plus. It’s also close to the train and bus stops. We had a great time staying here. The only thing was we arrived in Barcelona late at night and we had to go to a different place to pick up the keys and they didn’t have a shuttle service to take us to the apartment.
• carlos (4/5): Worst Staff - First the apartment doesn’t have reception area— we arrive there by taxi and found out that you will get the keys in other location — considering we have a lot of luggage’s Then the staff told us there will be shuttles until 10pm. We arrived around 9:31 pm and the staff told us shuttle is up to 9:30 pm only. We spend so much money on the taxi back and forth with our luggages which is very hard and uncomfortable. I won’t recommend this place unless they trained their staff properly
• Shirley (6/5): Overall stay should have been better - Pros: lay out of apartment was good. Quiet. Comfortable bed. 2 blocks from metro. On major bus route. Lots of restaurants nearby. Cons: couch and chairs needed cleaning. Floor needed good cleaning. Shower door did not close completely and leaked water all over floor. Internet kept dropping mobile connection while in use. No drying rack to dry clothes that were washed.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Barcelona trip with wife and daughter - Lovely stay, the apartment is very clean and modern, perfect with a baby. Great location too. Overall excellent, although can be tricky to get hold of staff as headquarters is in another part of the city. Would stay again.

• Tad (8/5): Perfect location in most beautiful city in Europe - We stayed in the Passing the Gracias Cosmopolitan Apartments (there are some other in Barcelona also). The location was perfect - walking distance to all points of interest. We got Barcelona 10 public transport ticket also, which allows 10 rides on all modes of transport for EUR9.95 within Zone. Now, the apartment was large (about 50m^2), airconditioned with a good size double bed and a lots of storage areas - however the bed was too low = due to "modern" furnishing of the place; bathroom was very good. The sitting room was also good size, however suffering from badly layout furniture placement, and again, from "modern" furniture - too low , or just uncomfortable. The kitchenette was good size and had a dish-washing machine, washing machine with a dryer; induction cooking top - but no suitable metal cooking utensils - and an electric oven. No microwave oven!!!. There was also a filter coffee maker - a cheap device, which did not work well and a negative contrast to high quality of the other kitchen equipment. I would still recommend this apartment to others. One note of warning: Get the staff to show you how to open the front gate and the door to the apartment - it was nothing I have seen before - and without written instructions impossible to figure it out!
• Brian (10/5): very comfortable stay in superb location - conveniently located spacious apartment that is walking distance to the good restos, shops, convenience stores, and tourist attractions. we stayed in a 3br apartment which was spacious for us 5 adults (without having anyone to sleep in the couch). would def stay there again..
• Tina & Jim (8/5): Well location; spacious & good price - We stayed 3 nights at the Cosmo Apartments – Valencia in September 2017. From the airport, we went by taxi to the head office Cosmo – Saints as per staff email advice for check-in & get key card. We were worried about how to get to the Cosmo Apartment Valencia, then a friendly staff said “Don’t worry, you can sit here relax with a cold drink and we will organise the transfer”, it will be perfect if the FREE transfer had been advised by email in advance that would be less worrying for travelers. The Cosmo Apartments – Valencia is in the best location; near the metro station & taxi; and lots of restaurants, the next door is a Japanese restaurant with the reasonable price and delicious dishes. The apartment is very bright with the green & orange colours decoration & the same colour with towers & bathrobes & slippers; also very clean; spacious; with the washing machine in the kitchen – really good; good kitchen equipment; nice balcony… Highly recommended.

• Douglas (10/5): Good service and comfortable modern apartment - Many good points about this centrally located apartment. It is modern, very clean, and well equipped for a stay in central Barcelona. It was quiet in the apartment in a street of the main Passeig de Gracia. Management specifically says no loud music after 11.00 pm. There is nice balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. Supermarkets including Mercadona are close by, if you want to use the apartment kitchen. All in all, a good place. If you book direct they give you a free car - which is an amazing deal.
• Graham (8/5): Self contained - The apartment is very modern wth styling from the 70's. it is centrally located just near most of the important Gaudy buildings. The main challenges is to checking you must travel quite a distance to collect keys to get access to the apartment. There is no daily service to tidy or vacuum or replace anything in the apartment so you need to supply everything. The facilities in the apartment are really great with large fridge and cooking facilities. It is also very quiet. One small issue is every one smokes in Spain and the air conditioning smelled of smoke usually overnight as people return from their night out. The front door closes with a loud bang so it is worth closing the outer door to avoid a shock.

• Khanh (10/5): Great apt and location - It was an amazing stay in a great location... near metro stations and shopping. Very clean and spacious. The only problem was there was a small drainage problem in the shower.
• sandy (10/5): Great location, clean and nice apartment - This is a clean and modern apartment with comfortable beds. It's located in a great area right off the trendy 'Passiage de Garcia'. Great restaurants and metro nearby. I would highly recommend this apartment. there are only 2 things could be improve - (1) kitchen needs a microwave, (2). You have to pickup the key at a different location.

Have to get the room key from a different location, which isn't difficult but not great when you're carrying luggage around. This is not made clear. There are very modern appliances, including a dishwasher and washing machine. No microwave, which seemed strange. It has amazing air conditioning throughout.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Close to everything - I really enjoyed my stay. I had more than I needed at the Apartment. Definitively will go back , especially if staying longer. It feels like home, you have the necessary stuff and not have the feeling that you are in a hotel.
• RTC (8/5): Great location, very comfortable apartment - We had a one bedroom apartment with a balcony at the back of the building. Very quiet which was excellent given the location near the Passeig de Gràcia. Staff very responsive to inquiries. Apartment was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed especially a washing machine after 2 weeks of traveling.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Stay was marred by terrible front desk personnel. They have no people skills and blame customers for their mistakes. Our air conditioner never functioned properly during our entire stay and front desk person Georgina and Javier made us feel like we were not following directions. Their air conditioner technician finally realized our complaint was legitimate and all they wanted to do was pay our taxi fare to transfer us to another apartment for our last night?? To top it all they were transferring us to a less desirable area. We declined and after much discussion Javier promised to talk to his manager to try get us reimbursed about 20% from what had be paid in full already. We already left Spain and have not heard from anyone from Cosmo Apartments. This experience tells me never to go back to Cosmo.
• linda j (2/5): - During our entire stay our air conditioner was not working. Staff at check in building was very very rude, telling us that we were not following directions on how to turn it on. We called every single day to tell them it was not working even after technician would come. On our fourth day, we decided to wait for technician to come so he could see what we were complaining about. Front desk finally agreed after technician realized we were correct in our complaint. Staff at check in building offered to move us to another building on our last night. We declined as this was not in the area we paid for and wanted to be at. After much discussion they promised to email us to confirm That we would get some sort of discount but after checking out we have not heard anything from them. We definitely will not go back to Cosmo Apartments after the way they treated us. Another minus is the inconvenience of having to check in at another building 15 minutes away by taxi. There is not check in desk at the apartment complex itself.
• Holly (10/5): Adored this apartment! - Great location: central but a block away from passeig de gracia so a bit quieter so you can enjoy having the balcony doors open. Very good base to explore the city from and lovely to come back to - very well furnished and comfortable. The staff at the nearby office/reception were very helpful and made some good suggestions of where to visit during our stay. Cannot wait to stay here again!
• Darlene (10/5): Perfect For Us - Clean and quiet. Really comfortable bed. This place was within walking distance to every single thing that we did - Park Guell, Casa Battlo, Palau de la Musica Catalonia, Sagrada Familia and more. My only suggestion for improvement - - sharpen the knives.
• Gerardo (10/5): Fantastic apartment - Great apartment with a balcony, very close to the metro and walking distance to a lot of restaurants, markets and cafeterias. Very clean and with enough space. A lot of windows. Kitchen was complete with supplies, dishwasher and washing machine. The only down side is that you have to do the check-in in a different location; other than than, it was perfect.
• Lance (6/5): Barcelona - You have to check in and get your key at another location about 15 or 20 blocks away. Costly by taxi and really inconvenient. Fridge stunk like fish. Long piece of hair on the bed. Modern apartment, they just need to have a better process for checking in and pay attention to the cleaning.
• msb (6/5): Nobody told me about no attendant - I arrived from the airport by taxi full of lugagge and nobody was there, no ring, nothing! I was lucky that I had a cel tô CALL tô the administración that told me that I had tô pick the keys só far away from the apartment. The things were not so Clean and NO side Table or even light to read in the room, nobody appears tô clean in 4 days. I prefere a hotel for this price!
• Anna (6/5): Close to everything, perfect location. - Door lock too complicated. Stove not working. No electric kettle neither microwave available :( Inconvenient as reception is located about 10-15min (by taxi) away from the hotel. BUT great location. 5mins away (walk) from Casa Mila, 20mins away (walk) from Sagrada Familia, 15mins (walk) from the market.
• English tourist (8/5): City Centre Apartment - perfect location. - Overall very good , the apartment is a short walk from both the main square in Barcelona and the popular Gaudi attraction the Sagrade F On arrival in Barcelona you need to divert to the firm's HQ by Sants Train Station to collect the keys so this can result in you needing 2 taxis from the Airport or you can use the Metro depending on how many bags you have. HQ Reception staff were helpful and offer you a City map. On departure you just leave the keys in the apartment - check in time is 3pm although we were allowed in at 1.30pm and checkout time is 11am although the cleaner was keenly waiting earlier than that. Our apartment was well equipped for self catering and laundry. We had a generous sized lounge with dining table and the bedroom and bathroom facilities were hard to fault. The pleasant Café next door provides all you could need for breakfast or a pinic lunch. You also have a bar just over the road and a taxi rank and metro station very close so all bases are covered. You are located on a busy road but the traffic noise did not bother us at night.
