• Barry (10/5): One night is not long enough - The hotel was easy to find, in a pleasant location with good parking. The receptionist was very welcoming and showed us to our rooms. The bedroom was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The meal in the restaurant was excellent and the staff were excellent. Breakfast was great with a very good selection of fresh food and good coffee available. I highly recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again.

• Marco (9/5): - Una sosta durante un lungo viaggio, abbiamo trovato una bella accoglienza, tutto lo staff è stato accogliente e gentilissimo, camere della giusta misura e pulitissime. Tutto sembra nuovo, anche il ristorante annesso ci ha regalato una buona cena, auto parcheggiata in parcheggio privato e colazione ottima ad un prezzo onesto. Una location che utilizzerò nuovamente e consigliato.

• Jesús (9/5): Tranquilidad y próximo a diversos centros turísticos. - Hotel en emplazamiento muy tranquilo en las proximidades de Pau. Cercano a Tarbes, Lourdes, cuevas de Betharram, … Si vas en coche es una buena opción para no preocuparte de aparcamiento o andar por el centro de las ciudades.

Hôtel tout confort, chien accepté avec supplément 10€ pour une nuit, parking fermé, restaurant de qualité, petit-déjeuner où il ne manque rien avec, cerise sur le gâteau, une machine automatique à presser les oranges ce qui est assez rare dans les hôtels, personnel vraiment très sympathique et disponible, ascenseur, propreté impeccable, calme, environnement très agréable pour promener notre petit chien. Concernant la chambre, très bien équipée, salle d'eau particulièrement propre, literie très confortable avec matelas Epeda etc etc... Je n'ai vraiment aucune remarque négative à faire sur cet hôtel restaurant et pourtant je reconnais être une cliente très exigeante et assez critique en général mais là j'avoue ne rien avoir à dire de négatif. Je ne peux donc que vous conseiller d'y séjourner. Félicitations à tous les personnels et particulièrement à celui chargé du nettoyage car le travail est très soigné. Rien.

Amazing restaurant offering local Basque cuisine or more international dishes (dogs allowed!). Breakfast was served for me in my room, and it was plentiful. Great overall experience. The toilet was divided from the shower and sink, which was odd. There really should be a sink in the same room as the toilet - there is certainly enough space to install one. Instead, you effectively have two large bathrooms with a shower and sink in one room (this room is large enough to install a toilet) and a lone toilet in a large room of its own. This was a small detail, which did not detract from our stay - it just seemed rather illogical not to be able to wash your hands in the same room as the toilet!

The double room was modern, very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was hot and powerful. The breakfast was wholesome with choice of cereals, hams, cheeses, bread/croissant/ sausage and eggs. A very enjoyable and value for money stay. There was nothing to dislike about Hotel L'Amandier.

The room we booked was very well presented, clean and modern. We had an excellent nights sleep following a surprisingly good meal in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was generous and set us up for a days journey. A great place for an overnight stay but would also be a good base for a few days in the region. There was almost nothing to fault. Perhaps a hand basin in the separate WC to the bathroom may be suggested but that is all.

Showing us exactly how to use the secure parking, helping us park our large van, showing us to our room, etc. The room was spacious, modern, clean and very comfortable. The location was quiet and the restaurant very good also with helpful, attentive staff. In addition to the secure parking, there is public parking in front of the logis under plane trees. A temporary problem - when you arrive it looks as if you are coming into a construction site but I am sure this will be finished in the next few months.
• Denise (10/5): Fabolous mattress, great sleep. - We had an absolutely fantastic night in this hotel. We would like to say ‘Mercie’ again to all the staff at the hotel, everyone was very friendly. We had a long drive from Spain and arrived at 21:00, but were welcomed and pleasantly surprised with the menu offered at their restaurant. Our room was new, clean and our mattress was fabulous. This is a perfect stop and recommend anyone driving through France to stop here. Good value for money with the added bonus of super friendly staff. We wish this Hotel all the best!

Laurie welcomed us very warmly and made accommodations for our early arrival and change of room. We were delighted to try local foods at the restaurant, where the staff was very friendly, professional and kind. The food was delicious. Everything was very comfortable in outstanding.
