• Claire (10/5): Stunning location and property but maybe a problem with someone with mobility issues - STUNNING! The pool area, restaurant, food, drinks, and the view were beautiful. The staff were really friendly and helpful along with their very cute hotel pets 🥰 love their values on animal welfare! The vegan food was delicious. Our room was gorgeous, would have preferred twin beds as was with my sister but a double wasn’t a big deal to us. The balcony was lovely with a hammock to watch the sunset from. Our only issue was getting a taxi to take us all the Way to the property from the pier, we didn’t realise but it sits at the top of a very steep hill and most taxis will not drive up it. With our big backpacks it wouldn’t have been ideal to walk it after a full day travelling. After trying for a taxi at the dock with them all turning us away I called the hotel for assistance which they were able to sort this for us. We also struggled to get back after the full moon party with the same issue.

• Raphael (7/5): Besides rats in the room, it was ok. - Pool is amazing, with that view !! Our last night I was kept awake all night as there was a rat or rats crunching on bamboo and making noise there kept the bed dirty and in the morning even rat poop was behind my pillow which I had to put down to make a distance from this bamboo wall, they were jumping inside fighting everything. Besides this inconvenient, overall was ok.

• Gert (5/5): Misleading concept, limited food options, and an overall uncomfortable experience. - the view from the pool was pretty good The hotel should clearly state in its name or at least very prominently in its description that it serves only vegan food. I would not have booked it had I known this in advance. If a hotel chooses to offer a vegan concept, it should still provide a wider and more thoughtful variety of dishes to meet the expectations of guests who are not vegan. In addition, dogs were running around freely throughout the premises, which made the overall experience even less comfortable.
• Ashley (10/5): The most picturesque and perfect stay of our life. - The location of this hotel had me initially concerned, it up a steep hill that even the taxi driver did not want to drive up… DO NOT let that deter you, the views from this hotel are phenomenal, hands down the most beautiful and picturesque hotel that I stayed in during mine and my wife’s month in various places of Thailand. Oh and if you love a sunset view, I promise you will not find a better view if you tried. The atmosphere was great, the staff are nothing but polite, kind, friendly and willing to assist you wherever possible. I wish we had stayed for the Pool party hosted every Saturday. I will say that if you do not like dogs, then this is not the hotel for you. The owner is an amazing man who has rescued 6 beautiful dogs from the island, the dogs roam free around the hotel, it is their home and we were their guest, for me and my wife it made the stay even more perfect than the view and as much as we loved every dog, we have to give a special call out to Cola the Husky, who I still miss now we’ve left. The hotel is also vegan food and drink only, which I will admit I was skeptical about on arrival, however, although it has not turned me vegan, I will admit the food was as good as any I have had in my time here, so don’t let it put you off. The rooms are clean, spacious and the aircon works without fault. The beds are comfy. The shower hot (or cold whichever you prefer) with good pressure. Outside the rooms are perfect for a chill out with the use of comfy hammocks. Value for money? Honestly I could not recommend this hotel anymore if I tried, from the staff, the owner, the food, the hotel/location…. to the dogs, you will struggle to find a better hotel in the whole of Koh Phangnan and even Thailand. Absolutely nothing. It is perfect.

• Elliot (4/5): - the location was impeccable, the restaurant and pool srea was lovely the bathroom was atrocious, it waas full of flies, mosquitos, bugs, it was basically open to the outside world (bare in mind your in a jungle!) couldnt even go in there because theres was 20/30 flies. we ended up leaving one day early because it was that bad. that being said everything else was really nice.
• Martin (9/5): not only views but a kind mission too - The location was great - beautiful views ofc but also proximity to Thongsala. The restaurant and the pool is accessible to public, but it was usually very empty, The food and drinks are kind of pricy but the staff is chill, you don't have to order anything as the hotel guest. The food was really good though and everything is vegan. They provide food for stray dogs, so there are always some dogs and their mission is to take care of animals in general which gives a really nice vibe.

• ישראל (8/5): - Nice accommodation with the most spectacular infinity pool in all of Ko Phangan. Nice Burmese staff, very respectful and always ready to help. The plus is the spectacular sunsets that as hotel guests they reserved a place for us every evening at our request, and always treated us in a helpful manner. Staying on the mountain causes pressure in the ears, this must be taken into account and the standard room is also a minus. Getting to the accommodation is difficult - a very steep climb is not recommended for inexperienced drivers to go up or down at night, very dangerous. The restaurant's traditional food is very tasty Apart from the great party there and the sunsets, there's nothing to stay at the hotel. The bed isn't very comfortable.

Would recommend and will defo come back - The amazing views, the staff, the rescue dogs and the parties they throw every Saturday It’s not the easiest to get to and some taxi drivers don’t take you up the driveway as it’s a very steep hill. The vegan menu is good but sometimes I just fancied some eggs or regular milk in my coffee which they obviously can’t do being vegan

• Boerge (7/5): View from the top - The view from the pool is very nice. It's very silent (except from saturdays and the party on this day only) and a lot of bird song from different type of birds. A nice orchestra. The balcony is tight, but loved sitting outside with the birds singing around us. Room serviced every day. New towel and water. Very friendly staff all over. Basic bungalow for a high price. Was expecting a better bathroom. Very small. Low pressure in the shower. The bed was just ok. It was small and a bit hard. Small pool with only seating. Not any space to lay down for some sun. Two month before arriving I booked pickup, but the forgot us. No big deal as we fixed our own taxi. But it was warm wasting time waiting for them to pick us up. Food and drinks was very expencive, and only vegan. We found a fantastic restaurant down the hill named Whum Noi Noi. Where also the locals come for dinner.

La piscine est extraordinaire, on y vient vraiment pour la vue ! Le personnel est adorable également. La montée pour l’hôtel est vraiment rigolote et effrayante. Faite attention. Attention les plats du restaurant sont veggie ! Pour les viandars à vos risques et périls. Le prix est également élevé. Mais en meme temps avec une vue pareil et perché sur une colline on ne peut pas s’attendre à des prix comme dans le centre.

Hütte auf Stelzen auf einem Berg fernab jeglicher Zivilisation.Um die Rezeption,Pool und Bar zu erreichen musste man einen Schotterweg nach oben oder eben nach unten.Dorr wo Pflastersteine waren,waren sie halsbrecherisch verlegt.Alles voller Hunde und Katzen die dort leben,perse kein Problem mit Tieren aber sie lagen auch auf den Sitzsäcken in die man sich nass nach dem baden rauf legen sollte da es keine Sonnenliegen gibt.Die Tiere bzw Katzen springen auf die Terasse und kommen wie selbst verständlich in die Zimmer.Vor unserem Eingang lag ein reißen Stein über den man klettern sollte im zum Eingang zu gelangen... Küche gibt es ausschließlich Vegan,Frühstück nur auf dem Zimmer,nebenbei die Hütte wackelt insgesamt sehr stark und in der Toilette war die Ameisenautobahn eröffnet.Die haben sich bestimmt genauso gegrußelt vor der nichtvorhandenen Dusche,die nebenbei nur kaltes Wasser abgibt. Das sind unsere Erfahrungen aus der Schnelle und mehr Chance wollten wir diesem Objekt nicht geben.Nie wieder dorthin. Als Anhang ich kann leider keine Videos sondern nur Bilder hier rein setzen,hatten die Szenarien gefilmt.
• Elizabeth (6/5): Poor value for money, only a nice view - The view and the bedding was pretty much the only good things! Very bad value for money!!! It’s like a bungalow camp with a nice pool. Unbelievably difficult location up a very steep hill, I almost died going up and had to even climb a fence because google was wrong. Also didn’t know it would be a raging party when I arrived.. maybe a little warning?? I couldn’t even check in because they were people dancing everywhere to trashy electronic music.. the staff just found it funny. Next day got to enjoy the view finally but couples just kept showing up wanting refunds and complaining - not a great vibe when you’re at the pool trying to relax. The food was very average and only vegan. I can eat vegan but it was just boring and overpriced. Dogs barking for over an hour outside my room. Next day on checkout I texted asking for 30’mins extension and they said yes, but exactly at 11am as I’m getting changed one of the male staff shows up at my glass door telling me it’s 11am. I told him yeah I texted and he said oh ok. Really bad honestly… I would never recommend anyone to stay here.

• Sabine (4/5): Nie wieder! Ist was für junge Leute - Die Aussicht und der Pool sind schön. Hatte einen Pickup zum Pier bestellt, welcher 30 Minuten zu spät kam. Dann stellte sich raus, dass es im Restaurant nur Veganes Essen gab, was auf Booking.com nicht vermerkt war! Da ich eine Soja Allergie gabe und Diabetes, war es schwierig was Essen zu finden. Es gab für mich somit nur einen Salat. Die Esstische sind beim Pool und es ist extrem laut. Musik und Gäste die in aller lautstärle redeten. Als ich mein Essen bekam räkeln sich junge Frauen für Selfies und Fotos. Das ist mot der Zeit extrem nervend. Also nichts mit die schöne Aussicht geniessen. Auch war es bis Mitternacht sehr laut!

• Aya (5/5): 景色がとても良いが、急な坂道。 - プールからの景色は最高でした。 立地が悪過ぎます。坂道が急すぎて、タクシー代も高くなりますし、断られる事もあります。
• Hribar (6/5): - Aussicht und Bararea (Achtung: es ist sehr der instagram spot mit einigen Tagesgästen). Wir hatten zuvor angefragt, ob die Möglichkeit besteht, in den Bungalo ein drittes Zustellbett zu stellen, da wir zu dritt gereist sind. Uns wurde dies vor der Reise bestätigt. Als wir ankamen, wurde das " Bett" spontan hergerichtet. Es war eine Art Sonnenliege ohne Matratze. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde dann eine Art Liegeauflage gebracht. Gemütlich ist definitiv etwas anderes. Zweiter großer negativer Punkt ist die Auffahrt. Man kann kaum mit einem Moped hinauffahren, da der Straßenwinkel 45 Grad beträgt. Wir mussten also jedes Mal uns raufplagen. Ich würde also eher einen Tagesausflug einmal für die Aussicht empfehlen. Zuletzt gab es einen rave im Hotel, über den wurde uns aber ebenfalls gar nichts gesagt. Es wäre hier nett gewesen, die Gäste zumindest über solche Events zu informieren. Das Badezimmer war leider auch sehr muffig.
• Yana (6/5): Think twice - Exceptional views from the pool. The pool The restaurant The staff The steepest way up to the hotel, dangerous with bike, very difficult by foot. Only suits good drivers with good bike or great physical shape and love for a challenge. I would never book if I knew this will be this way. Taxis charge much more because of the location and not everyone is ready to take you up and we found ourselves climbing up at 5 am after party cause the taxi did not want to go up. The room is very basic with awful lighting.

First and most important is a very very very steep way up to the hotel. Very dangerous for scooter, and very difficult for going by foot even in good shape. We left bike down by the main road and went up by foot and really suffered. The room is very basic, with basic shower, leaving all the bathroom wet after use. The bed us o.k.

Essen war auch lecker und vegan 🌱 Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis hat einfach nicht gestimmt. Die Zimmer waren etwas heruntergekommen, die Bungalows undicht. Es war ein total modriger Geruch in den Zimmern, sodass die Bettdecke so unangenehm gerochen hat, dass wir diese nach einer Nacht wechseln lassen mussten. Unsere Klamotten haben wir nicht ausgepackt da diese den Geruch sonst auch angenommen hätten. Auf den Handtüchern und auf einem Kissenbezug waren Blutflecken. Es war Baulärm in der Nähe von dem man geweckt wird. Ameisen im Bad.

Due to the ongoing pool party, it was a more hectic check in, and was challenging to get dinner, however, due to the circumstances, was understandable and the staff were incredibly accomodating

If you are lucky enough to experience one of the colourful sunsets, this will stay in your memory forever. ❤️ The vegan menu is tasty, the beds comfortable and with a fridge and tv(not that it is needed), you have everything you need to feel at home. I loved my stay and will be back. ❤️

Je trouve que le prix est très cher, pour le lieu, c’est tout en haut d’une montagne. Il faut à chaque fois commander un taxi pour bouger. C’est très difficile d’accès et les Taxi sont très chers. Il n’y a pas de petit déjeuner.

• Robyn (4/5): Disappointed - The view from the pool was lovely, it was quiet and lots of nature surrounding it. Rooms looked better in photos, but most of all the staff weren’t very warm, helpful or welcoming. This is the first ever review I have given where I have not felt welcomed as a guest, although I only booked one night (as I was there on a voluntary animal support day) and had early check in and out which may have impacted an icy service, sure, but the attitude left me feeling very inconvenient and not welcome.

• Turon Viciere (6/5): Bof - La vue et la piscine. Le faite d’avoir -15% pour le bar et restaurant quand nous sommes clients. Un chauffeur booké avec l’hôtel devait venir nous chercher, personne n’est venu. Même pas d’excuse ou de geste commercial de l’hôtel inadmissible. Trop difficile d’accès, nous ne pouvons pas accéder à l’hôtel à pied il faut soit une voiture soit un scooter c’est beaucoup trop haut et rude comme pente. La salle de bain est très vétuste.

• Mihaela (9/5): Best view indeed - "Amazing view" is an understatement. The bungalows also have a beautiful view, big balconies with hamac, spacious room. Peaceful area. Nice staff. Bathroom is very basic, with no window or ventilation system. Mattress a bit too hard. Vegan restaurant.

• Céline (3/5): Presse que mon séjour se termine - La vue L accès principalement , trop difficile d’accès en scooter ! Accident vécu ! L insalubrité de la chambre , difficile d y accéder également , insectes , (cafards ,….) présents , salle de bain très médiocre ….
