- Claudia Sibylle (10/5): - Die Vineyard Countrylodge ist wunderschön und in jedem Detail sehr liebevoll angelegt und ausgestattet. Als es bei unserer Ankunft geregnet hatte, hatte uns die Besitzerin sogar selbst zu einem der Restaurants (Blu Vines - Empfehlung!) gefahren und auch angeboten, uns wieder abzuholen. Die Zimmer und Terrassen waren bezaubernd! Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht als Zwischenstopp in Montagu, so dass wir die Lodge nicht wirklich intensiv genießen konnten (z.B. den pool), aber in jedem Fall 100% zu empfehlen.

The staff we all VERY friendly as well as the owner, she is an absolute gem!! The property is very sweet and charming. The only thing I wish to point out, is I would imagine it would be very cold showering in the winter with no shower walls or door. But thats just an FYI, it is still 120% worth staying here. And the morning breakfast is traditional and DELICIOUS!!! Open Showers are not MY favorite - But that is a ME thing. Not a property problem!!

The room was spacious, very clean and a had a lovely stoep, with chairs and a day bed. It was lovely to have the swimming pool and there was very easy access to the lovely town and was within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafes and art galleries. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was super. I have no hesitation in recommending Vineyard Country House.

Der Pool war herrlich, regelmäßig kMen die Hühner vorbei, was recht unterhaltsam war. mittags konnten wir eine üppige Wurst Käseplatte beste, die liebevoll zubereitet wurde. Die vorbei führende Straße konnte man hören, war aber nicht wirklich störend.
- edl246 (10/5): Peace amongst the vineyards - The property is in the middle of the attractive town of Montagu And yet is set amongst its own small vineyard. Our bedroom enjoyed a splendid view across the vineyard. The bedrooms and gardens were maintained impeccably. There was a full size swimming pool within the vineyard. We were using within walking distance of a variety of eating outlets. The events were comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and Estelle was a friendly and generous host. We would thoroughly recommend this property

- Stay15784635474 (10/5): It's a nice place for a few days - The four double rooms are located in annex buildings. Our room had a covered terrace overlooking the garden. The garden is located on the edge of a vineyard. There are sun loungers by the pool and a bench under a canopy. The room has air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The double bed is a comfortable width and has a selection of soft pillows. There is one parking space per room in the garden. Hand and shower gel and body lotion are provided in the bathroom. +Fridge, capsule machine, kettle. Breakfast was freshly prepared. The safe in the cupboard was not secured and therefore useless. Just a note: the owners have two quiet dogs.

Each accommodation unit is designed with great attention to detail, and the magnificent full breakfast was especially impressive. The kind hostess generously offered valuable advice, including recommendations for restaurants. I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip.

The pool surrounded by the vineyard, was stunning and heavenly, while still being centrally located. Beautiful breakfasts and garden as well as gorgeous home made clothes to buy! Would highly recommend.

Estelle is very kind and helpful with ideas of what to do, and she creates an excellent breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable and set in pretty gardens overlooking their own vineyards. Safe parking. Slight noise of traffic but it’s not bad.

Sie gibt sehr viel3 Tipps weiter, eb3nso Essensempfehlungen die auch den Tatsachen entsprechen. Das Country House ist super schön, hat einen tollen Pool. Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet, jedes Zimmer hat eine Aussendusche, was einfach genial ist. Alle Zimmer blicken auf den hauseigenen Weinberg. Die PKW können aug dem Gelönde abgestellt werden und sind gesichert. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit hier und werden sicjerlich das nächste Mal wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an Estelle
- Juliët (10/5): Geweldig! - Wat een geweldig verblijf was dit met een ontzettend vriendelijke gastvrouw, We verbleven op 11 plekken in Zuid-Afrika, maar dit overtrof alles. Gezien we laat aankwamen, regelde de eigenaresse voor ons last minute nog een restaurant, super lief! Daarbij konden we laat op de avond voor een flesje wijn terecht en hadden we de volgende ochtend het lekkerste ontbijt ooit. Alles was tot in de details verzorgd en de kamer zag er verder ook tip top uit. Heerlijk bed, heerlijke douche en een mooi terras om lekker even te ontspannen. Een echte aanrader om even bij te komen en op te laden voor je vervolgreis! Niks. Alles was fantastisch.

- Susan (10/5): A perfect stay for a Montagu visit - Estelle was a wonderful hostess and was so helpful and charming. We had the most wonderful room which had everything we needed, and comfortable bed with perfect lightweight bed covering rather than a duvet which is just too warm in the summer here. Breakfasts were amazing. Walk around town with ease, and good restaurants within few minutes walk. Lovely garden and pool.

- LMNel (10/5): The Vineyard Country House would suit a writers’ retreat or a creative getaway - The Vineyard Country House gave us a memorable multi-family stay. The owner, Estelle, was hands-on and present, and she made sure all our needs were met. The staff were warm and welcoming, and they created an easy, comfortable atmosphere for all. Breakfast was delicious and served in a charming dining area with a relaxed, inviting feel. The stunning gardens, mountains and wide-open spaces brought a sense of calm and rest. I think this location would suit a writers’ retreat or a creative getaway.

- Frank (10/5): Einzigartig! - Wo fängt man an? Es war einfach nur schön. Angefangen vom Empfang, unser Zimmer war ein Traum, quasi ein ganzes Haus. Die ganze Anlage ist liebevoll gestaltet, überall weiße Rosen, überall blüht es. Es gibt einen Pool, den wir sehr genossen haben. Die Lage ist perfekt. Wir konnten zu Fuß den Ort erkunden und haben uns sicher gefühlt. Das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich. Wir kommen wieder.
