- Jared (10/5): -
- Ron (10/5): - Lovely place.

Self-Check-In ohne Probleme.
- Arin (10/5): - Chris was a great host and sorted out the minimal issues we had promptly!
Very cleans and spacious home with a nice kitchen and living room space - also well decorated.
Great location - super safe neighbourhood.
- Andrew (10/5): - House is fantastic. Chris the host made everything easy and made sure that everything went well.
Location is great, close to numerous restaurants and an easy walk into the centre or the waterfront.
Area felt really safe.
- Elbert (10/5): Holiday with family - Very comfortable house and the best location to explore cape town!
- Elizabeth (10/5): Great location and lots of room in amazing home - Very friendly and helpful owner. Great location within easy walking distance of restaurants and grocery store. Even waterfront can be walked to, though a bit far. Though the owner said the tap water was drinkable, we bought large bottles of water at the grocery store.
- Joy (9/5): Awesome host, easy living, comfortable, walking distance to shops, restaurants, the Waterfront, the city.just perfect - Wessels House felt immediately like home. Very comfortable, warm feelings. Sunny house facing north. Nothing
- AshC (9/5): -
- Vrinda (9/5): Superb - Great location, safe, clean, lovely host - overall a very pleasant experience! The pool could be cleaner
- Kexin (10/5): Exceptional - It's a great house with complete facilities, a good geographical location, and a safe surrounding area. Chris contacted and helped in advance before moving in, and kept in touch during the stay. The whole stay process was very pleasant. I will also choose this place when I come to Cape Town in the future.
- Luke (10/5): Amazing Host, Amazing House, Amazing Pool, Amazing City!! - Firstly, Chris, the owner, contacted me prior to the trip to give insight into Cape Town and some helpful advice and tips on things to do and see, which was greatly appreciated. Secondly, upon arrival, Chris showed us around and made us feel very welcome. After receiving a tour of the house, he wished us a great holiday, and we got to enjoy the next 4 days in this amazing place. It was great value for money as the rooms all had en-suite bathrooms, and the outside area was amazing with a pool and a lovely seating area to BBQ and take in the relaxing Cape Town vibes. Very accommodating throughout and will be coming back to Cape Town in the future and will 100% be looking to stay here again. Nothing, stay and amenities were exceptional!
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynne (8/5): Wonderful family shared space. The house was our center for friends & family to visit. Perfect. - Location was exceptional. Cycle event weekend. Walking distance to great restaurants. The large space for all of us. 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms rare find. Pool was wonderful with large patio. Not much. Not enough pots & bowls in the kitchen. Few furniture pieces outdated or in need of repair.
- Jonp (7/5): Good -
- Kirit (10/5): Great House - Great house in a nice location close to the waterfront and shopping area.
Chris was a wonderful host and lives next door which is very convenient.
The house itself is clean and modern with ample space.
- Tamzyn (10/5): Lovely! - I loved it! It was comfortable and cozy, and I loved the natural light coming through from the ceiling. The host was very welcoming and recommended some great places near by. It is in a safe area. This is a perfect place to stay if you're going to be out most of the day. It is about a 10 minute walk from the V&A Waterfront and a 5 min drive to the beaches.
- Maxine (9/5): Lovely little spot, fantastic location and great communication from host. - Clean studio apartment with everything we needed. Fantastic location in Greenpoint. NA
- Joey (10/5): Perfect! - The house was great: it had all facilities, 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms is really convenient. The veranda with bbq, lounge and dining table is ideal for relaxing. Host Chris is available at all times and helpful! Location to V&A walkable or a quick uber ride and it’s a perfect location for day trips all around Cape Town. Thanks Chris!
- Brock (10/5): Couldn't have asked for anything more! - Excellent in all ways - could not recommend more highly. Beautifully designed house - you can tell it was done by South Africa's finest female architect. We were here for a week of work and conferences. Perfect place and lots of space to work together while having your own private space. Great shops and restaurants right down the street.
Note - the house is actually BIGGER in person than the pictures suggest. Normally it's the other way around. Chris was a fantastic and very accommodating host. Best stay I've had in 20+ countries of travel.
- Bradley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shingisai (10/5): It was a big space and comfy - Very comfy and welcome Nice and cozy
- Li (10/5): Best place to stay while visiting Cape Town - This is a beautiful house. We wish we could stay longer. Nothing
- Li (10/5): Nice place to stay in Cape Town - Everything Nothing
- Curtin (10/5): Great house. Great location. Great hosts. - This house is perfect for group holidays. Every bedroom comes with an ensuite. The open plan kitchen living room has plenty of space for people to dine and relax in comfort. The same goes for the outdoor space. The house offers an outside dining table along with a large outside lounge area with beautiful garden surrounds. The pool is the perfect distance away from the seating to hold a conversation with those in the pool and stay dry from the cannonballs.
Location was key here. You can walk to the V&A waterfront in minutes and the pedestrian crossings fall ideally for safety. You are also a stroll away from many beautiful restaurants and cafes without even crossing the road.
Chris and his colleague Lauren are wonderful hosts always available to help with any enquiries and full of fabulous recommendations. We could not ask for more. Nothing comes to mind
- Tammy (10/5): Perfect stay in Cape Town - There wasn't anything I didn't like. The studio was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything I needed. The location was perfect, within walking distance to a market and to the waterfront. Chris was a great host and very responsive. There was nothing I didn't like!
- Victor (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable home for self-catering stay. Good location to shopping and restaurants. - Beautiful space after 10 days on the road. Good location, comfortable rooms and living area inside and outside in the garden. Swimming pool. Fire place. Our Vito was too large for the secure parking.
- Siriwan (10/5): Lovely and comfortable place to stay in a perfect location. - Location is perfect! close to everywhere you want to see. easy to call for Uber. neighbourhood is quiet and safe even in the middle of the city. the studio's room is spacious enough for 2-3 people. kitchen is functional. I could make a real meal in there. bathroom is big and clean. My friend and I have a great time staying here. South africa's plugs are so much diffferent. I'd prepared a universal adapter but it didn't fit there. The studio has many plug spots though, and a few usb ports which help me a lot in this situation.
- James (9/5): Overall, the location is fantastic. Only 750m walk to the V& A waterfront where there's shops, resta - Welcomed by the Host Chris, he explained all the facilities and functions in and around the house. He was also very formative on selected excursions we could possibly do. Very helpful when we had an issue or two and sorted it out timeously. There could have been a little better selection of pots and.pans for cooking as there were only one small pot and two frying pans to cook with, as we were a party of 8 people this made it difficult to cook a roast, veggies and roast potatoes all at once....but we managed.
- Joe (10/5): Excellent, stay I will revisit the place in the near future - There was no breakfast, it was self catering The TV was limited, I prefer DSTV to be able to watch sports
- Harald (9/5): Most enjoyable stay in heart of Capetown. - House had a lovely garden and pool. Neighbourhood is quiet. Beds were really comfortable. Big house which could easily accommodate our group.
- Annette (9/5): Solid property for a comfortable visit in a good location close to the V&A - Chris the host met us personally and was very pleasant. He showed us around the property and gave us advise on the place places to visit and also to eat and drink. He was very knowledgeable of the area. The property had a few minor issues, broken sockets, broken bath tap but Chris pointed these out and advised that the house was getting a refurb after our visit.
We had an issue on day 1 & 2 of our vist with leaking water but Chris was right on the sitauton and got a plumber in to address the issue. This did not affect our stay as we was out of the house the majority of the day when repairs were being undertaken
- Stuart (8/5): Very good -
- Chari (10/5): The property was in a good location close to the V&A Waterfront. Uber/Taxi required without car. -
- Ronel (7/5): Pleasant and private - Breakfast not applicable. Location perfect for the purpose of my visit No water at the most crucial time after a race.
- Pieter (7/5): Easy access to Cape Quarter and restaurants - Was comfortable but basin taps strange, no pressure and kitchen basin tap loose. I would prefer a double/queen size bed. Only single bed made up, not very “elegant”, looks cheap.
- Rob (9/5): Wow! - Very spacious, a home from home with a touch of elegance, Very accommodating Landlord, opened the pool at our request - the water was typically Cape Town cold, but just the right thing for inflamed and sore muscles :-) Our stay was too short, but that is of course my fault :-)
- Tristan (9/5): Spacious yet cosy. - The room itself was excellent value for my money, being spacious with it's own en-suite and kitchen. Nice host. You have to handle your own laundry - there isn't a washing machine or laundry service. Not a major issue though as there is a launderette (Coin Op) within walking distance of the house.
- Mats (2/5): Terrible stay in cave environment - Nothing. Load shedding 4-5 hours per day when only lights are working. No wifi or TV. Very dark and it's like living in a cave. Mobile phone network can't reach into unit so if you want to connect, must walk out into the street! Kitchen have door facing to the underground garage and you will hear washing machine going even during the night. Kitchen was very dirty and cutlery 🍴 and fridge oily. Owner is having an attitude and even tried to overcharge double compared to booking website when I wanted to add one person more for two nights.
- Barbara (7/5): Quiet place - Quiet place.
a very quiet place, but I didn't understand the bed being so late because they only prepared one side since it was divided into 2 and when it was single it was very small, being able to use a double bed.
the kitchen was very badly burnt, the smell was unbearable The microwave could be cleaned and the smell would go away, the dishes in the kitchen were dirty, don't use a sponge to wash the dishes. the kitchen smelled very bad
- Zee (8/5): Very good - The home had more than enough space and is centrally located which makes it easier to get around even without a car rental. My bedroom lights were not working but that was not a major issue.
- Adele (7/5): Location is good. Beds are comfortable. Chris is a pleasent host. - Location. There was a lot of noise coming from upstairs. Moving of furniture. In evening when I want to sleep and in the morning.
Did not enjoy the shower being in a bath.
- Iva (8/5): Very good -
- Dmitry (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect.
I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Cape Town. Just one inconvenience. Please keep in mind there is a load shedding there from time to time.
- Louis (8/5): Very good -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional - Everything !
Chris & Pam were very welcoming & accomodating.
The studio was beautiful, clean & comfortable.
The area was safe & very convenient for the stadium & Myciti buses. Nothing
- Erica (9/5): Spacious and comfortable - We were greeted by Chris who showed has the details of the property. The property was large enough to accommodate our group comfortably. The house was very central to many of Cape Town's attractions.

- Simphiwe (9/5): Superb -
- Rouchelle (9/5): Superb -

- Philipp (9/5): Superb - Friendly Host! Comfortable flat in walking distance to the Waterfront, even closer to a good selection of coffee shops and restaurants in Green Point.
- Sunel (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location and everything you need in the studio Nothing - everything perfect
- sergio (10/5): Excelente alojamiento. Excelente ubicación - Excelente lugar, muy cómodo muy buen ubicado. Tiren cocina, refrigerdor, ventilador y un amplio baño
- Gary (10/5): Great - Outstanding room. Great location. Chris is very helpful for your needs.
- Edilson (10/5): MARAVILHOSO! - Perfeito !!! Excelente localização Recepção excelente !
- R.D.Crookes (8/5): Wessels Private Lane Studio - We had a wonderful stay. Nice location and quiet surroundings. A small downhill walk to a few restaurants and shops which are nice and accessible from our private studio unit. WIFI is available.
My only complaint is the kettle wasn't functioning and we generally got in a bit late to make a report to management as we were at The Chris Barnard Memorial hospital most of the time. The Wessels also very close to Water Front, convenient by Uber. Thank you to all Wessels staff.
- Lilli (10/5): Fin sentralt beliggende leilighet - Supert og rolig sted, sentralt beliggende og med nødvendig fasiliteter
