• SUSANNE (6/5): - surrounding property was beautiful. Room were old. Rugs were very used. Bed was clean. Couldn't get the TV to work at all. Upset because this was our down evening after doing so much for five days. Went to the office to see if someone could help, and no one was around at all. Next day we found someone to help and someone had taken the internet box. They took one from another room to get ours to work. We did our laundry and the laundry room was in much need of repair but managed to get some clean clothes. We had a wonderful breakfast in the motel. Huckelberry pancakes and bacon and coffee for two. $55 Quite a price for breakfast. We were told in just past to new owners. We wish them well and maybe after some fixing, they will be fine.

• Katy (6/5): - The room was dated, but clean. When we got there the computers were down so we couldn't check in. Which wasn't that big of a deal. Once the computers were up we checked in and went to our rooms. Then we went to the lobby for dinner, which there was an event going on so once we went in we could not leave and go back to our rooms. We went to dinner at 5:00 and the live music wasn't until 8:00 and we were not allowed to go back to our rooms, at all if we wanted to come back for the live music. The following morning we went to breakfast and came back to our room to freshen up before we left for the ride back home, but they had already checked us out of our room and cleaned it. (Mind to you this was well before the checkout time ) Overall was an okay stay it just seems like a lot of misunderstandings. I do not think we'll be back for an event or we will find dinner somewhere else so we can come and go until we are ready to be a part of the event.
• luke (10/5): Amazing place - This place was amazing. Service was fantastic. Sitting on the river i dont think you could ask for a better view. Very convenient bar/restaurant/gift shop as well. Highly recommend the huckleberry shake as well. Definitely want to go back for leisure instead of a quick stop through for work.

• Matthew (6/5): - For the price they are charging for this room, you would think it's a 4-star hotel, but it's not even close. The room was not aired out from a long winter and smelled like a wet dog and black mold. This smell went away after a couple of days with the windows open and the air conditioner on. Everything else about the room was clean and maintained. The mattress was out of this world comfortable, and the surrounding views of the mountains and the lake were outstanding. I would say that for the money it was sub par, but for a room it was livable.

• AmiLinn (2/5): - My children and I are covered in bites that resemble bed bugs. All of our dishes were dirty and had to wash them before we used them. Which They gave us hardly any dish soap. The Wi-Fi couldn’t be accessed from our room the parking was awful and there was someone in our spot the entire time we were there. We were blocked in several times and had to ask others to move their vehicles ( I have a 1 yr old and a 12 week old and this was extremely inconvenient to not be able to park by our cabin and for others to constantly block us in) the Roku remotes barely worked and the outlets and lamps in the second “bedroom” had no power. The “bedrooms” are actually 2 beds in the living room and another bed in what was a bedroom but the door was removed. We had a unit with no smoking but were next to smokers who blew cigarette smoke into our ac unit. Ac in 2 bedroom only blew slightly cooler air. Best part I’ve asked to speak to property manager twice now and haven’t heard anything.

Staff was more than accommodating since I was going to miss the check in time. Room was clean, decorated nicely and toasty warm (it had been raining and was cold). I can’t give a review on what the outside properly look like as we arrived late and left early the next morning in the dark. I would stay here again if I was in the area again!

There's a restaurant, grocery store, bar, and it's on the river but the size of the room is very small with a relatively small air conditioning unit. The rooms could use updating and the parking condition can be tough.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - The room was very nice and clean and had a rustic feel to it. The bed was super comfortable and the room was quiet even though the motel is on a major road. My only complaints are as follows: 1. They need to add safety strips on the bathtub floor. 2. They need to remove the chain on the ceiling fan which raps against the light attached to the fan all night long. 3. The motel's website lists that there is a restaurant on premises which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We found out when we got there that the restaurant is not open on Monday and Tuesdays and only opens the other days at 2pm. There are more than enough places nearby to eat at, but the website raised our expectation and the site needs to be updated.
