The garden is especially beautiful & very well maintained and absolutely gorgeous, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options and is definitely worth the money. Everything was fresh and well prepared, making it a great start to the day. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made our stay even more pleasant. What stood out the most was the staff. They are extremely friendly and always ready to help. A special mention goes to the reception team and the General Manager, who were very kind, professional, and supportive throughout our stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is located in a nice, clean, and convenient area. Highly recommended

The garden is truly like a heaven so beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. It added a special charm to the overall experience.
• Udaya Wickramasinghe (8/5): A Place to relax - Location was good although need a car to get to town. The immaculately kept garden and space around the cottages was the highlight of this hotel. Our stay included breakfast. Buffet limited in selection but we couldn't ask for more. Rooms were clean. Staff was great. Whenever we wanted anything like a refill of toiletries they were there to assist us in a flash. I cannot exactly remember if I asked for a quiet room during the booking. The 3 rooms we got was in front of the car park. It was noisy with cars, vans and even trucks loading a broken vehicle. It made or stay less comfortable. However I request 3 adjoining rooms which as honored.

Beautiful landscaping, perfectly maintained gardens, with an breathtaking view from the clubhouse was soothing. We stayed in the Queens suite with two huge bed, which was spacious and spotless. Having the opportunity to take join the Sinhala/Tamil New Year celebrations and games was an added bonus. Looking forward to go there again!

Das Badezimmer ist sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön mit herrlichen alten Bäumen und vielen Pflanzen und Blumen. Ich bin sehr froh, dass unsere Zimmer im alten Teil waren. Was mir persönlich nicht gefällt ist der neuangebaute Teil mit dem Restaurant. Irgendwie passt er nicht zu dem schönen alten Haus im Kolonialstil

• Ivana (8/5): - Das Hotel hat einen gewissen Charme und sehr schönen Garten, der zum Entspannen einlädt. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und reichhaltig. Ein Plus ist ebenfalls das Clubhaus und Gym im Hotel. Die Lage ist super zum spazieren und erkunden, für ins Zetrum ist man aber auf ein Tuktuk angewiesen. Das ganze Personal war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam. Durch das feuchte Klima und Regen hatte das Zimmer manchmal einen etwas abgestandenen Geruch, wo wir immer wieder gut lüften mussten.

Also nice that there is a bar and recreational area (games, pingpong, pool). Manager was very considerate. Good to know that tuktuks and taxi’s are practically unavailable in Nuwara Eliya after 22:00.

No hot water ( hot water stopped after 5 mins even though we allowed time for the geyser to heat up between showers). Hotel asked us to leave 10 mins gap between showers, however we gave it 20 mins gaps yet had to take ice cold showers which was absolutely disappointing and unacceptable. No bath mats considering the floor was cold and no hot water. No wash towels or hand towels. Only two bath towels were provided.

• Ciaran (10/5): A wonderful experience - The staff here are so attentive and so accommodating. It is a really wonderful experience to stay here because of the staff. Another aspect is that the gardens are so beautifully maintained and the heritage cottage itself is stunning. The rooms are spacious with a wardrobe space and seating areas and the bathrooms are ample in size also. The property is in a beautiful location and it is a lovely 20 minute walk into the town. The kitchen oven buffet evening meal and buffet breakfast which was delicious with a wide variety of choices.. I couldn't find fault.

• Magdalena (6/5): - This hotel was just average. The grounds and gardens around the hotel were beautiful and well maintained, but they can do a better job with the interior. The sheets had tears in them and the towels looked very worn. We were also informed that the wifi would not be working during our stay. All the rooms are located in one building, the walls are very thin so you can hear other guests talking and doors closing. Staff was wonderful!

They lit a fire for us when they don't normally because of our special request and made our stay so comfortable and always helpful and kind. The staff were veryyy friendly both the reception officers as well as resturant staff. Even the manager was very kind and looked after us very lovingly. We just soent one night but wish we could have stayed for longer but due to lack of time failed to do so. Would recommend ordering for a la carte menu rather than having buffet for dinner.
