• Mi Glauser (10/5): 3 Tage im Paradies - Schon bei der Ankunft sind wir freudig überrascht worden, denn unsere Gastgeberin hat uns ein Upgrade gegeben mit einer unglaublich schönen, riesigen Suite. Die Aussicht und die ganze Ausstattung der Suite waren wunderschön. Die Betten sehr bequem und im grossen Badezimmer hatte es eine Bodenheizung. Auch das frisch zubereitete Frühstück war ein Genuss. Unsere Gastgeberin, Siobhan hat uns einzigartige Tipps gegeben um die nähere Umgebung zu erkunden, das war genial. Wir haben jede einzelne Minute sehr genossen in diesem herrlichen Anwesen. Absolut nichts

• Sandra (10/5): Een juweeltje! - Op onze doorreis door het adembenemende mooie Ierland kwamen wij in Bantry aan. Wij hadden een kamer geboekt bij het Seafort Luxury hideaway. Wat een fantastische ervaring is dit voor ons geweest. Wij hadden de Swan Suite, een prachtige Suite. Ontzettend schoon, fantastisch bed met een heerlijk dekbed én een fijne badkamer. Maar het hoogtepunt van de kamer is de erker waar je in kunt zitten én een prachtig uitzicht over het water hebt. Gastvrouw Siobhan , is een zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw met humor. Bij aankomst veel tips gekregen over wat te doen in de omgeving. Het ontbijt is lekker en met liefde bereid. De omgeving straalt enorm veel rust uit en vonden wij het erg spijtig dat we na twee nachten helaas weer door moesten. Stom dat je na zo'n korte tijd gewoon een soort heimwee kunt hebben naar een plek waar het zo fijn is . Dat hebben wij gevoeld bij Siobhan en ook Sean. Wij zijn van plan om volgend jaar weer terug te komen en dan voor meer dagen. Nogmaals bedankt voor de gastvrijheid. Groetjes Sandra en Hans. Helemaal niets, dat we weg moesten.

The whole house is stunning, not to mention the outside space. The owner is fun and informative and makes a great breakfast, cooked to order. We’ve traveled a lot and seriously, this is the most perfect lodging we’ve probably ever booked. So yes, I guess that’s a 10 out of 10! There is no downside to this property.

It is the best guest house we have stayed in - ever. Everything was absolutely immaculate and beautifully maintained. Plus the breakfasts were freshly cooked. This makes such a difference to the flavour of the meal. I also loved the fact that there were the finishing touches in our room that other places lack. And a big plus for us was the superb coffee in our room & fresh milk provided in the fridge. What a way to start the day! When we visit Ireland again, Siobhan & Seafort Luxury Hideaway will be on our list of accommodation. Thank you Siobhan & staff for making us so welcome and our stay so wonderful.

Whether that is relaxing privately in the lovely rooms, possibly admiring the spectacular view over the bay from your private balcony or using it as a delightful base to explore Bantry and the surrounding area. Siobhan, the owner was very friendly and a mine of information. She went out of her way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Her hosting skills and eye for detail in the way the property is presented are exceptional. There is also an excellent restaurant for dinner (Donemark West) pretty much at the end of the rather impressive driveway that leads up to Seafort which I can recommend you book if you don't fancy driving or getting a taxi.

Siobhan went above and beyond, starting with great restaurant recommendations right after we booked to ensure we secure places to eat our dinners. She also picked us up from the bus station so we didn't have to walk across the town with our suitcases. When we arrived we found out we have been upgraded to a suite and it did not disappoint. The space was amazing, extremely clean and comfy, and had everything we could possibly need and more. We got a home cooked breakfast every morning, food was amazing, and the view is just gorgorgeous, either while watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee or watching the sunset with a glass of wine on the terrace. Amazing experience, the host was so nice and accommodating and we will for sure come back.

On occasion we have been disappointed but certainly not at this accommodation. Seafort was a wonderfully scenic spot to stay with a great host in Siobhan, breakfast choices, the full Irish was excellent, were aplenty and the room was clean and comfortable. A truly amazing place to sit and watch the sea birds of Bantry Bay. Nothing to dislike.

• Robert (10/5): You truly can’t go wrong staying here and relaxing. - Location and so many excellent restaurants. The best toasted bread in the world. We were forced to watch swans preening and mating from our room. Truly scandalous:)

• Andrew (10/5): Idyllic location, quite and luxurious property, close to Bantry town centre, lovely and comfortable - Rarely do we stay at accommodation that’s sets a new benchmark. Seafort did just that in so many ways. The property quality, facilities, cleanliness and comfort - just perfection. The host was like a friend who was so welcoming, gave us the space we needed, but was there to give us tips on trips and sites in the area whenever we needed it. The tranquil and stunning environment complimented the best scrambled eggs I had for breakfast! No hesitation in recommending this stay to anyone visiting West Cork!

• Nicola (10/5): Extended our stay, but wished we didn’t have to leave! - Boutique room, well equipped with more than you thought you needed, big windows & beautiful balcony showcasing an outstanding view. Attentive host, amazing breakfast as well as the opportunity to use their Kayak. Such a quiet, relaxing space, but within easy reach of all sorts of amenities & activities. Having to leave!

Siobhan is the most excellent, fun and helpful owner/host. Delicious breakfast to order. Short easy walk to town. The property is immaculate, modern and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay, and more. I can’t wait to come back.
