Also great for walking to sports games with a number of stadiums nearby. Employees are courteous and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Audi trial was a highlight, and saved us a night of rental and parking. One downside is that there is no business center for private conference calls, but for the leisure traveler, this would not be a problem.

Union Station and Coors Field are located in close proximity to the Limelight Union Station is a major transportation hub with railway tickets running $10 to the Airport. No need for an Uber! A short walk away, typically just a few minutes. Coors Field, the home of the Colorado Rockies, is also within easy walking distance, usually around a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel's location, with many places to stop and grab a drink or coffee! Great Atmosphere! Cool vibes and excellent staff. Acknowledged your presence and offered help at all times. Food at the bar and breakfast was super yummy and water and coffee were available throughout the morning and day. It's a bit pricier than most hotels in the area, but if you got the funds, stay here....it won't disappoint!

Location is right in the heart of everything downtown Denver-- you can literally walk just about anywhere you want to go (or bus very quickly). It is quiet and the views of downtown are nice. The restaurant on-site is fantastic! I have had breakfast, drinks/apps, and dinner there. It is a wonderful restaurant with great waitstaff and a variety of excellent food. I have stayed here twice and will again.

Cheers! - We stayed at the Limelight Denver for a family wedding in mid March; it was of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The staff members/employees were excellent, from the Group sales/reservation folks who accommodated us when we had extenuating circumstances due to storms that disrupted our arrival travel, and when we needed to do some room changes. The front desk staff members were gracious, very competent, and very welcoming. The adjoining hotel restaurant was lovely with great food, great place for people watching and our daily credit made it very affordable. I loved the decor, from the art on the walls to the wooden treatments on the wall, walls and ceiling in the guest rooms and common areas. The second floor Terrace was a sweet secret garden in the midst of the busy union station area. The fitness center was very clean, convenient and well equipped. The coffee maker in the room was good and the one in the lobby by the fireplace was great. The valet staff were awesome and super courteous. It was a lovely to walk around and look at the art on the walls throughout the hotel, including the birds by the first floor elevators. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and the ability to walk to shops and even get a hotel discount at some of them, take the train to multiple places and walk to restaurants and Whole Foods and CVS and then amble a short distance to the Bustsng station mere steps from the hotel and head for the slopes at the end of our week in Denver. Limelight Denver was a great place to gather the bride and the groom’s families together for a week of celebration and getting to know each other better. We had a blast and we shall return!

There was a candy leftover on the floor from previous guest and it was still there when I checked out. I need to request the front desk directly in order to have the coffee capsule being refilled (really?). The fridge is full of drinks (paid ones) and I couldn’t even put my own drinks into the fridge.

- bobdobilina (6/5): Good Denver option but fell short of its aspirations - I'm a little torn how to review this one. I could rate it as high as a 4, or as low as a 1, based on various mis-steps... but settled for a 3. I think most folks will have a good experience so just adding this to give folks some context if it's helpful. First off, by mistake, I made 2 bookings at the hotel (I only meant to make one, but didn't realize I had already booked when I made the second. I realized this 4 days out when checking my reservation. My mistake, and I certainly don't think they're obligated to, but they declined to cancel and refund the second booking (I was 1 day late on the cancelation period). Again, they're certainly not obliged to, but I thought exceptional customer service would do this, I was still staying after all and had just made an honest mistake. Second, I get the sense that many/most guests book through Chase Sapphire or Amex to get the various benefits (room upgrade, early check-in/late check-out, daily breakfast, $100 property credit), which are quite generous. We did get a slightly early check in (and were granted a late check out). They said no room upgrades were available. The breakfast and $100 credit are great benefits, but mostly apply to their restaurant Ajax. And this was a BIG problem. Front desk advised they were busy and that we should make breakfast reservations, which we did. But the restaurant was a bit of a disaster all weekend. We never saw it more than half full, but they were slow to seat and slow to serve. The kitchen and servers appeared to be working really hard, they just seemed very under staffed. On the second day, the host was totally flustered and was quite rude in her manner to guests (understandable given the chaos, but a nice hotel calls for grace under pressure). She was quoting people without reservations a 30-45 minute wait (and it seemed like most of these folks were just trying to use their benefits). The food was good. The hotel is nice. Has a cozy feel, not quite boutique but not quite large hotel. Rooms are nice, but quite small. Good bathrooms. Quality of materials seemed a little low to me. Room was in great condition, but I wonder how well it will hold up. Our base level room, actually had a nice view (a bit between buildings) onto the distant mountains. Fitness room was good, including Peloton bikes and a Tonal weight machine (as well as the usual cardio gear and plenty of dumbbells). Our stay was perfectly fine, but I thought it worth noting the issues we experienced so future guests can proceed with caution, or at least set their expectations accordingly.

Now would I say this room was worth $300+ I’m not so sure. Everything was so expensive. Even if we wanted to play a game it was $20, when at the store it’s less than $5. The room was super clean and felt inviting. I loved the robes, my body did not and it was not made for anyone over the size of Large. We felt like we were in a house. You couldn’t hear anything outside the doors.

It was our wedding anniversary and the staff brought us a bottle of Prosecco and some macaroons, very nice touch! The interface between Booking.com and the hotel. At first they wanted us to pay for our room, even though we already paid through Booking. Then at checkout they were going to charge the $30 per day amenity fee, but again we got that free through Booking.com. They were friendly, however, and worked out both issues.

Everyone was SO helpful & knowledgable. We booked through Chase “The Edit” and all the extra amenities were exactly as offered. Room upgrade, welcome beverage, nice surprise treat of Perrier & snacks delivered to the room, and the $100 property credit (which covered our $64 valet for one night … yep, a bit privy it’s downtown Denver at a high-end hotel). We also got $60 for breakfast/brunch that was the perfect price. Room was superior, HUGE shower (with great water pressure!) & soaking tub, comfy bed & great views (we had a corner room in the 7th floor). Very comfortable. Food in Ajax was great — definitely try the fried potatoes & sausage at brunch! Also, the free coffee machine in the lobby has all the options you’d like, including lattes, cappuccinos, and even hot chocolate! Great location right next to Union Station. Definitely recommend!!!
- donovani2026 (6/5): Ski Trip to Loveland - Wanted to stay in downtown Denver and drive up to Loveland for skiing. Be aware, restaurant opens at 7am daily and 8am on Sundays. If you have breakfast credit, you won’t be able to utilize if you’re leaving early since they open late and that’s the only way to eat on property. Other than that, the hotel is clean, and everyone was nice (except AJAX hosts)

Service... lacks urgency and at times aloof - Location is fantastic for Union Station + LoDo area and hotel is clean and design elements are awesome. We had a Suite on top-floor, and it was a wonderful room. Overall would rate the hotel property (physically) + amenities as 5/5 and worthy of the AMEX Fine Hotels & Resorts status this hotel has. This said, felt the service at this hotel was a 3/5 if rating it honestly, and the service did not match expectations of the 4.5* hotel status or being part of Amex Fine Hotel & Resorts compared to over fabulous properties that share that same designation. The service staff from the valet to the front desk and room service generally would be described as "chill" at best (but in a not good way) or aloof at worst. There is no feeling of a sense of urgency you would expect at a hotel at this (expected) caliber. The good news is the property could easily become a top hotel in Denver, but it will require the staff management to know what good looks like with regard to attention to detail and demonstrating urgency.

I’ve stayed at the Snowmass and Ketchum locations as well, and Denver carries the same stylish, warm, and welcoming vibe I love about the brand. A major highlight of my visit was Nick at the front desk. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind — the type of hospitality that instantly makes you feel cared for and sets the tone for the entire stay. Every interaction with him was a pleasure, and he truly represents the best of what great service should feel like. We had an excellent lunch at Ajax (the hostess with blue hair was so sweet), and our room service breakfast was delicious, quick, and beautifully presented. The hotel’s modern aesthetic is gorgeous throughout, making the entire environment feel fresh, clean, and thoughtfully designed. Overall, my stay was wonderful, and I would absolutely return. Highly recommend — especially thanks to the outstanding hospitality from Nick, who made the visit memorable.

Good location and daily discount if you eat in their restaurant. Right next to the station to the airport too! Service in restaurant not a match for the hotel. It’s pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Gym isn’t amazing but functional.

We booked a suite, and it was spacious, spotless, and uniquely designed with an amazing view of the city. We were greeted with complimentary spritz and beer on tap at the front desk, which was such a thoughtful touch. The valet service was excellent, and the hotel being pet-friendly made the stay even better. We also enjoyed an exceptional dinner at AJAX, located inside the hotel. The location is amazing, right by Union Station with plenty of entertainment, restaurants, and a park all within walking distance. Overall, a beautiful property with great service! I would highly recommend.

- gbs987 (10/5): Lovely stay. Will be back. - I stayed in October for a business trip. The hotel is conveniently located right by Union Station. Food at Ajax is great. Staff is very friendly. Nick at the desk was very helpful. The room is spacious and bed is so soft. Love that they are connected to the local community and offering a bunch of discounts to the local services. I was able to visit the museum of contemporary art Denver for free using the key card. It was only 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. They have coffee service in the lobby and welcome beer on tap :)

It also was a great location and close by Whole Foods and CVS for food and those items that you realize you forgot to bring. The rooms were great...clean, stylish, and modern. Nothing but a positive experience. Being there on business, I must add that the conference rooms and the experience with the staff while food was being served and general interactions with the staff at the conference was exceptional as well.

The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful. I had room service from the restaurant which had a nice delivery and was quite tasty. The location is fantastic as well. I would definitely stay here again.

It is one of the nicest hotels ever! A short, easy walk from Union Station, which was great as we took the A train from the airport. Union Station & area is delightful. It’s a destination unto itself and worthy of exploring. Many restaurants and shops. At check-in, a welcome beverage of sparkling wine or ale was offered! In-house restaurant was excellent with very fresh & delicious food plus great service. We had a quiet & restful night before we began our train trip to Moab. We highly recommend this hotel!! Wish we could have stayed longer & we would definitely return.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and everything I needed. Convenience to LoDo provided shopping and restaurants for distraction. I took the train from the airport straight to Union Station. The hotel is literally immediately adjacent to the station. Convenience could not be greater.I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are perfectly comfortable, with excellent beds and pillows, softest linens, and perfectly laid out large bathroom (with amazing shower pressure). The hotel has a lovely and comfortable lobby area as well as restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable, restful, luxurious feeling stay.

Unfortunately one of the glass cups in the bathroom fell and shattered all over the bathroom and entry way. - TiffanyPC (10/5): Great stay for Denver area concerts! - We really enjoyed our stay at the Limelight. Primary purpose of our trip was a concert at Ball Arena (within walking distance) and another at Red Rocks (catch the Red Rocks shuttle a block away). We booked with American Express and enjoyed an upgraded room, free breakfast that was very tasty and $100 credit which we spent on pre-concert cocktails. The Union Station location makes this hotel an easy option for people who don’t want to rent a car. Train direct from the airport to the front door of the hotel was $10 each. We could walk to most of the Denver area attractions. Several great restaurant options nearby. Comfortable clean room, friendly staff. Great vibe. Will definitely return.
- Echo (10/5): - We stayed at Limelight for 2 nights on a short trip to attend a concert at Ball Arena. Staff were just incredibly kind, courteous and helpful. ADA room was well set up, and genuinely accessible even in a large powerchair, with a great set up in the bathroom that did not require any wild navigation skills--this is something not all hotels excel at, so a good accessible bathroom can make or break my trip. The area surrounding was easily navigable on foot/chair with a grocery, stores, restaurants, and Union Station all right there. Ball Arena was about 5min away on foot/chair, completely eliminating parking lot hassle pre and post show. There is a nightly credit at Ajax- the onsite restaurant -but we did not use it. Parking at the hotel is a daily charge on the more expensive end, but it has in/out service with a great text messaged based system, so worth it.You can also text staff for concierge help, etc which is amazing.
- joerF4987JV (10/5): a chill stay in the heart of Downtown - stayed at limelight denver last weekend and honestly, the room was so chill 🙌🏼 super comfy bed, lots of light, and little touches that made it feel nice without trying too hard. also loved that it’s right by a bunch of restaurants and coffee spots, so getting around downtown was super easy.
- 81meganf (10/5): Beautiful Property in a Perfect Location - We had a wonderful stay at the Limelight Hotel in Denver. The property is beautiful, with upscale decor and an inviting atmosphere. The staff stood out for their friendliness, especially the front desk team, who answered all of my questions and were kind and flexible with our checkout arrangements. Valet service was also excellent: prompt, helpful, and incredibly friendly. The location was a highlight. We loved being within walking distance of some incredible restaurants. The Kitchen American Bistro for dinner and Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen and Bar for breakfast were both fantastic. We also enjoyed strolling through the nearby 16th Street Mall and appreciated the hotel’s free admission perk for the Museum of Contemporary Art. Our room was comfortable, and the view of Union Station was a nice touch. Overall, the combination of upscale vibes, great service, and unbeatable location made for a memorable stay. Highly recommend!
