Guest Reviews
- Lisa (10/5): Great location and charming place to stay. Nice Breakfast included. - Great location. They have wine for purchase at the front desk and easy access to town. The breakfast was great with fresh fruit and yogurt, and the kitchen staff made us a bacon and egg breakfast burrito. Very nice. Our room had a nice porch and hot tub. Very private and nice for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.
- Hanne (10/5): A very relaxing and happy stay, wish I could have stayed longer. - Everything
The inn is delightful and the staff was very helpful and so nice. The room was perfect for me, the breakfast outstanding. The cold and defrosted breads were not to my liking, but all others were so good.
- Richard (10/5): - Homey and very nice people. Room was a touch on the small side.
- Thomas (10/5): Happy Customer - The deluxe king room was luxurious and very clean. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well as filling.
- Michael (10/5): It was fantastic and everyone was nice - Beautiful Nothing
- nelson (9/5): Great place - The bed and room is very comfortable and homey The jacuzzi drain wouldn't stay upon so I had to sit there and hold it till it drained
- Donald (10/5): -
- christopher (10/5): -
- Gregory (7/5): A nice stay at a nice place with friendly staff - It was well-kept and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast staff seemed happy and were full of smiles, which was good to see. Room was smaller than I thought and the room was not decorated as well as picture shown on booking.
- Ryan (10/5): -
- Glenn (10/5): The front desk folks went over the top- friendly, personable and made us feel at home. Thes ladies were over the top! - Comfortable, quiet, clean! Great Breakfast - above all expectations!
- Martina (10/5): -
- Stacy (10/5): - Everything, such a cute and cozy inn! Breakfast was delicious, bed was comfy I slept so well (I'm usually a light sleeper when I travel but I slept like a baby!) We will definitely be back!!!
- Elizabeth (10/5): We can’t wait to come back and stay longer! - Located just off the Main Street, so quiet but accessible to shopping and restaurants. The innkeeper is delightful! The rooms are large and comfortable.
- Heather (9/5): A very comfy stay with tulips just a mile away! - Wild Iris Inn did their utmost to provide us a very comfortable and enjoyable stay! We were impressed how easy they made our late check-in, and how helpful the staff was with our questions about finding ice for our groceries. Our room was plush, relaxing, and quiet which was extra welcome after a few days of intense skiing. Breakfast was a varied and delicious delight each morning, served with plenty of fresh fruit and pastries, and a hot dish cooked to order. It was lovely to soak in our room's hot tub after an equally soaking day under the rain for the Tulip Parade, then sink into a nap after watching one of the movies from their copious DVD library. All in all, we loved our stay!
- burgess (10/5): - Everything and everyone was lovely. Thank you Sharon for the wonderful hospitality.
- Angele (10/5): Second stay. There will be more :) - Clean and quiet. Staff friendly. Breakfast delicious.
- William (10/5): Lovely place to stay! - Everything was lovely, clean, comfortable and close to town! Great staff, good suggestion for dinner in town and lovely breakfast in the morning! All was wonderful! No complaints!
- Debbie (10/5): - Clean. Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast. Bed really comfortable. The hot tub is a little tricky to get into.
- Hedda (10/5): -
- Michael (8/5): Comfortable room in a great location. - The room was good size and comfortable. The bathroom was nice. The location was ideal for exploring LaConner. The water temperature in the shower fluctuated from very hot to tepid warm quite quickly. You can tell that the bathroom needs updating. The breakfast was fine but not near as good as the last time we stayed at the Wild Iris.
- George (9/5): - Convenient location, very quiet, host was wonderful!
- Kimberly (10/5): Would stay again and definitely recommend to others. - Clean, roomy, great service Nothing
- Angele (10/5): -
- William (8/5): - location, food , comfortable, quiet, size of room a bit small but you can't control that. It was fine.

- Marlene Crank (10/5): - Liked the rooms very much h Nothing
- Carla (10/5): - The staff were exceptionally welcoming. Absolutely nothing.
- Rekha (9/5): Had a wonderful time at this property!! - Quaint, beautiful place with restaurants close by and great scenery around!! If there’s something I have to say, it’s that the breakfast could have had some veggies choices. It was hard to just eat eggs and so much of sweet things if we did not choose to eat eggs!!
- C'Dale (6/5): Cute place but not a good fit for me personally. - Cute place and very clean. Nice breakfast. Staff was very nice when you could catch them at the desk. No elevator., room was hot, multiple tv controls was unable to use tv. Most difficult was staff rarely at desk and unable to reach them at times.
- Sharon (10/5): - Loved the privacy of the back landing with the hot tub, the breakfast, and the fireplace in the room. It was all quite lovely. Weak water pressure in the shower was the only thing I noticed, but certainly very happy with our stay.
- Smith (9/5): - Room was small but very clean, cozy, & comfortable. I loved that you could make your own tea or coffee anytime in the common area. That was also a very inviting space. Breakfast was good & staff was friendly. Place is located within easy walking to eateries & shops too. It's very quiet & inviting.
- Anthony (9/5): -
- Paola (9/5): - Location
- Paula (10/5): Fabulous breakfast - Beautiful room and amazing breakfast. A perfect weekend getaway to see the flowers Nothing. It was great

- Elizabeth (10/5): My favorite hotel - I love this hotel. It's thoroughly modern inside but it has so much character. I love the fireplace and the Jacuzzi tub. It's the only place my 6'5" husband can actually enjoy a bath. We were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The bed was comfy and I loved being able to open the door onto a small balcony. It was a very romantic and cozy space.
The breakfast is excellent. We enjoyed the usual continental breakfast items, but the hot items were just delightful: fiesta frittata one morning, and baked blueberry French toast with sausages the next. I didn't get the room type I wanted originally, but they found another room for us quickly.
- Anne (10/5): My soecial retreat once a year! - I LOVE this cozy inn. The rooms are always sparkling clean, warm, and inviting. The beds are amazing and the other amenities are well thought out like the wine glasses and corkscrew and a nice tv with easy to access channels and a gas fireplace. In addition there is a tea bar in the lobby with hot water and hat drinks available all evening and fresh coffee by 6AM. On top of all that the breakfast is wonderful! Nice egg and bacon sandwich, good yougurt and delicious granola with fresh fruit. I come once a year to take a class at the King Arthur school and it’s my luxury treat to stay here.
- James (8/5): -
- Hager (10/5): - The jetted tub was everything you could want! The room was very clean and the staff were awesome. We will stay here every chance we have. It would be absolutely ridiculous not to stay here if you get the opportunity Nothing
- Joseph (10/5): Best relaxing get away and sleep. We have already rebooked. - View and sounds of nature. Front desk staff (Willow) helpful. Quiet zone sign in fireplace reading room. We used to go to a different inn in Laconner but their fireplace reading room often become a small teams party room. No small fridge or microwave in room.
- Lisa (10/5): We slept wonderfully. Felt very comfortable in the inn. - Staff was friendly and greeted us each time we came in the front door. Breakfast was delicious both days! Kitchen staff was top notch. Distance to restaurants and shops was perfect. Pillows were too lofty!
- Robert Michael (9/5): Tidy comfortable Inn. -
- Gardoqui (10/5): warm and inviting - lovely clean room & warm quilt
- Sheila (8/5): - Nice desk staff, fab breakfast, clean and comfy. It was so hot in our room. We kept trying to turn down the temperature, but it just would get hotter. Hard to sleep! Otherwise we loved this place.
- Usha R (9/5): - Everything was good! Enjoyed our stay at your inn so much, we decided to stay for a second night. The breakfast was wholesome; the room was cozy and Greg helped us with our questions. We always enjoy our visits to La Conner and this time we stayed! Thank you Nothing to mention
- Ryan (10/5): - Very cute set up feels like home. The vege fritatta breakfast was very delicious. As soon as you walk in you're greeted making you feel very welcome.
- Sarah (10/5): - Very comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Staff was lovely. Nothing
- Janelle (10/5): -
- alexis (6/5): - The Inn is nice, and our room was comfortable. I'm vegan, so I asked a couple of days before for a vegan option for breakfast (breakfast was included in the room rate). The staff didn't reply to my email and didn't read it either, because when I asked in the morning for a vegan option, they were clueless. All they were able to provide were 2 slices of toasted bread ( I added some jam that was already there, available for everyone), while other customers had a full plate of cooked food.
- Samuel (10/5): Great place to stay!!!! - Great staff, cozy room and bed, amazing breakfast frittata with hollandaise sauce and fresh fruit. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Quick walk to first street. Dvd selection was amazing in this modern day and we picked a great movie we haven't seen. Amazing place to stay.
- Lee (10/5): -
- jared (10/5): one of our best anniversary getaways ever! - We had the best bread pudding ever for breakfast. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We loved our stay. We liked everything.

- William (10/5): - All was great. Quiet, clean and a very nice breakfast. Good location to town and ferry
- Geoffrey (8/5): - Overall look and feel of the hotel, front porch, excellent breakfast, very nice and helpful staff, nice vibes There were a couple of maintenance issues with my room. The operable window was broken and had been replaced with an AC/fan. I would have preferred an open window at night rather than fan. TP holder was falling off the wall (an easy fix!)
- Sanford (10/5): -
- Buford (9/5): -
- Nancy (10/5): Awesome - Great place! Quiet, peaceful, friendly, great comfy bed & super cute place.
- phil (10/5): - Quiet, charming and relaxed atmosphere.

- Bentley (10/5): -
- Neil (8/5): -
- Brita (9/5): Comfortable, cozy stay in a quaint town - The property was a very comfortable and clean stay, with good amenities, free breakfast and helpful staff. We ended up opening the windows at night because the room was a little stuffy.
- Evgenii (10/5): - It was very cozy. We felt right at home.
- Darci (9/5): -
- Juan Diego Rodriguez F. (10/5): Beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. - The breakfast was outstanding, with a different variety of freshly made food every day that was truly tasty. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and took excellent care of us. Internet was slow on my computer and my cellphone, but it worked on the TV for streaming.
- Camille (10/5): -
- Jones (8/5): Relaxing - Was good. Limited time 8 to 9am Bed wasn't as soft as I remembered in previous visits.
- Teresa (9/5): - This is a very comfortable clean inn. The breakfast is a nice touch! The shower was out of body soap
- Darcy (10/5): - The breakfast was delicious. The Wild Iris is quaint, nicely decorated, clean, quiet, and walking distance to the main downtown area. We love a room w a jacuzzi or soaking tub on the outside deck. It is my go to when visiting La Conner.
- Cyndi (10/5): Breakfast was superb, even got the recipe of the breakfast from the staff - Cute and clean Parking was a small space
- Jennifer (9/5): Sweet Getaway Option - Lots of positives for this inn: great communication by management, lovely room with comfy bed, friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in and check-out, great breakfast bar with daily hot item, and walking distance to the cute little town of La Conner. We happened to be staying during a time the surrounding areas were experiencing floods. Despite the stressful time for local residents (due to the flooding), we received every bit as much service and attention as during normal times. All good! No negatives.
- Wolf (10/5): Most relaxing time - Very clean and friendly staff! It was so enjoyable, we were able to use the soaker tub on the porch in the evening(before quiet hours)
- Steve (10/5): Nice, clean, affordable and great breakfast! Thanks - Nice room and a really nice manager We didn’t get the room we wanted because the heating system was not working
- Mary (10/5): -
- Martinez (8/5): - The service and room The breakfast could use more options and more places to sit and eat
- Mix (8/5): - Clean, comfortable and great location. Loved the fireplace and the bed was great. Staff was wonderful. Even made me decaf coffee in the evening because I was disappointed that there were no beverages other than water available. No beverages offered in the evening, no freshly baked cookies or fruit available for guests and since it was a bed and breakfast, I anticipated a Nice home cooked meal. Everything, including the room, reminded us of a hotel. Everything was very nice it just did not scream bed and breakfast at us.
- Richard (10/5): - Breakfast was outstanding, room very nice
- Brent (10/5): Wonderful stay at a wonderful inn! - Breakfast was great, service was great, checkin was great, and it was very easy to get to downtown area for dinner. Altogether, it was a wonderful experience. We would gladly stay there again. Ice was hard to get to; the bags contained fused-together cubes that couldn't be separate without dropping the bag on the ground a few times (which ripped the bag). An ice machine would have been nice.
- Mutende (8/5): -
- Reynaldo (10/5): Great location - Staffs are great, breakfast was excellent None
- Mark (10/5): Nice place to stay! - Big, comfortable room with a fireplace and a Jacuzzi tub big enough for two. Free breakfast included. It would be nice to have a fridge and microwave in room, but they have coffee and hot water station in the lobby and a microwave down the hall.
- Mary (9/5): -
- Carey (10/5): We will be back soon! - We are repeat guests and we love the Inn. We are comfortable here and the food is lovely. The staff are always welcoming. A small thing, but I’d love to make coffee in my room.
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Marcus (9/5): - Room was clean, bed was comfortable and the jacuzzi tub might as well have been a full size hot tub. Check in and out was simple and quick.
- Nicola (10/5): Comfortable luxury in a homey setting - Wild Iris Inn is a delightful place to stay, just a few blocks from downtown La Conner. We stayed in the king room with the sunken jacuzzi tub on the deck… it was wonderful to soak in and watch the wind in the trees. The fireplace in the room was a wonderful addition for the fall nights. The staff were lovely and friendly - the breakfast bacon sandwich was exceptional!! We will return here whenever we are back in La Conner for sure! No complaints… it was all excellent!
