- Neil (10/5): We appreciated the quiet, old world luxury of this accommodation. - A wonderful old mansion, within easy walking distance to the town centre. Cooked to order breakfast was excellent. The spacious room had a great view over the garden and town skyline. Service given by our hostess was first class, and use of the comfortable living rooms was most enjoyable. Nothing we didn't like.

The house is set back & quietly gracious, inside the entrance lead light windows are magnificent, the formal rooms and billiard room elegant. The views that greeted in the morning peaceful. The wifi upstairs is slow, downstairs excellent. Upstairs we tagged to phones no problem when slow.

- Howard (10/5): Be spoilt in sumptuous surroundings. - The house itself was stunning with amazing gardens sporting enormous roses and a variety of other flowers spread throughout the large property and around the garden pavilion. It was originally the home of the local GP and has been tastefully restored and decorated by the current owner.
An amazing eclectic selection of art work adorns the walls with a number of chandeliers including one at the entrance made from Italian Morano glass.
Each room has very comfortable beds and a beautiful outlook over the stunning garden through the windows. The bathrooms even had very fluffy Peter Alexander dressing gowns and top end toiletries.
Breakfast was a sumptuous mix including a fruit platter and cooked plates of egg with a choice of a number of extras such as salmon, mushrooms, spinach and more and yoghurt, fruit, tea and coffee were available during our stay.
I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment we received from our hostess Maria and wish her every happiness for the future. Nothing!!
- Graeme (10/5): To the Manor Born! - Firstly, the accommodation in this heritage property is outstanding. Our host, Maria was very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a problem. - Sergei (10/5): - Oh, it was something extraordinary. We found ourselves in an old mansion with a lot of history. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night. Here you start to feel a bit like a lord, or more accurately, an important doctor, since this was his former home. Maria, a charming hostess who surrounded us with care, is in charge of everything. We also went platypus watching in the evening and morning. Several platypuses live in a pond five minutes' walk from the house.
- Alison (9/5): Relaxing - Beautiful location and building, welcoming host, and a delicious breakfast.
- Sheila (9/5): We enjoyed our stay and looked after very well. -
