Guest Reviews
- Paola (10/5): - .
- Angel (10/5): - Todo excelente
- Maria (8/5): - The hotel is beautiful and amazing enough quiet. It’s located in an area where there’s no vehicles allowed. You have to walk through the street and look for Cafe Italiano it’s the a small entrance for the restaurant Pacifico 303. The hotel and the restaurant share the same elevator with only one stairway to get up or down and only has enough room for one person to climb down at a time. One day we didn’t have hot water. Another day the elevator was out of service in the morning. The staff greeted us with long faces and only told us about the restaurant. Every time we walked in to the hotel we were stopped at the entrance and asked if we were guests or patrons. However, the view of the cathedral and the “Zocalo” was the best. Need anything ask anyone walking around. The people here are so friendly and will help you find anything you need including your hotel. I love this town! Shoutout to the cleaning ladies who were friendly and helpful.
- Olga Vanessa (6/5): - Convenient place right next to the Zocalo and Cathedral, lots of walkable shops and restaurants near by. The hotel itself needs to be updated, I’d say it was just ok, this is our second time there, but I don’t think we will come back, needs a little upgrade for sure. Last year breakfast was included, this year they took that feature out. Location is key in this stay but that’s it.
- Liliana (8/5): - Excellent, location and value.
Needs a little more cleanliness
- Richard (10/5): - The area was quite busy, with everything at your fingertips. EVERYTHING. With a view of the Cathedral, I was in awe. Cannot wait to go back.
- Laura (10/5): - Todo excelente
- Antonio (8/5): - The place is clean and very close to many attractions
- Luis (10/5): - Very clean bountiful view
- Salvador (8/5): - Good
- Daniel (8/5): - Little bit noisy but it calms down at night
- Juan Felipe (10/5): - Buena experiencia
- Hugo (10/5): - Excelente servicio
- Paola (8/5): - Only negative part was that my room was on the 3rd floor under their restaurant bar and you can hear everything until they close at midnight.
- Emilio (10/5): - Muy buen hotelito boutique
- Lara (10/5): Loved it - Great hotel. Right in front of the cathedral. Enjoyed the restaurant on the top floor. Spotlessly clean
- JOSE (10/5): - Everything
- Alejandro Juan (8/5): Muy bueno.
- Gilberta (2/5): - Eveeything was bad
- Norma Susej (10/5): - Un hotel lindo, súper bien ubicado y el personal muuuy amable. Hicieron nuestra estancia muy agradable.
- Abdolreza (10/5): - Location,location and location .!loved it.
- JOSE (8/5): - The room was very nice and overlooked the cathedral. It was a a beautiful experience, but the cleaning crew left dirty dishes by our door. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience. I recommend
- Jose (10/5): - Muy bien ubicada
- Federico (10/5): - Location was great!!
- Norma (10/5): - Everything was very good except the parking because you had to park to another place
- Raul (10/5): - Muy céntrico, excelente vista
- Rosa Elena (8/5): - La entrada está muy fea
- Juan (6/5): - Stayed here for 2 nights! The ac wasn’t working. There’s a restaurant lounge on the roof, so be prepared to not sleep if there’s an event going on during your stay. Nice small hotel. Staff was okay.
- ANNA (8/5): - The location is perfect but it is noisy
- Norma (10/5): - Awesome only the elevator didnot work
- Phillip S (10/5): Very welcoming - This is a small hotel across from the cathedral and steps from the zocalo and many dining options. The property has been very tastefully renovated. The rooms are small, but very comfortable. The shower was spacious and well-appointed. The hotel is easy recommendable for a comfortable and convenient stay in Puebla.
- Oscar (10/5): - Buena experiencia
- Benjamín (8/5): - Primero pondre lo malo.
- Qianwen (8/5): - Perfect location and staff is very friendly. Room was very big and very safe. Just a bit noisy during the night and fan is a bit loud.
- David (8/5): - Have reservation looked under Expedia as they don't use Orbitz. Bed supercomfortable and quiet. Great price for being right in center of city
- STEPHANIE (8/5): - The room was clean, super quiet. The elevator was not in service. Great location
- Joanne (2/5): Not as good as it used to be - When I arrived the front desk clerk was with a friend on the couch. I was ignored until I rang the bell! Totally unprofessional! Then She kept telling me my reservation had been cancelled! I had to show her a recent email confirming the reservation and that it was paid for.
- jose (6/5): - No había agua caliente disponible.
- Irma (2/5): - Like location
But personnel very unprofessional and rude
- ALEJANDRO LLAMAS (8/5): - Great location, easy access to main attractioons
- Cassie (6/5): - Stayed in the executive room with a balcony terrace… that’s pretty much what you’re paying for. If you’re not paying for that, find somewhere else to stay. Wifi doesn’t work, tv’s don’t work. Elevator will be not usable from 10 am - 10 pm because of the restaurant. Location can’t be beat.
- Albert (8/5): - Excellent location right in the middle of all activities and historical sites.
- Wan-Yi (10/5): Nice but has small quirks - The hotel is located in the heart of the historic city center. Directly across is the Puebla Cathedral and there are many choices of food and things to do within walking distance. The hotel was small and comfortable. Staff was friendly.
If you are taking large luggage then you will have to use the elevator but it only fits 3 people max. The stairs are very narrow so carrying something large will be more difficult. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The WiFi was incredibly slow and not useful during my stay. The TV took a while to connect to the cable box. The hot water did take a while to get going but once it got hot it remained that way.
- Williams (10/5): - We loved this place. It is right in the middle of where all the action is, yet it is quiet and convenient. Best of all, one of the incredibly best restaurants is located right above the hotel. The hotel elevator takes you to an amazing dining experience. Also, transportation is at your door, if you need it. We didn't, as everything is within walking distance. Great room and bathroom, even though it was on the small side. Wonderful room service. Clean and comfortable. We will definitely book this hotel again the next time we go to Puebla!
- Silvia (8/5): Small inexpensive hotel conveniently located - Nice little hotel conveniently located across the street from the cathedral and zocalo. The lobby is just a hallway. Our room had a king size bed and no room for a desk chair and no Windows at all. The bathroom was really small, but not big deal, we only stayed one night. I didn’t like the wooden floor inside the shower, I don’t understand its purpose, I wonder if they even clean under it. Also, you could smell the toilet freshener in the entire room, really annoying smell. There’s a restaurant on the top floor with a nice terrace, but we dint have a chance to eat there. Make sure to eat at Don Pastor restaurant, just a few steps from the hotel.
- Lucy (2/5): - Staff was rude did not help with luggage, restaurant was not good the only good thing was the view. I would not recommend this hotel
- gery (10/5): - location, location, location
everything was there. music , food , shopping.
we loved puebla and the hotel!
- Alicia (10/5): - Everything was perfect
- Albert (10/5): - Great Location, Outstanding Views of the Cathedral and Zocalo, lots of restaurants, bar and attractions, beds are so nice and rooms are cozy! Elevator and concierge were great add-ons! Coming Back
- Mario (6/5): - Room was clean, maybe too clean. We walked into the room and we felt like we just walked into the pine sol factory. I mean, the smell was so strong 😷 we had to open the window and turned the fan on while we went out to dinner. Came back and the smell wasn’t as strong but come on, take it easy on the cleaning solutions. We decided to stay only one night. The view with the balcony was nice though.
- Leonardo (10/5): - Would be great to get coffee machines or vending machines somewhere
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent service and location.
- Michael (10/5): - Loved it . The bed was so comfy could have stayed in it all day. Very very clean.Great location.
- Lori (2/5): - The hotel canceled the reservation. Stated problems with electricity. They booked us into another hotel. The hotel was close in proximity. There was no heat in the room. There was no hot water.
Terrible.
- Shane (10/5): - Amazing room and views. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.
- Victor (10/5): - Great service overall
CERO recomendado.
///
Terrible experience. Rooms are way too small. Only a few of them (the most expensive ones) have WINDOWS. The others, are squares with no natural light. The "lobby" is a mini corridor which allows 2 people at the same time. Terrible idea if you get there by car. They have no parking lot, so you have to get your stuff down in the middle of cars and people insulting you for obstructing the street. Staff is VERY nice, but it's clear that the owners have no intention of hiring more people: the guy that meets you on the street, is the same guy that gives you the room and get your luggage to you.
Not recommendable AT ALL.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was perfect , Excellent detail of the hotel, breakfast was served at 8 am and we had to be at the airport at 8, very friendly prepared a take-away lunch, the Attic Restaurant has the best view of the cathedral
I will back again in December I’m inlove with Puebla
- Sarah (8/5): Great location- but don’t lose your key! - We loved the location of this hotel - right across from the cathedral, and our room had a small balcony that looked out onto the cathedral. We didn’t even request such a room - they just gave it to us! The bed was very comfortable. The negatives were that the room and bathroom were both very small and the bathroom had a smell of toilet-bowl cleaner that wafted out to the room if you didn’t keep the bathroom door closed. At one point my husband lost his room key (one of those plastic programmable ones that all modern hotels have.) He got a new one and didn’t think about it again. But when we went to check out, they said we had to give back 3 keys or pay 200 pesos (about $5) for the lost key. Luckily he was able to dig in his bag and find the lost key, but it left a bad taste for the hotel there at the end. Those keys are worth about 10 cents and we felt it was poor customer service to try to make us pay.
- John (10/5): - Excellent location, beautifully decorated. Staff is excellent. Wonderful experience. Restaurant is one of my favorites in Puebla
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautifully designed rooms on the Zocalo - Beautiful, modern design of rooms directly across from the cathedral. The staff is friendly, helpful, and very customer service oriented. Marianna was particularly helpful to us during our stay.
- Mary (10/5): Hotel Stay GEM! - This was the perfect hotel for our visit to Puebla. Upon check in, hotel team upgraded us to a room 2nd floor with a view right across street to Cathedral!! Apparently I had booked room with no view. Nice surprise! Staff very helpful. Very clean. So close to Zocolo, restaurants, and walking around historic district and museums. Friday nights, there's a 15 min projection show on Cathedral. Watched from our room. Highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I LIKE THE HOTEL LOCATION JUST IN DOWNTOWN, EVEN WHEN IS FEAURED AS A BOUTIQUE HOTEL IT HAS NOT THE FACILITIES WE ARE USED TO, NO ROOM SERVICE, NO SLIPPERS AVAILABLE, .....
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location is ideal and can walk to so many museums, restaurants, beautiful churches, etc.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Fantastic location in the heart of the city. Room is nicely decorated, clean but very small room and has no windows. Good breakfast. Weak wifi. If you can get a room with window facing the cathedral it would be perfect!
- linda jane (8/5): - Location is amazing. Room is very tiny, overlooks the cathedral and plaza. No morning coffee, had to walk two blocks to Oxxo for coffee. Otherwise, great!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This small hotel is well located right across from the cathedral; however, only 4 out of the 11 rooms have windows. The rooms are small and the beds very large, leaving very little space for furniture and luggage, and there are no coffee makers. The wi-fi hardly ever worked, forcing us to rely on the coffee shops nearby. There are cheaper hotel alternatives a block away. We wouldn't stay at Casa Rosa again.
- Joan (10/5): Perfect location - Perfect location. Just be prepared for a wait for the elevator to get to your floor or the restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly.
- James (8/5): Awesome Zocolo Location - Great location, comfortable room, great rooftop bar/restaurant. Small, cozy hotel, nice getaway. Only negative was the valet parking can be a little slow, so plan ahead on dropping off/getting your car. Overall, great experience and I would stay there again.
- Joanne (10/5): Best little hotel in Puebla - Their staff is friendly and welcoming, as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a welcome back and nice to see you again! Casa Rosa is a hidden little gem with one of the best views in Puebla! Right across from the Cathedral, it is so beautiful when the sun goes down and the lights go on. I just love sitting out on the balcony and watching the action on the streets down below. A tiny little hotel, they do a great job of making their guests happy. Attico 303 is their resterant up on the roof terrace. Food and drinks are very good!
- Gen (10/5): Great hotel in an excellent location! - My stay at Casa Rosa was excellent! The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful, they were able to accommodate an early check in and an extension of my initial reservation. The room was decorated very tastefully and everything was very clean upon my arrival. The views of the cathedral were also a great bonus. If you are planning on exploring the downtown Puebla área than this hotel is the perfect location as it is close to everything and is directly across the cathedral. I will definetly recommend this hotel to any friends and family visiting the area. Thank you for the wonderful stay!
- Matt (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Jessica was so helpful with everything from directions to places in the area to transportation. Nice clean hotel, perfect site for enjoying Puebla by foot.
- Victor (10/5): - Great hotel in a great location
- Louis (10/5): Comfortable and great location - Great location, soundproofed windows, great view. Beds one of the most comfortable Ive experienced in Mexico.
- Lily (10/5): Charming Hotel - This hotel is located in the Centro Histórico, across from the Catedral...however, double paned windows cancel any noise from the street if you stay in a room facing the Catedral. The rooms are tastefully decorated with all modern amenities. The hotel restaurant/bar located on the rooftop is a must! It offers superb food and the views are absolutely beautiful!
