• Steven (8/5): - Lovely boutique hotel, very lovely staff, nice and quiet, not many bars, but good massage places. Early Morning Roosters were a bit annoying from the surrounding properties, that’s not the hotel’s fault. Lots of Halal and vegetarian options around. No restaurant or bar in hotel, no breakfast available. Be prepared to get Bolt everywhere. But, this should not detract from the overall value and location of the hotel. Some mould in the room, but it’s a very good room, basically we had a pool to ourselves from the swim up Room 104. Everyone in the hotel, staff and guests all very respectful, there were no children also. It is close to the beach, but it’s not like Rawai beach which is more picturesque. Enjoy this hotel, it is truly lovely to stay.

Staff are very friendly but sadly not all staff speak english so we have the usual thai issues of claiming to understand when they dont. No fault to them, i dont speak thai. But, if i worked in an international hotel, id prob learn!

Our Executive deluxe Seaview overlooks looked a bunch of warehouses and a mud beach. The bathrooms were not cleaned and they didn't even provide toilet paper. Overall the property is not at all as it was represented in the images. Not recommended unless they properly cleans thoroughly and make repairs

We called and they were very gracious to hold our room and even approved late checkout. My family and I had a peaceful and enjoyable stay during a time of so many uncertainties.

• Anders (6/5): Never again - Vi har de senaste tre åren semesttrat i Thailand på olika Resorts. Vi har alltid valt ett "Lugnare" billigare ställe för att acklimatisera oss. Kravet har varit bra pool, och poolområde, rent, och med "bra" betyg. Vi anlände och incheckningen var snabb och smärtfri, hon som checkade in oss talade begriplig engelska. Vi fick dock bara en nyckel. Rum med balkong mot poolområdet. Det var rent, men luktade avlopp i badrummet pga uttorkad golvbrunn. Toalettstolens spolkanaler var skitiga när vi kom och under hela vistelsen. Rummet i övrigt och sängen var helt ok. Poolområdet: Som alltid var poolen och poolområdet mycket mindre än vad fotografierna gett sken av, men i detta fall hade fotografen gjort ett mycket bra jobb 😕 Poolen var liten och det fanns endast 12 solbritsar. I övrigt var poolen ren och vattnet fräscht. Men varför stänga av poolen varje dag mellan 11-13 eller 13-15 för rengöring? Varför gör man inte detta morgon/kvällstid när inga gäster badar? Frukost: Vi åt frukost ett par gånger bara, trots att vi betalt extra för det, den var ganska torftig. kaffet i kannan var bland det svagaste mest odrickbara jag upplevt. Lunch/bar: Vi beställde lunch flera gånger, deras spring rolls och Club sandwich var helt ok, Carbonaran och PhadThai var smaklös med små portioner. Deras service var långsam vi fick vänta 20-30min på mat, drink/öl. Avslutningsvis: Droppen var när de fotat lakanet och krävde ersättning för min fru fått sin månatliga period på natten Vi kommer inte tillbaka

(this hotel offers free shuttles!) The pool is awesome and the overall condition of the hotel is good. The BEST part about this hotel is the staff! Super friendly, always eager to help, really made our stay amazing. Would highly recommend!

I was able to visit the surroundings and some islands not as near, even though there is not much to do close to the resort. Consider you need to have a way of transportation or book a taxi in order to move through Phuket. The pool is very big and has enough room for children so you can swim comfortably in the deeper area. The view to the beach is beautiful, though the beach itself is not great for swimming. Overall the experience is fantastic, ans is just improved by staying at this hotel at its nice staff. I would definitely come back.

Dusting of the furniture never happened. Bathroom has mould that’s never treated. The restaurant is average with only 2 menus, if there’s more than 2 tables others have to wait for the menu. There’s never enough pool side banana lounges. Around the hotel are shanty housing which was unpleasant.

Food is not very good that is the only down point but lots of restaurants along the beach that were delicious. We made full use of the free shuttle bus and the free peddle bikes around rawai beach.

If you want to go somewhere you might like to go you will take a 40 minute taxi ride. The beach which is 150 metres from the hotel is nothing more than a mud flat. The stakk were friendly, no restaurants on hand, the hotel provides food but we wanted an outside experience..and there is none. Unfortunately I have to say there is no way we would return to that place. The remote location kills it

• Verified traveler (6/5): Not a 4 star hotel IMO - This hotel is more like a 3 star hotel. Rooms are clean, the pool is fine, but I wouldn’t necessarily label it a 4 star. Maybe 3.5. First, the location is not so good for a family that can’t drive a motorbike. We had one, so it wasn’t an issue, but given the price of taxis on Phuket, the location would hinder a lot of families from enjoying themselves. The breakfast was just ok. The staff smiled and got along well with each other, but I didn’t find them smile at their guests or seem friendly enough. Also, I found the staff’s English ability at a low level. The staff spend a lot of time talking to each other, but I thought they had some problems interacting with customers and they didn’t appear interested. When they did talk, they rarely smiled and some had problems communicating in English and could rarely make a full sentence even with broken grammar. As I was coming from the pool one afternoon, I noticed two of the front desk attendants watching some sort of TV show/movie on their computers. I thought it looked unprofessional as their heads were down and absorbed in the computer. I feel the hotel needs a regular manager, as it seems like the staff could be more professional and provide better service. In summary, the staff took care of mostly everything we asked, but I think they need training in customer service, English, and a manager is needed to keep everyone in line. The hotel has potential for sure.That’s just my opinion though, maybe we hit them at a bad week.
• Evan (8/5): Pretty good, but inherently noisy. - Pretty nice place. Staff was good as well. Only problems were broken a/c in workout room and the loudest doors I’ve ever heard. If people come back to rooms late you’re in for a treat. The doors naturally slam producing a ridiculous noise throughout the floor. Woke most of us up at 2:43 am as one couple came back to their room. Very surprising

Aqua Resort is a good base for travellers looking to spend their days on beaches and activities with a nice pool to relax in before heading out for the evening. Your own transport or taxi money is essential for staying here.

It is a good price but you may need transport to access nearby beaches & restaurants as the shuttle is infrequent. Staff is extremely friendly & helpful. As it is booked a lot by coach tour companies who book a bulk of the rooms, the pool can be very noisy in the mornings if you like to have a lie in bed (I think all rooms face the pool).

We got a room with a sea view but all the room views was terrible, we could see some messy storage and very old houses rather than enjoying the sea view. The street was not clean and even we couldn't go for a walk. We choosed this hotel because of using the gym, however gym was very poor with no air condition. Also hotel is too far from airport, patong and all tourists attraction place.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice hotel. Close to beach, but not the sunbathing play in the ocean type beach. Fisherman beach. Play beach is about 20 or 30 minutes away. Still a lot to do in the area and would book the hotel again. Amazing pool. Amazing room. And amazing staff.
• Sean (8/5): Nice hotel, not sure about the location. - Great hotel but it is in the middle of nowhere so took a bit of time to find things - especially decent local eats etc. If you just want to stay in the hotel, then it’s fine. You can’t swim At the beach outside either.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Comfortable stay but not worth it - This is a 3 star hotel at best, not 4 star as advertised. It looks fairly new and clean for now. The room/bed/AC/shower/pool are good. The staff is friendly and helpful. However, it is in the middle of nowhere. It costs 200 baht to get to the nearest restaurant in a taxi and 300 baht to the beach. They had a shuttle (3 times in the day over the Christmas period) to the nearby beaches. We used it to drop us but after waiting 20 minutes for a pickup that never turned up, we decided to not rely on it for pickups anymore and paid for taxis instead. In any case, the last pickup is 5:30pm which is too early to return from the beach as there is nothing to do in or around the hotel.
• Ralph Tauran (8/5): Great hotel in the quiet part of the island - Would recommend if you want to be in a clean and modern hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the popular beach scene. The view of sunrise from your room is spectacular. The is surrounded by local residencies and is very near to a 24 hr pharmacy and minimart. The tourist beach of Rawai is about 5 min by car to the south. A larger supermarket, money exchange, and a few upscale restaurants are 10 min walk north. Don't let it keep you from buying fresh fruits like Rambutan, and Lychee from the local street vendors. Eat the Durian and Mangusteen fresh on the side of the road as the hotel does not allow it in the hotel for obvious reasons.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Young traveller’s review - Amazing stay at a nice hotel. Breakfast was filling and included. Rooms were comfortable. The views from the rooms to the beach and overlooking the pool were also very nice. Only downside was there’s not much in the area besides massages and cheap food but it’s easy to rent a scooter and go anywhere. The beach by the hotel has great views but not really usable to layout. Also - room key issue if you’re trying to get two keys should be fixed but overall great stay!

• Zydra (10/5): Perfect hotel in calm area of Phuket - It is really nice and new hotel. The hotel is located in calm area, about 50 m from main street so you won't hear the noise from the street. Breakfast was delicious. The staff was very helpful. The pool is great and it was a great alternative for the sea because the beach close to the hotel is not attractive
