- Marie (5/5): - Le lit était très confortable, nous avons très bien dormi. L'hôtel est très beau et dépaysant. Le service de l'hôtel n'est pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. L'hôtel étant à côté de la plage, nous nous attendions à un coin un peu plus privilégié sur la plage, ce n'est pas le cas. Les transats sont plus proches de la route que de la mer et le bar de plage n'a jamais ouvert (dommage car le bar de la piscine n'est vraiment pas tout près). Les matelas de la piscine mériteraient d'être changés (sales et déchirés...) En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner, les spécialités vietnamiennes sont très bonnes (goutez le Cao Lâu) mais le reste est quelconque. Outre la qualité du petit déjeuner le personnel n'est pas accueillant, ni souriant et ils ne débarrassent pas les assiettes (à l'extérieur en tous cas). Le jardin est très beau et bien décoré avec des lampions de Hoi An, en revanche les jardiniers nous ont réveillé dès 8h30 avec leur tondeuse... Les chambres sont petites et très mal insonorisées, et les balcons ont 2 chaises, sans table (pour les chambres à l'étage côté lac). Nous avions 2 petites bouteilles d'eau et si l'on en veut plus, elles sont payantes, il n'y a pas de fontaine (il faisait 33°C ressenti 42...). Nous savons que les standards 5* ne sont pas les même en France qu'au Vietnam, mais nous avons fait 4 autres hôtels 5* ici et il n'y avait clairement pas la même qualité de service. A noter que le prix était très correct (~160€ pour 2 nuits).

- Elizabeth (10/5): Relaxing, beautiful resort with the best staff and accommodations. - A beautiful getaway in Hoi An with a relaxing atmosphere made us feel entirely pampered. The resort was beautifully designed in a traditional way, but still clean, spacious, and comfortable. Landscaping and design were gorgeous, especially the tropical trees, lagoons, and koi ponds. While the resort had many guests, it never felt crowded. The staff were exceptional, available to assist whenever they could. I was traveling with a large multi-generational family and staff were extremely accommodating and hospital to our unique, occasionally even challenging, needs. Vian was especially helpful to our stay there and a gem within guest services. A highlight is the breakfast buffet with an impressive stations for bread and pastries, appetizer type foods, salad bar, yogurt and fruit bar, and coffee bar. Don't miss the SECOND room with hot traditional Vietnamese dishes rotating daily (Bun bo, banh beo, congee, tapioca dumplings) and made to order eggs. While some hotel spas are overrated, spa services here make you feel like a VIP. I also attended the spa with a hot stone massage and coconut scrub and felt amazing afterwards. The prices at the restaurants for lunch and dinner were a little high. I think this is understandable given the costs to run such a large resort.

While everything had been cleaned to a basic standard, the room had a musty smell and the pool grout was dirty. - Roberta (10/5): Peace, Comfort and Beautiful Surroundings - The Spa Pool was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. It is an adults only pool where silence is encouraged, and we really appreciated the thoughtful choice of opening the larger, more central pool to families and groups while reserving the more elegant one, still a full 25 metres long, for guests seeking peace and relaxation. The setting is lovely, nestled between the canal and the beach, which is only a two minute walk away. The rooms were beautiful, very clean and perfectly quiet, with extremely comfortable beds that made it very easy to rest well. The management is of a high standard. Perhaps a little less personal than in some of the smaller places where we stayed, but this is also a large five star resort. Despite its size, it still manages to maintain an exclusive and selective atmosphere. The restaurant was pleasant, though the food did not quite live up to the otherwise very high standard of the resort.

Svært god service gjennom personale som virkelig fulgte opp. Vian sjekket jevnlig inn på WhatsApp og passet på at vi hadde det bra! Flott frokost og restaurant i naturskjønne områder. Kjapt til stranden - 100 meter nedenfor. Masse restauranter på stranden og i nærheten. Med Grab har du alt innen rask og kort rekkevidde.

Wanted to have treatments but ended up going elsewhere. Beach bed area small. Would have been nice to have drinks/food here. Bedroom windows should be more insulated and blinds should be black-out.

It’s not really walkable in to town, probably a little further out than ideal but grab are very easy. I try to book hotels with fitness facilities when I’m travelling for a longer period and the treadmill didn’t work so that was a bit sad

- Fatima (9/5): Magnifique resort, calme avec de magnifiques chambres et personnel - Superbe resort, notre chambre donnant sur le lagon était magnifique avec une jolie petite terrasse et impeccable. Il y a 2 magnifiques piscines extérieures, dont une au calme près du spa. Super bon petit déjeuner avec des plats locaux différents tous les jours. Navette vers le centre de Hoi An à 10min. Personnel super sympa et très professionnel. En bonus, les photos du site correspondent vraiment à la réalité. On ne les a pas utilisé mais la salle de fitness est très sommaire avec 3-4 appareils et la plage privée (très propre) est egalement basique avec un bar désert ou je n’ai vu personne et peu de sièges.
- Oli (7/5): 4 night stay at Koi Resort - The location was stunning with the river and lagoon and so close to the beach. Really cool place. The food was great too and breakfast had a huge choice and was very fresh. Staff especially management and reception and housekeeping were super friendly and welcoming. The pool/maintenance man was also lovely. Great they also had a quieter pool by the spa. Some staff in the restaurant were less intereactive/attentive and we saw the same staff often so they may have been over worked potentially. Food and drinks were a little pricey but only compared to cheap restaurants and bars elsewhere so higher prices at the hotel are expected.

There missing a trick by not having full time staff at the beach bar. Had to wait 20 minutes sometimes for someone to turn up. They also need to get the beach bar running.

Very attentive staff and a nice atmosphere in the resort. There are steps to most areas, so it wasn’t suitable for my partner to join me due to a broken leg.

- Kiara (8/5): Paradijsje met beperkte verouderingstekenen - - Prachtige locatie, paradijselijk - Vriendelijk personeel dat (voor Vietnam) vrij goed Engels spreekt - Zeer professionele SPA met uitstekende Vietnamese massage en aromamassage - Groot zwembad met proper water (wel wat verouderd: randen gebarsten, in zwembad zelf ontbreken er tegeltjes, bepaalde ligzetels gedeeltelijk kapot) - Grote kamer met mooie douche en bad - Zeer groot en comfortabel bed - Uitgebreid ontbijt met live cooking - Tuin zeer mooi onderhouden (je ziet dat het personeel er alles aan doet om het proper te houden en dat is geen evidentie met al die details) - Onze kamerdeur klemde enorm waardoor openen en sluiten moeilijk was - Weinig stopcontacten (1 defect, geen enkele aan bedzijde) en lichtschakelaars op onlogische plekken in slaapkamer - Zwembad verouderd (zie opmerkingen hierboven) - Geen gratis afternoon tea - Water in badkamer wordt zeer traag warm - Bad loopt zeer traag vol (20min tegen dat bad gevuld was) Voor 5 sterren is het een prachtige en comfortabele plek maar er zijn wat tekenen dat het domein zeer moeilijk te onderhouden is.
- viktor (2/5): - здесь понравиться не может ничего, кроме завтрака. очень не удобная планировка комнат. на первом этаже ощущение как будто в яме. темно и сыро..запах спрея от комаров. мебель черная и мрачная. кровать посредине комнаты. у двери на балкон висит телевизор. аккуратнее, можете стукнуться головой. перила на балконе гнилые, но покрашены. с наружи не видно, а прислонишься, хрустят. осторожнее. посреди отеля, за бассейном, находится огромная лужа, которую они называют озером. номера с видом на это озеро стоят дороже. номера у забора, на 1м этаже темные. везде в отеле идёт ремонт. постоянно что-то долбят режут шлифмашинкой. пляж есть, но купаться нельзя, сильная волна. бассейн хороший. и рыбки красивые возле ресторана. отель себя позиционирует как пятизвёздочный, но это не так. дают одно ножное полотенце на двоих. совсем недалеко есть новый, настоящий пятизвёздочный отель. мы там жили перед этим. Nesta Hội An Resort & Spa. это супер. а здесь даже велосипеды ржавые. отель дорогой, и не стоит потраченных денег.

The free and regular shuttle bus was much appreciated , just a 10 mins ride. Also have a great pool and private part of Cui Dai beach oppposite . Staff are so helpful and cannot do enough to help .Gardens were so pretty and manicured . Difficult to leave it !!

- BP974 (10/5): Ne retenir que le positif 🙏 - Le cadre était magnifique 😍 et très propre, la chambre bénéficie d'une belle superficie. Côté salle d'eau très belle prestation avec au choix le douche à l'italienne ou la baignoire (un gros plus) pour l'établissement. Le personnel est très à l'écoute très gentil et poli. Pour le petit déjeuner le choix est très large tant bien en sucré que salé, le café au choix entre le café Vietnamien ou l'Americano, le fromage, les yaourts enfin un large choix très copieux 😊🙏 Alors, ce que j'ai le moins apprécié c'est le restaurant du soir j'ai attendu quasiment 20 minutes avant qu'on vienne prendre la commande ensuite le service s'est fait en temps convenu jusqu'à la note ou bien entendu les tarifs affichés sur la carte ne sont pas TTC il à fallut rajouter 15% de taxe supplémentaires déjà qu'à la base c'était une fois et demie plus cher que l'extérieur. Mais bon c'est dommage pour eux surtout car à mon avis si les tarifs étaient équivalent à ceux pratiqués dehors il auraient beaucoup plus de clients au restaurant les soirs et les midis, après cela n'engage que moi. Celà dit le repas était tout de même bon bien entendu

- Gerhard (9/5): Empfehlenswert - Sehr gute, bezaubernde und ruhige Lage in unmittelbarer Strandnähe und gute Verbindung (inklusive Shuttles) zum Zentrum von Hoi An. Gut ausgestattete Zimmer in reizvollen Bungalows entlang verzweigter Flussarme. Personal sehr bemüht und freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert als Rückzugsort, um ein paar Tage Hoi An und Umgebung zu erkunden. Das Restaurant liegt zwar sehr schön in Poolnaehe, kann aber leider bei der Qualität der Speisen nicht überzeugen. Das sehr freundliche und bemühte Personal bedürfte einer besseren Anleitung und Unterrichtung durch das Management. Letzte Bestellungen um 22 Uhr ist ein zu früher Zeitpunkt, da es keine weitere Bar gibt.

I actually liked the beach, the resorts beach area could do with abit of an upgrade but understandably it is a public area, but the beach has soft sand and was generally clean. The gardens and plants were SO luscious. The old town shuttle was a welcomed service. The breakfast had a good selection but the flavours lacked. The main pool structure was very not to my taste and the tiling round the pool had a lot to wear and tear. The spa was also very underwhelming the jacuzzi was cold and steam room was very intermittent.

- Elmar (10/5): Leben auf einem gut durchlüfteten tropischen Inselparadies - Das Ressort liegt auf einer sehr gepflegten Insel mit einer wunderschönen seit 2017 eingewachsenen Bepflanzung. Ich habe mich rundum wohl gefühlt und mehrfach verlängert. Die Farbgebung der frischgestrichenen Bungalows und Nachtbeleuchtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und dezent. Das gilt auch für die Zimmer. Die Betten sind sehr bequem. Nachts ist es totenstill. Man kann die Fenster komplett abdunkeln. Die Klimaanlage ist leise und effizient. Ich habe weder Moskitos noch Gerüche durch Feuchtigkeit erlebt. Der tägliche Gang über die Flussbrücke mit der frischen Seebrise war ein Genuss. Mit dem Scooter oder dem kostenlosen Hotelfahrrad habe ich die Altstadt schnell über die tagsüber wenig befahrene Hauptstraße oder über die Reisfelder gut erreicht. Ab und zu habe ich den Hotelbus benutzt und bin mit einem Grab zurückgefahren. Der wunderschöne und saubere Sandstrand ist über die wenig befahrene Straße schnell zu erreichen. Ich war fast täglich schwimmen und danach in dem organischen geformten Pool. Von allen Stränden hat mir der Strandabschnitt des Koi Resorts am besten gefallen, auch wegen des Blicks auf die Chau Islands. Das Gym ist klein, aber mit wunderschönem Blick und mit ausreichenden Geräten ausgestattet. Es gibt außer zum Tet-Fest keinerlei Animation, was ich sehr begrüße. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist üppig mit einem sehr abwechslungsreichen Angebot. Wenn ich Abends im Resort gegessen habe wurde ich nie enttäuscht. Die Mitarbeiter im Resort sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich habe mich mehr als ein Gast gefühlt. Von den vielen Hotels die ich besichtigt habe, ist das Koi Resort mein absoluter Favorit in Hoi An. Das Koi in Da Nang kann da nicht so gut punkten. Hier komme ich gerne wieder zurück. Das WLAN in meinem Bungalow ist wirklich nicht gut. Mit meiner Saily eSim für 10 EUR konnte ich mir aber helfen, da ich als digitaler Nomaden auf das Internet angewiesen bin, wenn ich nicht gerade in meinem Coworking Hub Hoi An bin.

We didn’t hear anyone else the whole time we were there. It’s so quiet and relaxing. There’s two pools. A wonderful restaurant and the staff are great. They did a buffet one evening while we were there for which we were charged 700,000 each. You can eat out in Hoi A for 400,000 for 2 people including cocktails. Felt this buffet price was way too high.

- Marco (9/5): Schönes Resort - perfekt für Familien - Das Hotelteam war extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Die Anlage ist sehr schön angelegt und ruhig mit einem großen Pool. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut, die Zimmer waren sehr geräumig und sauber mit bequemen Betten. Mit dem Transferservice in die Stadt kann man in wenigen Minuten unzählige Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen.

- Andre Louis (8/5): Family stay in 3 Bedroom Villa. - 3 Spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Tranquil and peaceful stay. Beautiful grounds. A shuttle service to town. Netflix and YouTube. The indoor pool is not heated, as a result, it was too cold to use. The main bedroom has a bath but not a shower. The unit has a kitchen but no crockery, cups or glasses. The TV in the lounge is old and the picture is not clear.

When you start using the things you notice in what a bad state the items are. The balcony door handle came into our hands when we tried to open it and the wood of the outside chairs was rotten that it broke as soon as I sat on it.Leave ample time to check out as reception sent someone to check that I really left the key card in the room.
