Mais le vrai coup de cœur, c’est le personnel : d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours souriant, attentionné et disponible. Merci encore pour cette parenthèse, on repart avec de très beaux souvenirs de Koh Tao !

Die Lage ist gut, jedoch sollte man auf jeden Fall einen Roller mieten. Die Roller kann man in der Unterkunft zu einem fairen Preis mieten. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden.

• Ulrich (7/5): Good, but not as it should be for the price - Nice view, the area is beautiful, swimmingpool as well, friendly workers, friendly stuff, comfortable bed, a good situated place on the island to go (with Scooter) wherever you want. Silent place. The bathroom seems to have seen his days, clean but a bit used, toilet seat a bit loose and too small, water in the shower not really going away… hope they improve it, the price was too high for the offer.

• Keith (10/5): Great property lovely pool and surroundings, fabulous staff - Great property and location, lovely pool and gardens. Everything you needed in our well equipped Garden Villa. No Electric socket in the kitchen area worktop so the kettle and toaster had to be plugged in on the floor. This was a minor point that didn't hugely impact our stay at this lovely property.

• Anja (8/5): Moderne Zimmer und schöner Pool - Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Anlage insgesamt gut in Schuss gehalten. Die Zimmer waren sauber, hell und recht neu. Der Balkon mit einem wäscheständer war praktisch um die Badesachen zu trocknen. Ein Supermarkt und verschiedene Restaurants waren ganz in der Nähe. Der Pool war sehr schön, sauber und groß genug zum schwimmen. Es gab genügend Liegen und Sonnenschirme und stets frische Pooltücher. Die Zimmer waren sehr hellhörig, die Einrichtung einfach und ohne Deko. Es gab zu wenig Ablagemöglichkeiten. Für die doch recht schlichte Ausstattung war der Preis eindeutig zu hoch.

• Raimund (8/5): - Das Resort hat uns überaus freundlich empfangen. Die Villa ist schön gelegen. Der Pool ist komfortabel mit guten Liegen und Sonnenschirm. Für Frühstück und Abendessen gibt es eine große Auswahl - fußläufig zu erreichen. Wir konnten den Shuttleservice zu einem Ausflug zum Sairee beach nutzen, mit Rücktransport um uns die hohen Taxipreise zu ersparen. Als wir wegen eines familiären Krankheitsfalls leider unseren gebuchten Aufenthalt halbieren mussten, hat das Management eine kulante und faire Lösung vorgeschlagen. Herzlichen Dank ! Wir empfehlen dieses Resort ausdrücklich es ist ein Hort der Ruhe und Freundlichkeit ! Nichts

• Iris (10/5): Perfect! - I had such an amazing experience here! The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were perfect (big, comfortable and clean). The pool was really nice. The location was walking distance (15 min) from the beach and some nice restaurants (5-10 min). I wish I could have stayed longer. The road is quite steep, but it brings a good view! Also I wished they could have kept their reception open for a bit longer. Maybe until 19:00 would be perfect!
• Maj (9/5): - Sehr hübsche Einrichtung des Zimmers, und es war sehr sauber, vor allem auch das Badezimmer was mir immer sehr wichtig ist, die gesamte Anlage sieht sehr schön und gepflegt aus, der Pool ist super, ich habe auch einen Discount bekommen als ich das Zimmer zu einer Villa gewechselt habe, man muss eine längere Auffahrt hoch aber darum ist es auch sehr ruhig

We were welcomed by the friendly and helpful reception staff with a cold drink and cooling face cloth, exactly what was needed after the ferry ride. They also arranged for our scooter hire straight away. All the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. For us the location is perfect; ideally you do need a scooter but this is because Woodlawn Villas is outside the town set in lovely grounds in a very peaceful spot, just the sounds of nature, and is an excellent location for exploring the best beaches on the island. Our 1 bedroom villa was very clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. We would highly recommend staying here. Nothing

• De Rammelaere (10/5): Lovely hotel & lovely people - We loved our stay at Woodlawn so much we extended it! From the person picking us up at the pier (with the biggest smile ever), to the funny & friendly receptionists and always helpful & smiling ground staff, everyone was so kind. Our room (201) was very spacious and clean, with a perfect working AC & fan, nice shower, a big comfy bed and a balcony overlooking the palmtrees and little squirrels. The pool was a bit murky upon arrival because of the rain, but they fixed it right away and it was fixed the next day. Although there is no restaurant, there are delivery menus in each room from a couple of restaurants who deliver at your doorstep and a lot of good restaurants, brunch and coffee places in walking distance. Apart from that, the resort also has a QR Guest Info Brochure with restaurants, viewpoints and beaches listed. There's a shuttle service upon request and Chalok beach is just as 10 minute walk away. As mentioned, the resort has a Dive Shop (Chalok Reef Divers - which are amazing!) that also uses the pool (when there are classes, it's just 1-2 hours around noon, and they just use a corner of the pool). We also loved that it's in a really peaceful and quiet area, surrounded by nature. Compared to the new / good Quality furniture in the rooms, the sunbeds by the pool could use an update (and some extra sets).

• Alessia (1/5): Nice resort but holiday ruined - As nice as the resort itself was, our stay was overshadowed by one receptionist. Before arriving in Koh Tao, I researched scooter rentals and found a woman with over 100 five-star reviews. I contacted her and arranged scooters for my partner and me. Everything went smoothly when we picked them up — she was friendly, honest, and professional. However, when we returned to Woodlawn Villas with the scooters, the receptionist immediately warned us about the rental owner, saying “she is big trouble and we’ve had many problems with her.” She initially claimed she was following the owner’s instructions and that the owner did not want that company’s bikes on the property. When I politely explained that we had already met the rental owner and were happy with her service, the receptionist suddenly became extremely aggressive, shouting “I don’t want her bikes here!” She told us we were not allowed to park the scooters on hotel property and would have to leave them at the bottom of a very steep hill outside the resort. We were staying in Villa 3 — the furthest villa from the road — so this was completely unreasonable. When I asked if she was seriously telling us we couldn’t park at the hotel we had paid for because of her personal issue with the rental company, she continued yelling. After several minutes, a younger receptionist came out and calmly told us we were absolutely allowed to park the scooters at the hotel, making it clear this was not actually a hotel rule. The situation was so uncomfortable that we considered moving hotels. Later that day the younger receptionist apologised and offered free massages, which we appreciated. However, the receptionist who shouted at us never apologised and avoided eye contact or greeting us for the rest of the week. When we returned the scooters at checkout, the rental owner explained that her sister used to work at the hotel but no longer does, and that the receptionist seems to have a personal issue with them.

Refrigerator and A/C were so loud that even earplugs disn’t help. Also you can hear through walls. It was like living in the cardboard box. No breakfast

• Siegfried (10/5): "The perfect island getaway with high standards, exceptional service, and the best diving perks on Koh Tao – just m - This was easily the most beautiful accommodation of our entire journey! The resort is exceptionally clean and maintains a very high standard. We stayed in a villa with a kitchenette, and a standout feature was that the electricity stays on 24/7—meaning the fridge stays cold and devices can be charged while you're out. The staff were extraordinarily friendly and helpful; the ferry pickup and on-site scooter rental were seamless. A huge bonus is their cooperation with Chalok Divers (who are absolutely fantastic and professional!), providing discounts on Open Water and Advanced courses. Also, ignore older reviews about the pool—it was clean, inviting, and in great condition during our stay. For nature lovers: watch the fruit bats in the large tree next to the Family Villa at night! The only "negative" was that we had to move to a different accommodation entirely for one night because the resort was completely booked out. This was 100% my own fault for not booking early enough! My advice to everyone: Book as early as possible so you don’t have to leave this beautiful place even for a day.

The room was clean, spacious, and the resort was an amazing retreat. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. The pool area was relaxing and well-maintained. Location was quiet and peaceful, just a short ride from all beaches and local restaurants.

Der Pool konnte während unseres Aufenthaltes leider an zwei von drei Tagen aufgrund der Wasserqualität nicht genutzt werden. Die Liegen am Pool waren in keinem guten Zustand. Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer hat nicht richtig gekühlt.
• Vicky (10/5): Lovely stay in a clean and comfortable room - We loved our stay here - so many things to love about this place! Everywhere is super clean (bedroom, bathroom and pool area), the staff are lovely and helpful, you get fresh water every day. The location is in the quieter part of the island and near some great restaurants in walking distance. The grounds are immaculate and they have a dive team on site so you can try diving for free if you haven’t before which is such a nice touch! We loved having a balcony and were so thankful for a comfy bed / pillows. Really hard to think of anything we didn’t like - only things to note is that, the properties and reception are up a short hill. But had a motorbike so wasn’t a problem but just something to look out for.

Staff was kind and flexible Walk from room to pool is quite long and uphill. Our friends had issues with the AC and th lock of the window, but we were ok. • Imke (10/5): Ein idyllischer Ort abseits des Trubels um runter zu kommen. - Es ist sehr schön gelegen, ein wenig innerhalb der Insel, dadurch ist es ein wenig ruhiger und entspannter. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und auch gerne aus unserem Zimmer ins grüne geschaut. Das abholen am peer hat super geklappt und wir konnten sogar früher in unser Zimmer einchecken und direkt vor Ort ein Roller mieten. Man wurde sehr nett begrüßt und es wurde einem immer geholfen. Das Bett ist sehr bequem und die Dusche auch sehr gut. Die Anfahrt zur Unterkunft mit dem Roller ist aus Schotter und steil, das ist aber nach einigen Malen fahren eigentlich kein Problem mehr.

• Lily (10/5): - An amazing hotel. We were beyond happy. Beautiful grounds- the pictures seriously do not do it justice. The pool was fantastic and Sunny was extremely helpful. You can rent bikes from here too and they are super chill and the whole experience was fantastic. If we ever visit Koh Tao again, we will stay here! The room was absolutely perfect and had the comfiest bed.

• Annemiek (9/5): - Mooie en nette locatie en onderkomens. Het zwembad was ook heerlijk en hier werden gratis duiklessen aangeboden voor gasten van het resort! Het enige nadeel is dat het erg stijl was op het resort. Mensen die slecht ter been zijn worden hier niet blij van.

• Alizee (10/5): Nous recommandons - Piscine agréable Personnel sympathique Vous pouvez aller à pied à shark bay et freedom en moins de 30 mns à pied si vous ne voulez pas louer de scooter Lieu idéal avec des restaurants et commerces Nous étions dans les chambres et celles ci sont grandes ! Vous pouvez entendre un peu vos voisins rentrer mais entre les chambres ce n’est pas dérangeant

• Ignacio (7/5): - Todo bien! Me alojé en una superior room. La habitación es grande y la cama muy cómoda. El agua caliente no funcionó bien todos los días lo cual es un punto a revisar teniendo en cuenta el precio de la habitación. Hay servicio de limpieza cada dia y lo hacen muy bien. La piscina es bonita y al menos durante mi estancia no había prácticamente nadie. La zona es muy tranquila y está todo bastante cuidado, lo recomiendo. Es probable que vuelva.

• Lena (8/5): - - nettes Personal - super Tauchschule - tolle Lage - Betten ungemütlich und quitschen bei jeder Bewegung - Zimmer extrem hellhörig, man hört einfach alles
• Manon (9/5): Schoon en fijn appartement - Mooi, schoon familie appartement. Prima zwembad. Aardig personeel, schoonmaaksters werkte zelfs onze afwas weg, elke dag nieuwe flessen water, 2x per dag gratis shuttle naar de pier. Helaas geen mogelijkheden tot eten of drinken bij het resort. Veel trappen en hoogteverschil, dus minder fijn als je niet goed ter been bent.
