The surrounding streets are dirty but the property itself is quite clean and well maintained. Amazing RESTAURANT services!

Bruce (1/5): Inhumane - I let them know my wife would arrive 2 days ahead. Paid in advance. Stated her name clearly and got a confirmation by them. On Feb 28, 2025 when she arrived with our ONE YEAR OLD BABY they talked down to her in her native Swahili. They made her wait one hour in the lobby. Helping 2 other clients while she waited. Then put her in a room that is UNDER CONSTRUCTION with wet concrete, concrete dust and paint fumes. These conditions are toxic to humans and especially babies. After crying & protest she had to wait longer for a room that was dusty. After getting a room that was habitable the front desk women continued to be cold. This kind of inhumane service should be avoided.

Esther (3/5): Expected better - The taxi service was reliable and they were very friendly and compassionate with our flight delays. We booked it for a night between connecting flights, especially this hotel for the mosquito nets. Sadly our room didn't have one, the air conditioning was also broken. The staff was friendly but it was difficult talking with the staff doing the night shift in English. They also told us that we should take the taxi to the airport at 6am for our 11:45am flight because of "traffic in the morning". The taxi only took 45 minutes and we could've had a lot more sleep. The assortiment for the breakfast was also not that great in comparison with other budget hotels we've visited. Also quite a lot of noise from outside the hotel at 2am.

Katabazi2 (10/5): Exceptional - The Silver Paradise Hotel is a perfect stay for a jump into town or to catch a bus to other parts of the country. I appreciated the complementary shuttle in the early morning to the buses. The facilities are very nice and many above-average touches for TZ. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is located in a busy and local area. Lots of local noise and semi-rough roads but that's not a major issue. That same location has the benefits of putting you right where you need to be to move around town or to your next destination. Would highly recommend for comfortable beds, cool AC, good food in the restaurant, excellent staff and location. The only negative thing I have to say is that it is located in a busy and local area. Kyanda (7/5): Pleasant although brief. - But i liked the room and the facilities. Personally i liked the men who picked me up especially one who was good at conversation. We talked at length. I was also able to see some major parts of the city. But i liked the room and i had paid for myself and my colleagues. Unfortunately i only visited the room for a short while. Before i settled in my colleagues asked to move to a different hotel. They did nit like the location. So we got a condominium instead. There should have been more shown in terms of location. They suggested that maybe the place should serve better as a place with apartments.

Very noisy, and the staff were a bit slow in room service, so I opted to get things from the restaurant myself. Traffic to the city centre was crazy. I won't recommend anyone to stay there if they are to commute to the city centre for business in the morning.

Malefu (7/5): The property is as was described, the location was a bit difficult to find. We got what we paid for - The room was spacious enough. The bathroom design was not ideal as we had to wear flip flops all the time to make use of the bathroom. We woke up a little late and there was not much variety for breakfast; we would suggest a refill of food to make sure all guests get good food. The bed was also short, we had to sleep facing the other way.

I arrived and was welcomed by the hotel manager. Next day there was another manager, Mr Adrian, who harassed me to the point that I decided to shorten my stay. Even the staff there noticed that he was on my case. Not sure why, maybe because I am a woman and was there by myself without a male by my side and perhaps he doubted I could afford to pay for my stay. Or because he doesn't trust white people. No clue why. The location - lots of street noise. No mini fridge in the room.

Martha (8/5): It’s a comfortable hotel, just try to stay mid-week or maybe request a room away from the noise. - It was close to the bus station, the rooms were super-clean and well-appointed, the staff was helpful and nice, and the breakfast was pretty good. Reasonable rates. Not the hotel’s fault, but there was a party going on outside until the early morning hours. It was LOUD. Even with earplugs, it was loud. However, I was given to understand that it only happens on the weekends. I was there on a Saturday night.

Alex (10/5): Good hotel with friendly staff - The airport shuttle (15 USD) was perfect. This is not a 5* hotel, but it’s absolutely very good value for money with good rooms and a decent bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful with organizing some things. We got the feeling that many foreign tourist stay in this hotel, but it’s good enough to meet the western standards. It’s close to the main Dar es Salaam - Morogoro highway, so it’s easy to het out of the city with a rental car. The breakfast was simple, but sufficient. The same for the WiFi: not strong, but it works. The area of the hotel is typical for a big African city.

We stayed there 24-26/8 why we can say how it is there. The attitude of the front deck personal is not proper. They laugh at customer cause of proudness. That they cant accept the councelling after 15 minutes ehen we got to know that our buss is not going from their neibourhoid but from busstation 15 km outside of town.

The room is good with a big space, I enjoyed staying there though there was a noise from neighbours (hotel/pub I think) they play loud music and made me to sleep late because of that. The room is very neat big thumb up to the staff. The hotel is very good and luxurious but I dislike the location (though I can not be able to change that) but you need to speak to the owners of the nearby hotels, they need to install the sound proof to avoid disturbing others with their loud music, bearing in mind that, the enjoyment of the rights ends where the rights of others begin. Hotel need to work on that for the sake of Silver Paradise Hotel customers.

The amenities were great and the cleaning staff and bell hops were awesome, however the receptionists and restaurant wait staff were very lazy and unfocused on doing a good job. They are typical of what I see in Dar es Salaam and other Tanzanian hotels in general. They just stand around, talk to their co-workers, and wait to collect their salary. Their motto is "Hapa sio kazi tu!" Work is of no importance to them. It's frustrating as a guest to see this and get bad service in addition.

Bed was comfy, they had AC, TV but not really any English channels, extra touch with complimentary toothbrush and paste. Two large complaints. The neighborhood is LOUD at night with live and recorded music playing at insanely high levels...the windows don't block any noise. And the wifi is so weak that all my devices repeatedly gave up on trying to load. The menu for the restaurant is full of the funniest misspellings I've seen in my travels! And the food is pretty good too
