Zeigler (10/5): - Not a mega occupancy facility. We did a walk out beach unit. Great experience. Wonderful beachfront not overcrowed. Next door beach louges were lined up like cord wood. Close to rverything, yet very quiet No elevator. Better to pack smaller luggage easier on stairs.

The room was also pretty nice size and the balcony view was gorgeous. I wish the rooms were updated a little bit more and sound proof. The room next door blasted the tv all night.

They completely disconnected it. Then we had no kitchen light. Kitchen was nasty. No kitchen towels. Had to clean it up. My husband has a special diet. We seldom eat out. Kitchen was not as expected. Difficult to cook in. Had to buy cooking utensils at Walmart. Attitudes of office staff was deplorable. We left a day early because we were fed up. Will not go back. You need to go see what you are recommending in your website! See above

The sheets and beds had a lot of stains. It was obvious they didn’t change the sheets. Even they smelled. Also, saw spiders and insects in the beds and rooms. Also staff, in case of emergency don’t expect them to act at all.

mariee (5/5): Room location was great. - We ended up in a beach walkout room which was great you were just feet from the beach especially with a toddler this was a plus. And the shower had very hot water which was nice. The property seems very ran down, staff seemed kinda absent, room was dirty the day we arrived ( and didn’t get cleaned our entire 5 day stay, neither did the bedding), bathroom had a smell no matter what we did it wouldn’t go away even with the vent going 24/7. Room has no rugs/ mats so the floor stays very slick as well as the stairs leading to the rooms, my husband ended up actually slipping down the stairs after a light rain.

Wilson (10/5): Best stay ever... - The location of our beach walk out room was fabulous...even tho the hotel was packed..the vibe was cool and peaceful...the staff upon checking were wonderful....the service at the bar was great....booked our next trip for next month ..already... lots of clean towels provided.. Only negative was we couldn't stay longer ...

Sherry (6/5): I love this vintage hotel but it definitely needs work. The beach was beautiful! - The location. Easy access to beach and pool. My room had several floor boards missing. The toilet seat needed replacing. There was a light fixture that was missing the cover. Paint spots on side table. The shower leading from the beach to the property was not working, missing nozzle. These things should have been repaired in the off season, it’s now May. They wee busy replacing some flowers and redoing flower beds. There was no blow dryer . The dispensaries in shower were all empty.

Melissa (7/5): Friendly staff and easy beach access. - Staff was very friendly. Easy check in and check out. I had a beach walkon room which gave me direct access to the beach from my door. This was nice because I did not have to bring excess items to the beach and I could easily run back to the room if I needed something. It is an older establishment, so yes there needs to be upgrades. However, one recommendation for improvement would be security around the premises and the cleanliness around the stairs. Also, there was alot of sand in my room upon check in.

Joshua (2/5): A complete disaster and disappointment on the property and Booking.com! - The location is the only positive of this hotel. It’s poorly maintained, non-cleaned rooms, and a general feeling of unsafe lurking around. In our room, they left the bedbug chemicals they sprayed AND there was no bedding. The bed covers had piss stains on them! Was told from the front desk that they spray every room for bedbugs daily. The bottles state they are hazardous to humans. Tried to cancel our reservation and got the run around between the property and Booking.com. Each said I had to contact the other. In the end, I got an email confirmation that the property refunded the reservation to Booking.com and now I have to somehow call Booking.com to get my money returned. Which Booking.com does not have a Customer Contact number in their app. But I’ll figure it out. DONT USE BOOKING.COM FOR HOTEL RESERVATIONS… That’s what I learned.
Lacy (1/5): Manager did not care about the safety of the residents - We arrived to the hotel and checked in and we immediately noticed the strong mold odor, the room had a balcony attached to it. The balcony door was cracked open when we walked in, my fiancé then walked on to the balcony and immediately noticed the railing was not attached nor anchored as well as the balcony floor collapsing. We immediately got off the balcony and told the front desk and asked for a different room, the front desk told us we could not change rooms without paying a cleaning fee or a fee for a new room nor get a refund. We then called code enforcement to ensure that no other families would be hurt or injured because they failed to close down/ fix the room. After code enforcement came and deemed the room unsafe, the manager then called my fiance and said since he called code enforcement and the room had to be shut down he would have to leave the room immediately or the police would be called without a refund or a room exchange. He then accused him of prying the door open but as I said before, the balcony door was already cracked open, with no locks, preventatives, or instructions stating that it should not be opened.All we wanted was a different and safer room for the price we had already paid and in return the manager kicked us out and threatened to call the police because they failed to provide a room that was up to the Bay County code standards. The manager of this hotel does not care about the safety of their customers, this situation could have ended extremely poorly and thankfully no kids or other families were or have been injured.
Michael (6/5): Die Lage am Strand ist es trotzdem wert. - Die Lage ist toll. Nur ein paar Schritte aus dem Zimmer heraus und man ist am Strand. Das Reinigungspersonal ist anscheinend unterbesetzt und überfordert. Als wir in das angeblich eincheck-bereite Zimmer kamen, waren die Betten nicht gemacht. Also zurück an die Rezeption. Wir sind dann mit einem Getränke-Gutschein versorgt worden und mussten noch einmal länger darauf warten bis wir ins Zimmer konnten. Dann konnten wir endlich ins Zimmer. Aber die Handtücher fehlten. Also zurück an die Rezeption. Etwas gewartet, weil es auch bei anderen Probleme gab. Dort einen Stapel bekommen, den wir aber nicht kontrolliert haben. Unser Fehler. Erst beim Duschen nach dem Sonnenuntergang ist aufgefallen, dass es sich nur um kleine Handtücher und Badteppiche handelte. Also schon wieder an die Rezeption. Lange gewartet, weil es immer noch bei einigen anderen Probleme gab und nur noch eine Person an der Rezeption war. Das Personal gibt sich wirklich Mühe, aber vielleicht sollte das Management das eine oder andere besser organisieren.
Teresa (2/5): If the rooms would have been clean, it would’ve been a perfect stay, but the mow in the mildew made me sick and I’m stil - It was very convenient to be on the ocean. The pool was nice. The rooms were not clean. Our floor was black. I smelled mildew and mold. Look like it has not been cleaned in weeks. Convenient to shopping and the ocean.
Nash (3/5): - The closeness of the beach Bathroom tiles were not glued down. Could lift them up. Bed was hard as a brick. Had no body wash and conditioner since check in and the shampoo was basicly empty. Got room clean then again the next day and towels were just thrown on bed not sure why they did it back to back. Wife found a razor blade just lying on floor where lil kids were at. Didn't get the room i paid for and couldn't swap to the room after I found out. Half the lights didnt work
Cierra (5/5): Nice for the convenience and view, just a few cosmetic things could have been upgraded. - The distance of the beach from the hotel was nice, location for shopping was really convenient. The staff were excellent. Hated there was no elevator. The beach front walk out room that we had was not clean, sand and hair in the bed upon arrival. The dresser was falling apart.

The hotel itself is a charming building with reasonable rates and friendly staff; the views and direct beach access are superb, and the cleanliness is evident—it is clear that the rooms are regularly serviced. However, due to wear and tear, some of the furniture and the bathrooms leave something to be desired. Our room also lacked a dining table, which caused some inconvenience; yet, considering the cost of the sea-view rooms, you tend to overlook these minor flaws, as the large windows allow you to simply sit back and enjoy the magnificent scenery. There were cockroaches; and although the room was clean, the hotel itself was very old—something that was palpable. It was difficult to sleep due to the bed, there was no table in the room for eating or snacking, and while the bathroom was clean, its appearance was rather frightening.

David (3/5): - I booked the room on booking.com, and when I arrived at the hotel at 7:00 PM, three hours after the listed check-in time, I was told there were no rooms available and they would call me when my room was ready. I said it would be a few hours before I could come back and was told that was ok. I left to set up for an 8:00 event I was assisting to put on, and at 7:40 the hotel called and asked me to come back and check in. I told them I couldn’t do it because I was about to start a show. I was told they would cancel my reservation as a no-show if I didn’t check in. I had to check in online and finished minutes before the event started. In addition to these problems, the room needed renovations and the bathroom was not clean. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

Had to put a key to it to get the door handle to turn to shut. Room 110. There is a rug outside but wish there was one on the inside as well to keep down on the sand.
Hope (8/5): Overall a decent stay for a good price! - The views were beautiful and we really enjoyed the beach access. The pool was advertised as heated but the water was super cold. Colder than the ocean water.

Katrina (9/5): Overall a really good deal for the money! We will book again. - This is an older no frills motel style room. We had a beachfront walk out and it was amazing! The views were unbelievable. The beds were comfy and the room was really large. Housekeeping came rather quickly when requesting towels or trash bags. Walmart delivery right to door. The guy selling beach chairs was so friendly and right outside our door. The beach was really clean. The pool and that area were clean. The corridor lights outside were broken and it was really dark (had to use phone light to see). But it didn’t feel dangerous, just a little unsafe due to lighting. The non smoking room smelled extremely strong of pot. I just left the door open while we loaded in our luggage and purchased an air freshener from walmart and it was fine. surprisingly we did not smell it often during our 5 day stay. Lots of sand gets into room so bring your own broom. we also put a bucket of water outside our door to rinse feet and that helped some. The stairs are a little narrow and if you have mobility issues you need to use the handrail and go slow. (on the side of the building and leading up to the pool). some ceiling tiles in room were stained and needed to be replaced.
