- Michelle (1/5): Awful, didn’t stay - Nothing, it was awful, it smelt of wee and smoke, I didn’t stay It smelt awful
The customer service was shocking
The rooms were awful, no privacy, a shower in the middle of the room not in a bathroom
- Raimondo (10/5): - Ubicazione ottima a due passi avevi tutto.
- Sharriena (10/5): Amazing from start to finish - Disabled access to first floor a plus! Indian restaurant next door also a plus. Lovely food, great breakfast and friendly staff.
- Mark (5/5): All ok and value for money - Location Needed a little TLC
- Jonathan (9/5): -
- Małgorzata (10/5): - Dobra lokalizacja
- Katie (1/5): Worst booking I have ever made! - Nothing! I would give this a 0 if i could! We booked this hotel and didnt even stay!
The hotel smelt strongly of weed. The old building must have ussues as the room was on an obvious tilt! It was cold! The polystyrene square ceiling were all lift up leaving holes in the ceiling.
When getting suitcases out of car someone shouting out of window to someone on the street, turns out they were on about drugs! Did not feel safe at all. We got in the car and went to book somewhere else.
- Kerstin (5/5): - The room and ensuite were fine and the bed was comfortable. There were some very inconsiderate guests who were moving about all throughout the night, slamming their doors, talking in the hallway etc. One morning at 5 am there was a big argument going on. The next morning around 5am someone played their music.
Whilst there is staff at the property their bedrooms are in the basement, which meant they were oblivious. There was a phone number to call, but I was worried about repercussions and felt somewhat vulnerable as a lone female.
I ended up leaving a night earlier than planned as I couldn't face another sleepless night.

Please be careful; never choose this hotel. It was like hell. I did not like anything.

- Linz J (7/5): A good stay - Christmas Lunch at the Namestey Restaurant was incredible. The staff were great, a refrigerator was dropped in the on the day we arrived (and they accomodated early arrival), the cleaning team were active throughout the stay. Room 4 is a perfect size and the view of the tower is wonderful. We have stayed a lot at the Topaz and it has always had an amazing heart to it, I don't know what has changed but it didn't have that same feel. There needs to be a mat for the floor of the bathroom for getting out of the shower, the bathroom door needs a check over as I got locked in and had to have my partner open it from the outside and a bedside lamp would be ideal.
- Russ (6/5): Needs modernization. - Location was good for our purpose. The property had sticky spots all over the floor like old sweets so could of been cleaner, toilet needs a upgrade as it's flush is very weak and one issue was a banging at 3am of a child running about for 2 hours but this wasn't the hotels fault.
- Marie (8/5): - Room was huge. No fridge in room.
- Lewis Swinson (10/5): - Rooms were very roomy and a lot of space, beds were extremely comfortable.Great view of blackpool tower from our window, ZERO COMPLAINTS. 100% satisfied Nothing

- Paul (6/5): - Location Key pickup from a different location
- rich (10/5): - Very clean and the price is very good
- Gary (4/5): Ok for a one night work stay. - It was in a lovely location. The window in our room didn't open, and there was no staff on site we had to go to another hotel to check in. It was basic and did the job but is not what it describes itself to be.
- Ian (10/5): - Location No bar
- anowar (10/5): -
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Mikey (4/5): - Staff were helpful on some issues we had Heating didnt work, beds uncomfortable, very dusty

- Anita (10/5): -
- Liz (8/5): - Central location No staff on site
- Nicola (8/5): - Location
- graham (7/5): Value for money. - Good location ideal for all facilities and parking,it's not the best but it's certainly not the worst,it's good and honest accomodation. Noisy pipe work early in the morning, but every hotel ,guest house they all have quirky bits and pieces going on even the best hotels.
- Archer (8/5): Great stay - Lovely room, great price.
- Brian (8/5): - Location good
- Walker (9/5): - Not much room in the toilet
- Antony (10/5): Excellent hotel at an excellent price! - Excellent room especially for the price! Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom (made like a sauna) would definitely recommend! 10/10! Our room was at the very top but it is what we ordered, everything else was perfect.
- Wes (6/5): Overall not a bad hotel but would have enjoyed more with a more - Great location, good wifi and tv worked unlike hotel Blackpool when we last stayed . Mattress needs replacing, very worn and really uncomfortable causing back and neck to hurt for days after. Toilets not cleaned properly with rubbish behind toilet and what looked like a coke bag in the toilet when we arrived.
- Simon (10/5): Awesome hotel - The room was excellent beds very comfortable Staff were absolutely brilliant highly recommended
- Allen (9/5): Very happy with this Hotel i would deffo return to this hotel again in the future. - The Security of the hotel was second to none i felt really secure whilst i was there as a Disabled solo traveller i always worry I’m not going to be safe but this hotel was 10/10 safe Nothing

- Simon (10/5): Excellent stay highly recommended - Everything bedroom was fantastic Great beds excellent staff very helpful
- Dolan (8/5): - The location was absolutely perfect. Close to everything we needed. Didn't like the noise from the blow fan outside the window but part from that everything else was fine.
- Claire (1/5): - Good location and hot water Everything else
- Dev (9/5): -
- Rostron (8/5): -
- Kerry (10/5): -
- Matthew (6/5): Very average - Good location typical Blackpool room Dated and noisy
- Julie (4/5): -
- Tracy (8/5): Birthday break - It was close to the amenities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small as was the shower, and it was in need of an update to the furniture and decor, which was tired and shabby.
The bathroom was small there was no mat or towel for the floor so had to be careful getting out of the shower,(there was some paper style slippers, but they didn't help) the pillows and duvet were old and the duvet cover was torn on both sides near the top.
One bedside table was wobbly and there wasn't much space between the bed and drawers or the bed and window which made getting in and out of bed difficulty.
- Kania (5/5): - We were happy with great location and free breakfast Window are dirty and poor quality inside room, remote no working
- Reston (10/5): - Close to everthing Everthing was gd
- kathleen (8/5): - Loved the location. Breakfast and staff are amazing, super friendly, and helpful. Although the beds were clean, the mattresses really need replaced. A little more attention to cleaning would also help
- Joanna (7/5): - Close to tower and arcades. No parking.
- Debbie (7/5): -
- Daniel (8/5): -
- Claire (2/5): - The TV was great aswell as the tea and coffee Shower wasn't working properly the bathroom smelt really bad hair on the bed side cabinet and the room in general was not clean to standards
- Elaine (8/5): Weather was bad but nothing bad at our stay location. - I have stayed at the Topaz before. We had a much better room this time with a big bay window in which we could see the tower well. Could have done with a ground floor room due to my mothers wheelchair use but will correct this next time and ask for ground floor level.
- Kerry (5/5): -
- Sarah (6/5): - My room was comfortable and spacious with good amenities. There were a few bits if dirt in places
- Owen (8/5): - We're it was Tv not working and 2 towes that all for 2 people for 2 days
- Tracy (5/5): -
- mark (8/5): - The location is perfect for amenities of all kinds .The rooms were adequate and the staff were friendly and very helpful. We also received a text message to say we could check in early . We was in Blackpool to celebrate a birthday and anniversary so we only slept there . And everything was fine . So no complaints
- Jones (1/5): Never agen - Nothing Dirty old dull smells
- Hollie (1/5): - Nothing to like about this hotel When I walked in for a celebration of my Birthday, me and my partner arrived at the hotel and there was a note on the door to go to another hotel to check in, paid for the hotel and the deposit for the damages which is refundable, got to the door of the room and it smelt funny and not clean, the room was tiny along with a non working TV along with the view was awful and had scaffolding too see out the window. Cobwebs everywhere and just not a clean room. Went back to the hotel where we checked in and there wasn't a manager around thats not good or helpful. Ended up having to leave the hotel to go to get signal or free WiFi from somewhere as nothing telling you what the WiFi is for the hotel. Went back to the original hotel that we used to check in and complained and got money back and leaving the hotel to go to a different one. I wouldnt recommend staying here

- Jake (7/5): - Great location, really lovely gentleman from hotel Calypso gave us our keys and explained the lady who owns the hotel is on holiday, nice and clean hotel. Stayed in room 11 nice-sized room. The hotel was very quiet. The blinds in the room are broken and no shower or toiletries, other than that hotel was lovely
- Emma (1/5): Awful - Awful Everything
- Emma (1/5): Awful - Nothing Dirty mould on the wall and bed was extremely bad uncomfortable
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Lovely, friendly staff. Near to everything in the centre, shops, piers and restaurants. A little tired in some areas but overall comfortable stay.
- Leigh-anne (6/5): - The bathroom and floors where rotten
- Tanya (5/5): Topaz Blackpool - Great location, reasonably priced, room size was perfect for myself and my two children and the beds were comfortable, we all slept really well. The room was quite dirty and run down. The reviews for Topaz seemed promising and the photographs of the room we had booked that were posted on Booking.com looked great, so I was taken back by the cleanliness/condition when we arrived.
- Katie Cargill (8/5): -
- Lauren (9/5): - Very clean, large spacious room. Staff was amazing, very friendly! Couldn’t help us anymore, allowed us to leave our bags secure until our room was ready. Would’ve been nice to have a fan as the room got very hot but I could’ve asked to be fair so they may of had one.
- Christophe (1/5): - Rien Avoid this hotel! It’s a disaster.
We booked for one week and upon arrival the room was dirty and unsanitary. Housekeeping had not been done, there was hair in both beds, grime and grease on the walls, the floor was broken and dangerous. With a child, we were forced to book another hotel because it was impossible to sleep here. We asked the hotel for a refund but they refused. This is a disgrace! And shame on Booking.com for offering such unsanitary accommodation. We lost a lot of money.
- Jay (1/5): Disgusting, smelly box room - Location. There is nothing to like about this property, upon entry there was a foul smell, carpets dated and filthy. Doors stained and full of dirty hand prints.
Bedroom I felt like I was squatting, Tiny room, looked like toe nail clippings on the bed, massive cluster of fake eyelashes attached to the towels.
Bedroom had an awful smell and the smell got worse, extractor fan was extremely noisy.
If you want an extractor fan blowing the smell of fried food into ur bedroom then this is the place for you.
Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. We refused to stay here and moved to another hotel.
