• Jennifer (10/5): - The hotel staff were pleasant and competent. The rooms were individually decorated and cute! There were little reading spots in the interior of the hotel. Breakfast was well-done. The hotel was close to good restaurants and within walking distance to major monuments in Montpellier.

• Sarah (10/5): - Perfect gem! Free parking on site, and the hotel is so relaxing and charming. It keeps the beauty of the old building but updates enough for a very comfortable stay. Check-in was easy, and they spoke perfect English, always a treat. We loved the area and took a few strolls to see some sites at the doorstep.

• Poulami (8/5): - Cosy place to stay in Montpellier. The rooms were clean and well maintained. They also had good AC - helpful for summer months. There is not much immediately next to the hotel, so you will need to walk to the heart of the old town.

Although there are no kettles in the room, this was absolutely made up for by the high quality and inexpensive drinks provided in the small lounge on request. The decor of the room and public areas was tasteful and individual. Very friendly helpful staff.

The bed was very comfortable and the whole hotel was very quiet with a lovely little courtyard. Closer to the old city than it looks and very walkable. Can’t recommend enough.

• Gaelle (4/5): Probleme d’hygiene - L’hôtel est plutôt charmant avec un petit déjeuner servi à l’extérieur très agréable. Le problème est qu’une horrible odeur d’ammoniaque émanait des toilettes. Je l’ai signalé dès le lendemain matin car je restais plusieurs jours sur place. On m’a répondu qu’on allait voir ce qu’on pouvait faire et rien n’a été fait. C’est la raison pour laquelle je suis très déçue et ne recommande pas cette hôtel.

Concernant la chambre; bien que petite nous avons passés des bonnes nuits. Petit bémol sur la douche : le rideau ne protège pas vraiment les fuites… Des bruits de tuyauterie ont rythmé nos nuits, peut-être voir pour une révision. Dans l’ensemble les réceptionnistes ont étés idéals, nous les recommandons! Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil!

The Hotel is little but nice, making me recall the Latin words used by the Ancient Romans speaking about their own home: “Parva sed apta mihi” ( little but suited for me) . Great hospitality !

• Ashley (4/5): - The photos are not true to the actual property. The carpet looks like it has been there since the 1970s. The room was tiny, and the bathroom was literally a closet. We did appreciate the free parking. We did not get breakfast since you had to pay extra for it. The place is tired.

Juste un petit bémol à noter avec l'évacuation de la douche qui était bouchée, ce qui n'est pas très agréable et pas très hygiénique. Sinon, nous recommandons bien évidemment crt hôtel et nous y retournerons bien volontiers si nous devons de nouveau venir sur Montpellier.
• Dirk (10/5): Style and elegance in authentic Montpellier 'hood - This hidden gem, a former residence of French nobility, sits in the middle of an authentic Montpellier neighborhood, just off the beaten tourist track. Ground floor rooms open up into a small shady courtyard, and hav e their own patios; rooms upstairs have little balconies. Thoroughly renovated only recently, it deserves three, if not four stars -- is is the lack of an elevator that brought the classification down? Excellent breakfast indoors or outdoors, good wifi, spacious modern bathrooms, and everywhere the sense that you are transported into an imagined era of style and elegance...

Only one slight irritation, having a room on the ground floor. Woke up and opened curtains only to find rest of the hotel guests having breakfast within 3 feet of our room. Didn't see shutters till last day, when one of the staff closed them whilst we were out.

Ten minute walk from the old town, and within a ten minute walk to a multitude of excellent, reasonably priced restaurants. We enjoyed having a high quality and varied breakfast each morning on their intimate outdoor patio. Because the hotel is just outside of the old town, on-site parking seemed sufficient for the number of guests, and it was easy to get out of Montpellier to explore the region.

• John (10/5): Fantastic one night - My wife and I had a great stay from beginning to end. Diego and Nickola couldn't have been any nicer. We got an upgrade, parking on the grounds, and only a short walk to restaurants. This is a very young town, about 40% college age. We felt very safe walking at night. We would stay again and may just do that on our return to drive back to Spain.
• Man of Science (10/5): Oasis of calm in the bustling city - The hotel is close to the city centre and easy to find. Perhaps 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral. Check in was quick and the staff were all friendly and helpful, switching to English if they were not sure I had understood. My room was lovely. Breakfast was good and they have a quiet garden with seating away from the street. There is a pleasant cafe a couple of blocks up the road with a sunny terrace, a very good boulangerie aroun the block and it is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town with all it has to offer. I will stay here again.
• Maureen (10/5): Charming small hotel - The service was very kind and responsive. Our room was lovely, very comfy bed, excellent bathroom features. The hotel is in a nice area and not in the old part of the city center, but very easily walkable to all the sights. It was about a ten minute walk to get into the heart of the very charming old part of city. The free parking was a big plus. The wifi was fast and worked fine except for the first couple of hours we were there. They assured us it would be fixed quickly and it was.
• Hugh (10/5): Quiet oasis in busy city - A very friendly hotel, with excellent breakfast on the terrace, parking a bit tight but manageable, comfortable rooms, close to tram line to get about the city. Walking distance to the old city but not many local bars or restaurants as its in a quiet neighbourhood, which means its peaceful!

Parking difficult but we got there early, otherwise could be hard to find somewhere secure . Some rooms had own mini patio area.
