Beautiful decor and great breakfast. - We stayed at The Myst for our final night in Ho Chi Minh and I really wished we had stayed here at the beginning of our trip too. It was beautiful! The location was great for us, just a short 5 min walk to the Opera House and in a more refined area of HCMC. The decor reflects the heritage of the building in a very tasteful and unique way. We had a corner room and it was beautiful with a very comfy bed and great shower. We even had a jacuzzi on our balcony which was fun to use. Food at the Myst is gorgeous, with a very large selection for breakfast including made to order dishes and a complimentary afternoon tea 2-4pm. The rooftop pool is very nice. Plenty of comfortable sunloungers and 2 large cabanas. It gets the sun all day and the trees provide shade if you wish. The rooftop bar is stunning and the drinks are very good. Staff at The Myst are really helpful and friendly. It was a perfect stay and will be my first choice hotel next time. Nothing

• Abigail (8/5): Great location, staff and excellent food, room stylish but dark. - The hotel looks fabulous, with unusual art and sculpture in the lobby and throughout. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is very high quality. There is a huge choice for breakfast and the 'afternoon tea' (included in the price) is extensive and accompanied by live music, which is a lovely touch. We also liked the pool on the roof - it doesn't have a huge amount of beds but there was always space when we were there - and it's shaded so a real haven from the heat. Location is great too, a couple of minutes from the Opera House. We booked a room with a balcony and jacuzzi which sounded really exciting and I certainly expected some outdoor space. However, because the hotel is surrounded by other hotels, the balcony was totally enclosed, so the room had no natural light and the jacuzzi area was very dark too. We were on the 10th floor (of 12). It is possible that other rooms do - if in doubt, ask ahead? Having said that, perhaps we were expecting too much from a city hotel in a place where there are a lot of high rise buildings.

The rooms are spacious and nicely designed. The balcony with the stone spa bath was a real treat. Japanese toilets, great shower and very comfortable bed with the softest sheets ever.

• Leopoldo (9/5): Fantastic hotel in the heart district 1. - Rooms were stylish and clean, jacuzzi was a nice extra, infinity pool and brekfast were great, location is super central a stone throw from all the tourist main areas but not overwhelmingly so. At check-in they could not find our booking, it was a bit stressfull and unexpected, also it was not clearly explained how the room cleaning was requested, similarly at checkout the staff were a bit cold, nothing major but given the price you'd have expteced a bit more attentiveness at arrivals and departure.

Comme souvent dans les grandes villes vietnamiennes, l'humidité est souvent un souci dans les chambres d'hôtels. Ce fût le cas dans notre chambre dans cet hôtel. Mon compagnon supportait très mal l'humidité, nous a avons demandé un changement de chambres. Nous seulement, ils ont pu nous garantir une nouvelle chambre, mais ils ont fait leur possible pour limiter l'humidité éventuelle dans cette nouvelle chambre. Le petit-déjeuner est fabuleux, varié et très bon. Les chambres sont très confortables et belles. Que dire de l'emplacement : il est idéal près de tout! Nous avions une chambre avec jacuzzi en extérieur. Les installations étaient un peu vieillissante et les gens de l'hôtel voisin avait une vue directe sur notre balcon. Peut-être pourrait-on trouver une solution pour cacher au moins la partie jacuzzi... C'est un détail vraiment, car le Myst Dong Khoi est un hôtel vraiment exceptionnel par ailleurs !

• Elliot (10/5): Quirky, Smart, Unexpected Surprises - The design of the property was beautiful. It was quirky, referencing to Ho Chi Minh city, little touches made the space special. Unexpected extras really made the property exceptional. Like complementary afternoon tea, after check, whilst we waited for our flight we could still use the facilities including the pool and showers. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, with a thoughtful menu. Nothing, I loved everything about it
• Janine (10/5): Ich würde dort immer wieder einchecken, wenn ich in Ho Chi Minh bin. - Das Essen war fantastisch: Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen und es gab nachmittags eine Tea Time mit leichten Speisen. Nachdem wir den halben Tag unterwegs waren, war das genau richtig. Außerdem ist der Pool auf der Dachterrasse toll zum Relaxen - nicht überfüllt, sehr ruhig und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

A fantastic hotel right in the classy part of the city, just a short walk down from the Opera House. Surrounded by all the best shops. The hotel allowed us to check in 2 hours early and had decorated our room with rose petals etc. on the bed & bathroom to mark our 20th wedding anniversary. They also supplied a cake too. Many thanks to the staff for making our stay extra special. The room was amazing as was the facilities. Roof top pool and cocktail bar was also enjoyed. The room and shower plus jacuzzi bath on the 10th floor balcony we all fantastic. JBL Bluetooth speaker was a great touch too. There was a lot of other things that we also enjoyed the free mini bar & afternoon tea from 2-4pm was greatly appreciated... even on the day we checked out (4 night stay). This was offered even though we had checked out and just returned to collect our luggage for an 8PM flight.. The staff absolutely made this our best 5 star experience ✨️ ❤️ We can't thank the hotel staff enough xxx. Ho Chi Min is a fantastic place x Nothing

Also I thought I had prepaid for our stay via booking.com and was quoted approx $860. But my credit card was then charged over $900 (different amount) during my stay. I am a little concerned as we did change cards. (We booked using 1 card but used a different card when checking in. I did do an update in the bookings.com app. Did I get charged twice??

• Sharyn (6/5): Previously a fan of this hotel but not so much after this visit - We booked the Saigon Balcony Double Room as we had stayed in these rooms previously and liked them. Upon arrival we were offered an ‘upgrade’ to a corner room but declined as we liked the location of the rooms from previous visits knowing that they are shaded and the balconies (with outdoor spas) have privacy at the side of the building. We wish there had been full transparency regarding the location of our room (Room 1104) for this visit, as it was located directly underneath the dining room and kitchen areas. The noise from above was constant, with furniture being dragged etc. as they set up for breakfast early at around 5am, have an afternoon tea and then open again as a dining room in the evenings with the clean up not ending until midnight. On the small occasion (very late in the evening) where we thought we would get some respite from the noise, a floor polisher was activated and went on for about an hour. If we had known the above was going to occur of course we would have chosen a different room but having never stayed on this floor before we could not believe the noise level being transferred to the rooms below. When we checked out we were asked about our stay and we mentioned how noisy it was and this was met with a shrug, almost like he had heard it all before! Definitely was not worth the money we paid and unfortunately - after many stays - that will be our last time staying here.

• Anne (9/5): Excellent séjour en plein centre de Saigon - L'emplacement de l'hôtel est central et permet de visiter la majeure partie des sites à pied. Le personnel était accueillant et disponible. La variété du petit déjeuner n'était pas à la hauteur de ce que l'on peut attendre de ce type d'hôtel.

• Sharyn (9/5): Location is perfect, staff are incredible - this hotel is visually spectacular! - We love how this building and the rooms are unique and visually impressive. The staff were also extremely helpful and friendly the whole time. Location is perfect with a 7Eleven located across the road for any last minute needs. There is also a bar and swimming pool located on the roof. Our room configuration on this visit included a desk in the centre of the room which was impractical. A table with two chairs would have been more useful for when we ordered room service.

We asked if we could eat dinner in the rooftop bar and they brought the food up from the restaurant for us. Excellent location. Our room was large and comfortable. Had a wonderful evening sitting in the jacuzzi on our balcony overlooking the city. Would certainly recommend.

Kamen nach 16h Anreise um die Mittagszeit an. Klar - Check-in ist um 15 Uhr. Trotzdem hätte man die Reinigung "unseres" freien Zimmers etwas verziehen können. Wäre angenehmer gewesen, als in der Lobby rumhängen und einnicken zu müssen. Für alle....;) Ansonsten perfekter Aufenthalt
