Big enough indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi. You need me make sure that your room is smoking room or non-smoking room. Upper floor is better than lower floors and I was 27th floor executive room, it was very convenient to access to the lounge but 2nd floor breakfast buffet was more variety of food. The staffs can speak English and kind. Hans at the reception was very helpful and nice!

- Katie Hor Yee (10/5): - A very nice hotel. The room is high tech. Toilets in the room are all automatic flush. We booked a suite this time and the room is super nice. Business lounge on 27th floor is great and the staffs are very attentive. We will definitely stay at Conrad when coming to Guangzhou next time.

Service was lukewarm from receptionist and the staff at main door. No smile or greeting from staff at the main door and they did not offer any help with the luggage during our departure. Overall still a very comfortable stay but don’t expect customer service from the staff like any other international hotels

- Verified traveler (4/5): Unpleasant stay - We had the most unpleasant one night stay at Conrad Gongzhou. 1. The receptionist told me that the hotel only provides 2 bottles of water per room & we would be required to pay for any extras. 2. when we entered into the room, it was very warm & uncomfortable. The air conditioning was set at 25.5 Celsius which is 80degree F in the US. Even though I turned it down to 16.5C, it only went down to 22 Celsius in the morning. It was definitely not working properly. 3. When we checked-in the receptionist informed us that the bellhops are very busy & would not be available for a long time & suggested we bring our luggages to the room ourselves. 3. When we arrived at the entrance, no bellhops offered to take our luggages into the hotel lobby. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or Conrad branded hotels to anyone. Subpar hotel.

- Wang Mau Matthew (8/5): BREAKFAST BUFFET PROBLEM - The hotel is clean and service is good. I have stayed in this hotel over the past 6 years. However, breakfast buffet is getting worse every time I visited there. They served fake bacon. I never saw this in other 5 stars hotel. Please get rid of that.

Overall a great hotel however couple of minor issues. 1) despite arriving only 1hr earlier than stated check in, there was no room available, even though I am a Hilton gold rewards member. Very little compassion despite over 13 hours of flying. 2) The staff at breakfast do not speak much English, and choice is limited for vegetarians. 3) Food & Drinks are very expensive!! Rooms are nice and modern, other than above three points a happy stay.

- GRACE (10/5): Comfortable Room, Convenient Location - Booked club floor with access to Executive Lounge. Love the spread of food & easy to check in/check out. My room has 2 Queen sized bed, the room itself is very comfortable to stay in. Makes you dont want to go outside! There is a indoor swimming pool and the gym is well equipped. All facilities are very new. Did not try the restaurants, but it is just connected next to a mall! (and train station) Bus to Shenzhen/Hong Kong is just directly outside the hotel. Very convenient. Would stay again.

- Verified traveler (10/5): EXCELLENT Guangzhou Hotel - This hotel is fantastic. Literally the best hotel I have ever stayed in in China. Was in HK and SZ as well as GZ on this trip and the other 4+ star hotels i stayed in absolutely paled in comparison. I was actually sad to leave.

Jacuzzi tub should be surrounded by some high trees for facing the residential view. Thai SPA price is high for hotel guest. Chinese restaurant is worth to try. Food presentation is gorgeous and taste delicious.
- Andy (10/5): Stay away. I want this Hotel for Myself - This is a super nice hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms glad in white oak veneer. Enormous bathroom. Beautiful swimming pool and exercise facility. Excellent Chinese and Italian restaurants. Amazing breakfast buffet. Staff that is cordial and earnest and eager to please. All in all Wonderful. So, go somewhere else so that I can have this hotel to myself.
- Melissa (10/5): Could not fault it - Absolutely wonderful stay at the Conrad for phase 2 of Canton fair. All aspects of our stay were five star. Beautiful, well appointed rooms that were very spacious, quiet and immaculately clean. One of the real standouts for me tho were the staff - at every level, maids, bellboys, concierge, restaurant, all staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Hotel is very close to Canton fair and is also attached to a huge shopping mall that has everything you may need. We are back to stay next week for phase 3 of the fair and can’t wait!
