• Candasha (10/5): Truly exceptional - It is tucked away in an unassuming narrow alley in the old Fes. But once you open the door, a beautifully restored to its original glory, tastefully decorated and well-cared-for Riad, opens to you. It also has a beautiful, tranquil garden full of lovely plants and birds as well as amazing views from the rooftop terrace. Ample and well-appointed rooms with authentic decor and original art pieces. Lovely ambiance with a delicate fragrance throughout the hotel. Convenient, secure parking is nearby. Great location for exploring Kasbah, Medina and admiring Merinid Tombs nearby. The guests are taken very good care of. Information and all necessary assistance are readily provided. Very good breakfast and dinner. Outstanding cleanliness and service. Hallways, stairs, and windows are constantly being touched up throughout the day. We also very much enjoyed the hammam. Throughout our stay, we felt the hotel was under excellent management. It was such a pleasure staying at this hotel.

La posizione è eccellente, in piena medina ma isolata dal caos (se arrivate in taxi o auto, il parcheggio è a 2 minuti a piedi). Menzione super alla cena (il dolce squisito), la location meravigliosa. Se torneremo a Fes sarà la nostra prima scelta.

• Gabrielle (10/5): Juste inoubliable et merveilleux - Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce ryad. Tout était parfait : l’emplacement est idéal, la décoration est magnifique et l’établissement est très propre. Le personnel est extrêmement attentionné et toujours à l’écoute. Le hammam et le massage étaient également excellents, un vrai moment de détente. Ils ont même organisé une superbe surprise pour les 60 ans de ma mère, avec de la musique et une ambiance festive, ce qui a rendu ce moment inoubliable pour toute la famille. Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour leur gentillesse et leur professionnalisme. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit.

• ab4371d47d7272fc42cd3e3d149e4d09 (10/5): Ryad mit 1001-Nacht-Flair - Das Ryad ist sehr schön renoviert worden und hat eine tolle Lage. Man kommt in 10 Minuten in den Basarbereich und kann praktisch während des Aufenthaltes das Auto auf dem Pp stehen lassen. Wir haben dort auch immer Abendessen gehabt (es gibt guten Wein und Bier) und es ist ebenso wie das Frühstück sehr zu empfehlen. Kleiner Garten mit Schwimmbecken und Dachterrasse mit atemberaubender Aussicht, man braucht eigentlich nicht rausgehen… Wir hatten auch Hamam und Massage, ebenfalls eine Empfehlung! Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, aber etwas monoton, ein wenig mehr Abwechslung wäre schön. Eierspeisen werden auf Nachfrage serviert. Ähnlich ist es beim Abendessen, man muss sein Menü für den Abend energisch planen.

• Louise (10/5): Highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again! - Everything!! Excellent location. Easy to find, just outside the Medina, close to a very accessible entry into the souk. From the taxi drop off point in the carpark, it’s a 3 min walk to the front door. To get there you walk around the back of the local ryads, not through the souk. Absolutely beautiful building with a peaceful garden and fantastic rooftop view. Spotlessly clean with attentive, friendly staff. Wonderful food. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom. Would highly recommend the excellent massage and Hammam. The lady who did the treatment was very skilled! The manager organised a personal guide to introduce us to the souk. He was knowledgeable and worth every cent. The manager is very kind, passionate about the property and welcoming. Nothing at all.

The closest car drop off point is Riad Jean Claude/ Parking Ain Azliten and only few mins walk from the parking lot. Staff are friendly and welcomed. Too bad we have to leave early for the desert tour and couldnt stay for breakfast but they prepared a small takeaway for us to eat otw. Shower head..the water pressure is very weak..but we experienced that in all the accommodations..so I guess its a general thing
• Michael (10/5): Ein Traum aus 1001 Nacht - Das Riad Mabrouka ist ein Traum aus 1001 Nacht! Die Bilder können nicht wirklich wiedergeben wie schön dieser kleine Palast ist. Die Zimmer, sensationell in den man sich wie ein Sultan vorkommt. Der Garten mit Pool ein Traum und hier zu frühstücken oder zu Abend zu essen (beides einfach nur Super) unbeschreiblich. Die Lage ist perfekt um Fes auch zu Fuß zu erkunden und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Und der Sonnenuntergang auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Fes und die Umgebung, unvergesslich. Das Personal sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

• MARY ANNE (10/5): Gorgeous riad - The riad was beautiful and spacious and serene. There was a pool and a tranquil garden. The place was better than the pictures. Our room was on the second level and it was huge with high high ceilings. We travelled in Morocco for 17 days and it was the best accommodation for us. The location was outside of the Medina but very close to one of the gates so access was very easy. It was nice and quiet there. We had dinner there on our first night and it was great. It also has a roof top where you can have snacks and drinks to see the sunset. Do not hesitate to book this riad. Nothing

De gids die ons meenam door de medina neemt je mee naar verkoop adressen waar allemaal toeristen naartoe gebracht worden om je voor veel te veel geld dingen te verkopen. Le jardin luxuriant, tout aussi paisible, est l'endroit parfait pour profiter de la piscine après une journée de visite. On y sert également le petit-déjeuner (copieux et délicieux). Good explanation, wonderful building, atmosphere and spacious rooms that boost with charm and incredibly high wooden ceilings. You can have a nice drink in the garden and next to the pool to relax after hot day in the Medina. They organised a guided tour through the Medina with Kamal which was great and thought us a lot about the Medina and Maroccan life, religion and craftswork in general. My room was on the floor above ground level (US 1st floor) with a big bathroom on the level above that ( US 2nd floor). There was also a lovely garden. Location was just a couple minutes from one of the main streets in the Medina and from Ain Azlitan parking lot. Beautiful spacious room with sitting area and nice shower. Heat worked well N/A

• Jason (10/5): Special Place - The room and site was incredible. One of the Riads we stayed in that lived up to every photo. Felt like you were sleeping in a piece of history down to every last details. Very special experience. Staff were very helpful and considerate. Community Parking was close and secure. It was within close proximity to Blue Gate, Garden, Jewish Quarter, Palace and Tanneries. Our experience is that the Staff is honest and looks out for their guests. One of the more pricier places we stayed, but definitely worth it.

All were reasonable prices. Food was delicious, we asked for eggs and it was no problem. Dinner was also fabulous! Never felt rushed, it was a beautiful peaceful retreat within the Medina. Would highly recommend. Nothing!

• Levon (10/5): Exceptional - Ryad Mabrouka exceeded all of our expectations. Ryad Mabrouka is gorgeous space with beautiful, bright, airy, clean rooms. The bed was super comfortable. It's on a quite street which makes it a great escape from the medina's noise. But what makes this place amazing is the extremely kind staff. Unfortunately, as we arrived at the Ryad my wife got sick. Mustafa was so kind bringing us teas, drinks and food as we needed them all hours of the day. Mohamed came with us to the urgent care at 1am and waited there for 2 hours to make sure everything went well and we didn't need any help. I can't thank the staff enough for their kindness, generosity and help. I will stay at Ryad Mabrouka in a heart beat on my next visit to Fez. The Google maps is misleading and it took us in the wrong direction. From the parking lot/square, if you enter the medina's busy streets you've gone the wrong way. The ally to the hotel is across from the parking gate and now down the ramp into the median.

• Wade (10/5): The Most Amazing Riad - I chose this place after a great amount of research and it didn’t disappoint. its a short walk through the gate into the historic medina. This is a riad with a large atrium and a separate external garden with small pool which is unusual for the dense urban location. It only has 8 rooms on two floors but they are very high and the light filled atrium is large and immaculately ornate giving the whole place a palatial feel. It was lovingly restored from a family house in recent years to what it is now. The artistry and craftsmanship is amazing and there is a photo book in the lobby showing the restoration process. There is a roof terrace with amazing views high over the historic medina and hills beyond. The meals are in the garden during the nicer times of the year. There is a chef the comes to cook dinners to order that guests can arrange earlier in the day. That means the ingredients are fresh and cuisine is amazing served in a beautiful atmosphere. The breakfasts are awesome as well. You can have drinks and snacks served anytime in the garden, lounge or terrace. Although I didn’t use it, there is a spa where hammams can be arranged. There were people staying there as well as from surrounding locations that partook and everyone said it was great. The staff is great, constantly running around making sure you feel at home.
• Evelyn (9/5): Superb staff! - It was like staying in a beautifully decorated traditional Moroccan home. Breakfast, with fresh orange juice and/or beverage of choice, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit was beautifully plated and served in the garden. Upon request, the staff even packed breakfast to take away for an early departure. The cordial staff was excellent and they always ensured we had everything we needed and prepared special dishes when we weren’t feeling 100%. In the middle of the night, the staff even accompanied us to our departure pickup points (which wasn’t necessary but they insisted ).
• Margaret (10/5): Wonderful Ryad Mabrouka - The tranquility of the garden is a real asset to this 8 room Ryad. Meals are hearty and healthy with breakfast included. Recomended guide was great. Rooms are spacious and airconditioned. Hamman great. Traditional zellige and vintage french furniture throughout. It is the people and their service which makes this place truly wonderful.

It was much more luxurious than we had expected - a real oasis of calm with ready access to the hubbub of the Medina. Our room was large and beautifully appointed. Breakfasts were large and varied. Nothing.
• Toni (9/5): Brilliant! thank you to the whole Ryad Mabrouka team 🙏🏼 - We was warmly welcomed by Mohamed with mint tea, and a local map of the Medina (of which he is very knowledgable). Throughout the whole week the entire staff team were professional, kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great, more than we could eat! And if you choose to have an evening meal at the ryad - it is delicious - the cooks are fantastic. Our suite was beautiful, very spacious and had all of the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. The ryad is maintained and decorated to a very high standard. The pool area is quite small but adequate, and it was wonderful to cool off in after exploring the local sights. And take time to sit on the terrace, the view is amazing! Ryad Mabrouka is in a quiet area within walking distance to the Medina, just perfect for our visit to Fez and Meknes. Nothing 😃

• Emil (10/5): Magnificent journey in history and time. - We spent 2 nights in Fes in Riad Mabrouka. This is magnificent building which was built more than 1000 years ago. Great location - away from noisy streets, but still near all historical places, best restaurants and cafes. Great terrace, delicious breakfast and super helpful staff. Room was super clean, Riad itself was like a museum and time travelling experience. We definitely suggest this place to have great experience.

• Jonah (8/5): Perfect Riad for those looking for an authentic yet relaxing stay. - Overall a fantastic experience! It's within the Medina walls but not in the busy streets of the Medina so you get the best of both worlds (proximity & quiet evenings). The roof view was outstanding and we had a great time lounging and sipping tea while getting our daily dose of sunshine. The garden was a dream as well. Our concierge Mohammed was perhaps the best part of the stay, his smile and personal recommendations made our stay truly memorable. For the price, the food was quite disappointing. Dinner was 50 USD for 2 people and was ok at best. There are many options in the area so considering the price I'd go somewhere else. The breakfast was just bread three days in a row (albeit with yogurt and fresh OJ). An egg or some olives or something would have been nice.

Beautiful courtyard both inside with a fountain and sitting area and outside with the pool and gardens. Wonderful views from the rooftop terrace. Our room was huge, ornately decorated, and comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and modern. The complimentary black scrub soap was a nice touch. The staff were very helpful.

• Margaret (8/5): Comfortable, fantastic staff, and a historic gem of a property - The staff was very gracious, our suite was huge and the riad is beautiful, with a lovely garden and pool, and soaring ceilings. Like many courtyard Riads, sound carries and we were on the ground floor so there wasn’t a lot of privacy. Once the central lights were finally off though our room was dark enough to sleep quite well.
