Guest Reviews
- Juan carlos (10/5): - 👍
- jatinder (6/5): - No heating... it was cold
- Josafat (8/5): - Noise
- Jonathan (4/5): - Place was loud and full of roaches
- Jose Luis (6/5): - Las instalaciones están algo viejas pero en buen estado, lo Ăşnico que no me gustĂł es que el cuarto tenĂa alfombra y tenĂa mucho el olor a humedad.
- Martha (6/5): - The area around the property is to noisy, the staff is nice, the rooms very spacious, affordable prices, there are little markets and many vendors outside, typical of TJ . We just needed to stay a night
- Erick (10/5): - Great service
- Moises (4/5): - Noise in the building and two time during the day no water
- Cristopher (8/5): - It's ok for the price and location.
- Araceli (2/5): - Stayed her for three nights in two different rooms the first room was nasty the sheets and mattress were dirty and stained there was a lot of weird activity going on at night noise men yelling and many of middle eastern people . The second room was better than the first but we ended not even sleeping there the hotel got rated by an unknown agency they didn’t identify themself nor did they have a badge or agency name of their uniforms they just said it was an immigration trafficking raid !! We ended up leaving without money back or anything don’t stay here especially with kids
- Araceli (2/5): - Stayed her two night honestly it’s the worst there’s noise and people yelling all night unable to sleep not unless your on crack and don’t care about sleep never again will I stay here
- Jasmine (2/5): - They had bed bugs and not save environment
- Karla (2/5): - The employees weren’t that bad but would not come here again due to it being dirty and had a bad smell in the rooms and on top of it all they wouldn’t give us a refund.
- Diana (2/5): - Possibly the worst stay I’ve ever encountered now this hotel is labeled as such, but it definitely should be a motel. The linen is not properly cleaned or old with stains . You can hear rats in the walls all day. The parking lot is always loud at all hours of the day and night. You’re definitely getting the quality for what you’re are paying for. Do not recommend
- R (4/5): - No AC, no dinning, totally isolated area on top of hill. It is a motel, not a hotel. Super noisy as cars park in front of rooms & people congregate outside, since there is no libby at all.
- Alicia (6/5): - Was good for one night, thank you very much
- Ahmad (10/5): - Here's the revised version of your text:
It is clean, the staff is friendly, and there are grocery stores and many local food options around. It is recommended for those seeking an affordable, clean place with AC, a screen, a private bathroom, and good-speed internet. This is exactly what I wanted, and I stayed for 16 days.
- Ana Karen (2/5): - No se encuentra el hotel en la direcciĂłn del mapa
- Verified traveler (6/5): About as average as it can get - It's a very average hotel. The big problem here is the parking situation, it is absolutely atrocious. Nearly impossible to get in, gets super cramped, they don't have enough spaces for the rooms they have and cars will block you in. Staff makes note of cars blocking so they can call the room and ask them to move the car for you but honestly it's just an unnecessary hassle. We parked on the public street and got blocked by some flea market, which again was an easy fix but it's just minor annoyances I'd rather not deal with. Also, I got charged about $10 extra than what I was supposed to according to my reservation. Couple of ants in the bathroom but didn't seem like an infestation, probably wandered in through the window. AC worked well. Caution with the TV if you're traveling with little ones. I was flipping channels and came across a couple of pornographic (full nudity) shows. Thankfully my kid didn't see, but still... would have appreciated a warning.
- Ahmed (10/5): - Liked it! The staff was helpful, and it met all my needs. Safe, affordable, and clean place to stay. Stayed there for a week.
- Paule (4/5): - Try to find something cleaner and quieter.
- Marlene (2/5): - Everything was terrible period
- Beth (6/5): - Carpets need to be changed, beds are uncomfortable and hard, tv didnt work.
- William Guillermo (10/5): - Good convenient and safe
- Sebastian (2/5): - It’s cheaper to book directly through the hotel almost 1/2 off
- Richard (8/5): - Ok
- Yessenia (2/5): - Terrible place terrible service hardly has drainage available
- Pedro (2/5): - The sheets were dirty, it smelled weird and the bathroom didn't work well.
- Carlos (10/5): - Great place and affordable
- Vaclav (2/5): - Very old and poor amenities, room smells horrible.
- Margarita (2/5): - Hotel was close to everything but one thing I did not like during my stay, was that the front desk staff never notified me or the guests in the hotel that there wasn't any water in the building. My flight was delayed and from traveling so long, I just wanted to checked in and take a nice shower. Unfortunately there wasn’t ANY water! I couldn’t take a hot shower nor able to brush my teeth! The next day when I asked the front desk about the water situation, she stated there is water !! I told her no there isn’t !! Then she says they’re fixing the pipes yet there wasn't any water! When I went back to the room, to check the water; water was barely coming out. In the middle of taking a shower, the water turns off! After going through this experience, I know for a fact I will not be coming here again.
- Trevor D (10/5): - Parking was cramp but reasonable
- jorge (2/5): - emote and 500 pesos for AC remote is redicules the surrounding areas look degerous at night not a far neighborhood
Staff are extremely rude do not come here it is not worth it
- sergio (8/5): - Good customer services
- cachi (6/5): - The lady in the front was so friendly n helpful
- Rodrigo (2/5): - Noisy at 4 am people talking yelling playing music
- JOSEPH (10/5): Diamond in the rough!!! - I have no complaints really... Only other guests can be somewhat noisy... But the room was very nice and the bed was great. Slept well. Forgot several items in a drawer but the maids were awesome and brought them to me before I left. Great integrity. Great deal for the price. If you need to or want to get around call Uber. Great prices.
- Sean (4/5): - Toilet didn't flush properly, abd the parking was cluttered.
- Rafael (10/5): - This a huge hotel and it is very clean and nice. Affordable and they have all the amenities needed. Enjoyed my stay
- Sonia (8/5): Clean and Cold - It's hot in Mexico but during the winter there was no heater in the room so I was freezing in the room. There is no refrigerator and no microwave. Otherwise, it was clean and it was okay.
- Victor (6/5): - Signs of nonsomking, everyone was smoking.
- Miguel (4/5): You need a 500.00 pesos deposit to get A/C - Be aware that you need a $500.00 pesos deposit in cash to get the A/C or heater control. TV controls don't work.
Very loud place and no elevators. There is no Handicap Parking
- Esteban (4/5): - I think this hotel does no qualify to be advertised on Expedia....They don't clean the rooms every day, the room smell bad. This property is a motel.
- Vanessa (2/5): - They had bed bugs
- Stephanie (4/5): - There is no air conditioner it can feel very humid. Water kept being shut off. And usually there are a lot of people who are leaving their country so they stay at this hotel. Mostly men outside on their phones talking outside all day and night.
- Giselle (8/5): - Exactly how they say it is
- maria (10/5): - Highly recommend
- Gloria (2/5): - Very loud place and there was no water service,we felt very unsafe that we had to leave to another hotel!!!!
It’s a horrible place to stay on a very unsafe territory👎
- Ramon (4/5): - I wouldn't recommend it to couples. Place is kind of dark and staff doesn't do anything with the noise from kids playing till about 2 am. The room floor & bedding not cleaned properly. The bathrooms window knocked out allowing flies to come in.
- juan f (2/5): - el precio que te cobran no es el mismo del app es mas caro, no te aceptan dolares y debes de contar las toallas que recibes ya que no las ponen completas y al final te las quieren cobrar a $ 500.00 pesos.
- Jaime (10/5): - All good and clean.
- Jontan (10/5): - Everything is close by!
- Michael (4/5): - Stay on Friday until Saturday had I known it was no ac in the room it was super cold the lamps had no lightbulbs in them never again
- Christian (10/5): Great service - The employees where nice and helpfull. They answered all my questions regarding the hotel and the local surroundings
- Marisol (10/5): - Clean , nice staff. We enjoy staying here . Affordable prices
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like it.
Is nice and clean
Thank you to everyone
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Parking was a mess. No free breakfast. Street fair was a me
- Sal (10/5): - I like the location is close to businesses and close to my family there
- Patricia (10/5): - Wonderful friendliness of the staff and their readiness to help made for a very happy stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice staff i come here every weekend
Affordable price cleanliness i love it here
- JAIME (2/5): - This hotel treats their customers bad, especially if you vome from the U.S. I would not recommended thus place to my worst enemy
Upon arrival they force to leave a 35dollar deposit for the room key and upon checking out they will anything to keep your deposit. They kept mine and call me a towe thief. When I checked out they said I stoled 3 towels. Why would I take their dirty towels that stink like they don't washem right. I GIVE THIS HOTEL A MINUS 10. Dont stay here yhey also have ladies if the night turnibg their trick here all night long, and they call them self's familly orientated.
- Claudia (10/5): Los Altos Hotel 👍👍👍👍 - Excellent. Very clean parking is monitor 24 hrs. Spacious. Night receptionist very nice and attentive. I will stay there again. Kid friendly.
- Blanca (2/5): - It was horrible. The lady wanted to keep my ID and when I said I was leaving for a little she said I had to leave my room key. Then I got cold and she said it was going to be $500 pesos to turn on the heater. I asked for a blanket and she said they don’t give them out.
- joe (2/5): - the room was dirty the tv not working i reported 3times never came to my room the people in front desk to rude i never come back I DONT RECOMEND THIS HOTEL el cuarto sucio la tv no servia la repote 3 veses nunca llegaron a revisarla la chica de recepcion muy grosera me insulto YO NO RECOMIENDO ESTE HOTEL mejor pagar un poco mas en otro lado
- Verified traveler (2/5): - when wanted to take shower there was no water not a good location hard to find
- Jackiemang (2/5): - Terrible experience. I’ve stayed at a couple hotels in Tijuana which gave me no trouble. Upon arriving they demanded 30 deposit cash which said no where on there website or my email. I gave them my passport instead. The tv was not working. They gave me no remote for ac. It was hot and uncomfortable and the TV was not working. Had to get some guy to come in to connect he TV. I came back down to the desk to try to get the remote for the ac they demanded 30 dollars again. I only had 15 on me which they wouldn’t take and they told me there is no atm around. What kind of customer service is this? For your first time guest you should be ashamed!!! The other hotels I stayed at was like a $3 dollar deposit I mean If your gonna give the money back anyways why the hell does it matter? I’m never going back. And no one should stay here. Stay some where else!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - For what the prices is, is ok. Or if you want something better 40 to 50dlls to get another hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - I hate the fact that they charge you $500 pesos for the AC remote control when clearly that charge does not appear on the website or hotel
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location was great for me. Across the street from my son’s school.
- Nunez (8/5): - The only problem i had windows wouldnt lock. Parking is limited
- Verified traveler (10/5): - the hotel is okay not enough for parking lot also the towels need to replace them for new ones
- Maria (8/5): - Buen servicio un area comoda con acceso rapido a los lugares turisticos
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I don like like the service of the fronds they have a bad actitud except for one old lady the youngest they don’t know how to help costumers
- Valentin (6/5): - It was ok not the best but ok
- Lucero (2/5): - I booked for a 2 king bed and when i got to the hotel the gave me 2 queen bed. When i went to ask what happened they assured me that it was the king bed that they had. Later another employee was being rude and making unnecessary comments not knowing it was me who was requesting what i had initially booked. The room had NO A/C.
They also put me in the phone with some guy who was also being rude. Just a horrible experience and service
- Maria (8/5): - The rooms were very clean, I booked the 2 bedroom family room which had two queen sized beds and a bathroom. Each room had a TV and there was also an AC unit in one room which we turned on and left the door open from the room so both rooms were nice and cool. There was plenty of parking as well. My only issue was that the room next to the hallway had no noise cancellation and it was extremely noisy throughout the night. My husband and I stayed there and had the kids stay in the room furthest from the hallway. Other than that, the room was great.
- jose (2/5): - Night mare. Hot no A.C . No fans. No ventilation
- Jaime (6/5): It could have been better but it’s ok - Nice place, it was great for the money. Now I’m not so sure.
Still Quiet and safe
Unfortunately this couple of says I stayed. The bed was extremely hard. Felt like No mattress but a plank with comforter on top so not as comfortable as other times
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There was no water during my stay here at the hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We got kicked out because my sister surprised me for my Birthday all the way from New York and they told us she couldn’t stay in the room so I payed for nothing and they didn’t give me my money back, we were forced to sleep in the car.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - So when I purchased my hotel room I was supposed to get a larger bed in a larger room got a smaller bed in the smaller room one ROI arrive to the hotel I called the front desk to let them know that the room was the wrong room and they told me they have no other rooms also the water went out at least twice per day
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Tener mejor atencion y ser mas sociables instasion el baño muy pequeño
- Verified traveler (4/5): - PROS:
*Great bargin.
*Cleanrooms
CONS:
*Rooms were clean BUT MATRESS STANK REALLY BAD!
*Yucky bedding- No fitted sheet, just 2, ill-fitting, flat sheets and a polyester comforter.
*HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
*Staff frequently got "short" and snappy AND BLANTANTLY LIED to us more than once.
*Charges extra for EVERYTHING- even to get a room with a/c. Then more extra money to use the a/c remote control.
- Sandra (2/5): - I have stayed at Los Altos during multiple occasions so I didn't expect 5-star service or luxury accommodations, but the service and conditions during my last stay were just beyond disappointing. It started off with the receptionist saying there were no vacancies, when in fact, there were, but we were forced to book online to be able to stay. Then, the parking was saturated, so we were forced to leave our keys with an attendant if we wanted to have parking garage. It was loud throughout the night. The worst part though, was the disgusting condition of the bathroom, with its dirty curtains and its rusted drain. Very gross. We weren't given water bottles that come with the room. We had to go ask for them. We got one complimentary miniature size shampoo/conditioner for two people. The linen had holes and stains. Very beyond gross.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was not ready on check in and staff was rude.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - pricing is fair, location is good , near a lot of stores , food spots, beds are comfy, only thin I didn't like was the bathroom set up, no hand towels, toilet paper holder is not next to toilet, but wasn't too much of an issue, parking sucks ! that was my biggest issue, I had to leave my car outside of property or else your stuck inside on the lot and if you come and go a lot like I do that's an issue, they do have a parking attendant but if you car is stuck he has to move some out to get one out etc.. I felt safe with my car outside , they have cameras all over that's a good thing, one last thing I didn't like was the TV channels, I was raveling with family, and trying to find something to watch then porn shows up isnt good for kids, there should be some type of channel lock for that...
- VIRGINIA (10/5): Good - Good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place to stay for a low price, very clean and friendly staff. Our only issue was the lack of parking & our car being blocked in each night and having to request 3,4,5 cars be moved so we could leave the hotel.
- Andrea (10/5): Safe and Clean - The room was clean, beds changed daily , bathroom clean. We felt safe at this hotel. We would stay again if we returned to this area
- Max (6/5): - The price was good location was also good. You get what you paid for.
- NOEMI (2/5): - The receptionist was very rude gave us the worst room with a bed that was so uncomfortable and all because we where asking for a room on the first floor she sent is to the last floor. Very bad experience with her.
- Maria (6/5): - I was afraid to go outside with all those men there..
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was awesome. The hotel is within a block of two corner stores, down the street from plenty of small restaurants, taco stands & even a burger/hotdog stand. Hotel is far enough out of the hustle bustle of Downtown but within a short taxi drive of both the beach & shopping.
Will definitely be back!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The total amount came out to more than what was originally given to me in my confirmation email- it was cheap still so I didn’t complain. What I didn’t like though was that there was no a/c/ heat and the shower was bi-polar. It’d be boiling hot for about 5 seconds and then it’d be ice cold for another 5 seconds and it would just keep doing that. Also there were springs poking out of the side of the mattress that ripped a hole in my favorite jeans
- Verified traveler (4/5): - It’s noisy you can hear a lot of people all day and night specially with all the people from Central America when I first checked in there was like 50 people from Guatemala standing out side it looked like prison and there’s no! WiFi
- Lucia (2/5): Canceled but they still want to get paid - Got to hotel only to be told that they canceled my reservation but that I was still gonna be charged which I don't think is right so with that being said I will no longer make any reservations at. Los Altos I will be taking my business else were
- Megan (10/5): - Very nice remodeled bathroom. Bring your own shampoo cause there wasn't any but otherwise it was a pleasant and comfortable stay
- Jose (10/5): - Friendly staff , comfortable room !!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The control remote for the tv didn’t work couldn’t watch tv
- joe (6/5): - need more parking and the rooms need more insulation or something because you hear heverithing from outside its to noisy
