• Do1978 (10/5): Heerlijk weekendje weg - Villa oldenhoff was geweldig . Een super mooie kamer in een landelijke omgeving . Voor het ontbijt moet je iets extra betalen maar dat is het dubbel en dwars waard ! Heerlijke verse broodjes en brood . Een ei naar wens en beleg boter enz vers van de boerderij . Er werden zelfs verse wafels gemaakt . Wij komen er zeker een keer terug . We hebben genoten ! Niks
• Raymond (9/5): Wonderful stay with a warm welcome, great breakfast, and gracious hosts. - Clean, quiet and comfortable room in a small family hotel. We were warmly welcomed at the car and shown to our room. The highlight was breakfast served in a charming glass-fronted kitchen adjacent to the hotel. The coffee was delicious and the farm fresh eggs and cheese heavenly. If you prefer quiet, out-of-the-way places to big city hotels, then this is a great option.

• BiancaR70 (10/5): Zoooveel leuker dan in een hotel! - De leuke binnenkomer op de deur en de supermooie ingerichte kamer! Niets! En als er iets zou zijn, dan zou ik dat direct persoonlijk laten weten en nooit achteraf.

• Olaf (10/5): Heerlijk ontspannen in prachtige omgeving vlakbij Amsterdam. - Prachtige verbouwde boerderij met nog steeds een actief boerenbedrijf met koeien en paarden. Enorm gastvrije familie die ons ontvangen heeft. Het wordt inmiddels door de 5e generatie gerund. De kamers waren zeer groot en comfortabel (we hadden 2 suites geboekt). Minibar werd gratis aangeboden (m.u.v. de wijn) en we mochten zelfs extra bestellen. Ontbijt was 5-sterren waardig met a-la-minute eieren naar wens en ruime keus aan brood en patisserie. Er is een sauna die prive te huren is met prachtig uitzicht over de weilanden. Leuke wandelroute in de buurt van het hotel (10 min rijden). Niets viel tegen, wellicht een advies om voor de sauna wat extra grote handdoeken te verschaffen.

• Nicole (10/5): Heerlijk verblijf bij Villa Oldenhoff - Han en Suzanne zijn een voortreffelijk gastvrouw en gastheer! Het was een heerlijk verblijf bij ze.

• Shelley (9/5): A perfect ending to our European anniversary travels. - Our large room was beautiful, comfortable, and very clean. The family run business is well established and everyone is kind and welcoming. A beautiful location, 20 min from the airport, and you'd never know. The horse farm, along a canal, is a lovely location away from the noise and lights of the city. The breakfast was hearty, tasty and filling! The only thing that could have been better was having a separated bathroom in our suite. The top floor room would be perfect for a single individual or a couple that doesn't mind having a toilet in the same room, althought the nicely designed partial shower wall was a nice room divider.

• Jeroen (10/5): Dikke vette aanrader! - Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, de kamer was echt verbluffend mooi (en groot!) Er was een kitchenette met koelkast, combi-oven, waterkoker en Nespresso-apparaat. De huiskamer heeft een comfortabele bank met smart TV en er is een fijne eethoek. De slaapkamer met aangrenzende badkamer was top en heet bed sliep heerlijk. Mijn laadpas van mijn auto was nog niet aangekomen en de eigenaar kwam meteen met een eigen kaart zodat ik toch met een volle batterij weer op weg kon. Superfijn! Locatie was heerlijk rustig; langs het water, in alle rust maar met Amsterdam om de hoek. Dikke vette aanrader, dit hotel! Het is dat het volgend jaar al volgeboekt is, anders hadden we ook ADE 2026 alvast vastgelegd. Ik heb geen minpunten kunnen ontdekken

• Dr. Oliver (8/5): SEHR GUT! - Eine sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft. Sehr ruhig, sehr malerisch - direkt am Wasser. Das Hotel hat uns auch kostenlos Fahrräder zur Verfügung gestellt. Ein exzellentes Frühstück! Das Zimmer war schön aber etwas einfach mit einer Toilette nur durch eine offene "Schwingtüre" vom Schlafzimmer abgegrenzt. Ein sehr gutes Restaurant ist in fussläufiger Nähe. Es gab kostenlose Snacks ud Wasser in einer kleinen Küche im Zimmer. Etwas "einfaches" Zimmer im Verhältnis zum geforderten Preis.

• Pieter (9/5): verrassing in de polder onder de rook van Amsterdam - Op een half uurtje van Amsterdam midden in de polder lijkt het alsof je ver weg op vakantie bent en je wordt uiterst vriendelijk en persoonlijk welkom geheten. Voor ons was het handig om op vier minuten lopen gezellig een etentje te hebben in de Voetangel en niet in het donker met een slok op naar huis te hoeven rijden. Zelfs het ontbijt was verrassend door de persoonlijke benadering. geen privacy door het bad en de wastafel in de kamer zelf

Geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtete Zimmer, außergewöhnlich gutes Frühstück und dazu eine Familie, die herzliche Gastfreundschaft mit privater Atmosphäre kombiniert! Nichts zu vermerken.

• B (10/5): Very comfortable stay, lovely breakfast prepared by the host while chatting in the breakfast room. - Villa Oldenhoff is a beautiful building in a rural setting but surprisingly close to Amsterdam. If I had a complaint it would be the lack of privacy between the bedroom and bathroom.

The apartment was modern and well decorated, and I had the best sleep in the bed. The breakfast was delicious, was really nice having a coffee and chatting to the staff member who was there to cook breakfast. I rented a bike and had a couple of nice trips in to Amsterdam, a cruisy 45 min cycle. The owners were lovely, always came for a chit chat and even topped up my wine one evening when I was sat in the garden. One of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had.

• Tony (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely serene location where you will encounter and appreciate God’s creation directly with beautiful horses, dogs and other farm animals, and at least 20 different species of birds. A group of about 30 wild ducks flew past at one stage! Mieke and the team in general are friendly and make you feel like a guest at their home and not a hotel. The breakfast and sauna with cold shower are also on the favorite’s list of this hidden gem! A recommendation is to walk around the area of the villa at sunset or sunrise.
• Theresa (10/5): Lovely country stay - We found this family run b & b right on a canal to be delightful and we would stay here again. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size and very clean with everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed was comfortable and everything was well taken care of. The home cooked breakfast cooked by Jon was so very good. There were no restaurants near to the b & b. You could ride into Abcoude or the next little town (around 15-20 bike ride away) and there were several to choose from.

Would definitely stay here again and I’d recommend it 100% if you’re looking to stay away from the craziness of the city. It’s a very peaceful place and everything was clean and comfortable.

Personally, the bed was too soft for since I prefer a very firm mattress due to my back. But this is mostly about preferences.

• Kerry (10/5): Lovely getaway close to Amsterdam - Easy to reach from Amsterdam. We were going to cycle but the weather wasn't great but we were easily able to get an Uber (about €25 each way). Room was lovely - very big and all the amendments you'd need :) comfy bed, lovely bathroom and snacks and soft drinks included. We requested a room with a bathtub and this was no trouble at all :) Breakfast was fresh with good variety and the sauna was great!
