- D & M (3/5): Dealing with Terrible People - Location Management was unprofessional and rude. They didn't provide a double room like I booked with 2 double beds. I was traveling with a palliative senior. They did not change the accommodations. Blamed Booking.com and offered nothing for compensation.

I really dislike the white LEDs for lighting, so I appreciated the one lamp that had warm light. We had asked for a quiet room, so I guess that's why we got the room around the corner that was like a cave because we couldn't open the curtains for light, and we couldn't see a hint of the gorgeous mountains around us. I would ask for a different room if we were to stay again.

I had to do a little cleaning before using the bathroom, that was the only minor inconvenience. Beautiful views. Quiet at night. Great surveillance. Recommend and would stay again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not great - The first front clerk was great, the second (when we checked out) not so much. The jacuzzi tub ledge had dirt and old water marks (from cups) on it, there was a cute glycerine soap there that was used by someone previous (it was wrapped with cellophane but the cellophane was gone in parts). The bathroom sink was clogged, even to wash our hands it filled up. I told the clerk when checking out and she wasn't phased, didn't say anything but "I'll let the cleaner know". I wasn't going to let her know about anything else with her disinterested attitude. The shower was barely enough to fit one person in (definitely can't bend over if you drop your soap) The bed was absolutely atrocious! Anytime someone moved it made noise. It was so hard and the springs poked. FYI - the couch was more comfortable to sleep on. It's a loud place, not from the train in the back nor the traffic out front but, from the workers who stay there (a large greyhound type bus full). The gravel parking lot (out back where the bus parked) stirred up a lot of dust from traffic so having a window/deck door open, or sitting on the private deck, wasn't possible. The deck furniture was coated in dirt.

- Sheila (7/5): Good stay overall but the manager needs more training about accessibility. - Kerri at the front desk was absolutely lovely. Free cookies! Coffee shop and liquor store are a 2 minute walk away. Plenty of restaurants in the area. We recently stayed at your property and had requested an accessible room in advance of our arrival. While we were informed there was only one accessible room on-site, it unfortunately was not suitable for our stay. That said, we were offered a ground-floor room which met our needs and was appreciated. Unfortunately, our arrival was marred by a concerning issue regarding accessible parking as the accessible parking spot was occupied. With the lot full and us temporarily double-parked, I asked the front desk if there was an alternative accessible parking space available. I was informed that the manager was parked in the only designated accessible spot, but she “had a placard.” I found this decision quite troubling. The manager, as I later observed, was seated comfortably in the lobby with a roboboot on one leg. She was clearly mobile and capable of walking short distances. In contrast, we were traveling with someone who uses a wheelchair and relies heavily on appropriate accessible infrastructure for mobility and comfort. When I questioned the manager about occupying the accessible space, she responded that she was “in a lot of pain.” I explained that while that might be the case, my companion’s needs are different; her mobility impairment is permanent and requires consistent and thoughtful accommodation. The manager offered to move her car in “five minutes” but ultimately got up and did so right away. We had, in the meantime, parked in a distant spot that proved navigable but unnecessarily difficult. What remains deeply frustrating is that this situation was avoidable. A few practical alternatives could have included: Marking a reserved space for the manager temporarily during her recovery. Asking a colleague or the person she was with to drop her off and park the vehicle elsewhere. Utilizing short-term parking by the door for personal needs without taking the only accessible spot intended for guests. As a manager in the hospitality industry, especially at a facility with only one accessible room and one accessible parking space, there is an even greater responsibility to plan ahead and ensure that those limited accommodations are available for guests who rely on them. It was disappointing to see that foresight and sensitivity were lacking.
- Linda (5/5): Passable - Hot cookies offered when checking in. Location was good. It was fairly clean inside. A/C made a terrible noise and didn't cool well. Towels were not fluffy. Outside was dirty as balcony and steps needed swept.

While it wasn’t terrible, it could have been better maintained to make guests feel more comfortable. With a bit more attention to cleanliness, this place could easily earn higher ratings.
