The bed was exceptional. - The bed was super comfortable and cozy, the reception staff were very polite and helpful. Also the location was perfect as it was quite but with easy access into central London The WiFi connection in our room wasn’t great, we couldn’t receive or make calls very well.

Our flight was in the early hours, so I can not comment on the breakfast. But we had Sunday lunch the evening before and was very good. Food and drinks very reasonable. The staff were very pleasant ☺️ taxie ride to Heathrow was about 30mins just b4 rush hour at £27.00 Would highly recommend. Nothing

- Adrian (8/5): Nice clean place with good food. - Beautiful big room on the ground floor. Very comfortable bed which had a mattress topper, plush duvet and soft pillows. Too soft for me but that is a personal preference only. Individual thermostat control which was great! Nice bath tub & separate shower cubicle. You could hear the person above our room walking around their room. We were awaken by a man upstairs talking loudly on the phone at around 7am and then singing at least for an hour. So much for having a lie in. We know it’s not the fault of the hotel or that it’s an old building but not what you want when you want to relax.

Staff were exceptional and it was one of the best stays we have experienced in a long time. Nothing.

Handy for bus stops with loads of parking spaces for our car. The hearth in the bar was not highlighted as having a lip when dusk with low light set in. Already reported to the hotel.

So convenient for West Ruislip station and 30 mins into the city. Excellent food, great service and such a relaxing pub. Money off drinks and food for residents. Cant believe how much value for money you get here. Family room is massive, coffee machine, fridge, sofa. So relaxing. Will come again, been twice already.

Limited availability from the menu in the restaurant but I must stress this did not detract from an otherwise excellent stay...again! Moaners will always find something to whine about, I focus on the positives and there are many to be found in the red lion!

Excellent service from very friendly staff A great tea tray with delicious shortbread and plenty of good quality tea and coffee Glass bottled water in fridge, along with fresh bottled milk. The restaurant food was excellent. A small menu but really well cooked food, perfectly presented. The bed was so uncomfortable. The room was very cold on arrival but was so hot in the night and we couldn't get the right balance on the air con.

- KANAN (8/5): Great find! - I had no expectations from this hotel when I booked it. All I was concerned about was to get the work that took me there, done. But the place completely took me by surprise! The hotel is so beautiful - with nice decore, good rooms and a very welcoming restaurant with a cute little pub. Highly recommended! The only thing that scared me was the cemetery next door! Else the hotel is situated close to the bus station and is easy to access.

- Laura (9/5): Great place to stay; - Staff are really friendly and helpful at bother the bar/restaurant and hotel. You feel safe and secure as there are security barriers upon entrance and exit to both car parks and the hotel itself requiring key cards to access the hotel. On the main road however the rooms are suituated to the rear of the building so you get no noise from the road. Great location as easy to get to and from both by car and public transport. Hotel communal areas and rooms are spotless. The pillows on the bed are really thin and could be better (I did ask for more and they were provided straight away) other than that all was great.

La chambre familiale est un très grand atout pour une famille de cinq et en plus des bornes pour des véhicules électriques sont super pratiques après un long voyage. Le petit déjeuner est très agréable et la salle est très belle ! Un hôtel qui a du charme. Mince, le troisième lit pour enfant n'est pas prêt...eh bien aucun souci, un petit appel à la réception et le tour est joué, tout le nécessaire arrive dans la minute qui suit !
