- Josip (1/5): - Please contact me for details.
- Renee (10/5): -
- JUDY (8/5): - Great location No breakfast included
- Chappell (10/5): -
- Lesleyann (7/5): - Clean roomy No staff at night so when leaving at 4am felt very vulnerable
- Deborah (3/5): Cleanliness not up to stratch! - No instant coffee or tea bags in room.
The room was not clean - there was rubbish on carpet and the kitchen floor was sticky and needed washing.
The curtain was draping over the heater - the curtain should be shortened. This is a safety issue.
Heater was very noisy.
I was not able to check-in early.
- Greg (9/5): - Close to all activities
Fully equipped galley kitchen
Appears to be recently updated No housekeeping service during entire 7 night stay
Direct TV- couldn’t see football games on networks
- RON (8/5): - Good for a short stay
- Casey (8/5): - Staff was friendly and room was nice and well maintained.
- Jackie (9/5): -
- John (8/5): - Great location and comfortable tons. Unfortunately, we didn’t get maid service the days we were there so no new towels and no coffee refill.
- Amy (10/5): - Spacious suite, comfy bed, walk to most everything in Sitka
- Ann (10/5): - The Aspen suites in Sitka has the kindest and caring staff I’ve ever experienced. The location is absolutely perfect, close to both activities and many restaurants. My room was impeccably, clean, check in simple, check out simple, and the transportation shuttle was as quick as could be at the airport. This will be my place to stay from now on in Sitka, Alaska.!
- Daniel (8/5): - It's beautiful. It's Sitka.
- Thomas (9/5): - Clean room friendly staff No food or drinks available
- Andres (7/5): -
- Walter (10/5): -
- Margaret (2/5): Don’t leave any valuables behind! - Great location downtown. I left my jewelry/makeup bag behind and when I called the next day it could not be located. I came by the hotel and asked permission to look myself. The front desk clerk claimed nobody entered the room except him and the room did look exactly as we left it except that someone had stripped the bed. I believe that person stole my jewelry/makeup bag. 5 of my favorite pairs of earrings (some which were expensive) vanished. I know the hotel says it cannot be responsible for items left behind but I wonder why when only employees enter the room. I will never stay there again.
- Martina (8/5): Very convenient hotel in terms of facilities (laundry, kitchenette, garbage disposal) and location. -
- Eric (8/5): - Overall a good experience. Clean room, comfortable bed, helpful staff
- William (10/5): - Nicest property in Sitka. Will stay here again.
- Terry (10/5): -
- Dolores E (10/5): - Everthing was perfect. Walking distance of just about anything
- Anthony (10/5): -
- Mary (8/5): No Food - No dining options at the hotel.
- Meredith (9/5): Good for a short stay in Sitka - Well appointed and clean property in the heart of Sitka. Easy to get to all of the sites of interest in Sitka. Shuttle from Airport was a welcome bonus Not much
- Nicole (10/5): - Very convenient to walk to everything downtown. Has a free airport shuttle. Rooms are large and have kitchenettes. Friendly reception.
- Joseph (10/5): - Expensive??
- Karen (10/5): - Clean, easy check in, good location, airport shuttle
- Jane (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): - Very spacious and well laid out rooms with great kitchen facilities and full size fridge. Very clean and comfortable place to stay
- Shweta (7/5): Good -
- Susan (7/5): Good -
- Ron (9/5): Excellent accommodations for a Sitka stay. - I also requested rooms on the highest floor with a harbor view. Not only was my request met, we were given the largest room in the hotel! Nothing.
- Cecilia (4/5): the room i was assigned was not the one i booked. 1 sofa bed missing in the room - location
bed there is no sense of hospitality in the venue
the A/C is pre-historic
- Gwen (6/5): Convenient - The gentleman on night service was great. Expensive for 1 night. Thought we were getting 2 beds, I stead one bed and a pull out.
- CHARLES (6/5): - We needed an overnight room before joining our cruise ship. The shuttle picked us up in a timely manner at 11:00pm. The hotel is perfectly located in the middle of town, the rooms were clean and the staff helpful in finding a place for breakfast.
- Ceilings (8/5): Comfortable suites - Our stay was comfortable, the rooms are large and in good condition, has all the utensils you need to prepare simple meals (microwave, cooktop, fridge, coffee maker)
Supermarket just around the block.
Like all of Sitka, nights are quiet, however from 4am onwards, people start waking up to go fishing, so unless you are a deep sleeper, you will hear noise!
The in-house laundry room is an excellent plus, many washers and dryers.
Overall we liked the Aspen suites and would stay here again (best in town)
- Verified traveler (6/5): Great location - Clean. Couch pulled out to a bed. But can fe metal pole in the middle. Walking distance from downtown.
- Brian (10/5): - Our room was quiet and clean. Great location near all attractions.
- Eric (9/5): Overall a good value - Overall a nice hotel in a nice location. The staff and amenities were good and the room was comfortable. I didn't have a chance to have breakfast because the airport ride leaves two hours before the flight departs so I had to leave at around 4AM! This is the only really annoying thing about your hotel. There is no reason I need to be at the airport two hours before my flight at a small airport like Sitka.
- Verified traveler (10/5): 2 comfy nights in Sitka - Very nice hotel in downtown Sitka. Clean comfortable room and best of all, the hotel has a laundry room. This was my main reason for booking since we were coming off a cruise and needed to do laundry before continuing on with the rest of our trip. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the Sitka Historic Park from this very nice hotel.
- Elsie (8/5): Pleasant convenient perch in Sitka - Location was lovely, easy walk to all attractions. Sitka is charming and deserves a day for exploration so we stayed two nights. We stayed before embarking on a cruise and they were very accommodating about storing luggage and connecting with cruise line for luggage transfer. Alaska hotels are expensive and generally short on amenities. As Alaska hotels go, this one is on the higher end but has Minimal lobby and public space. The stay does not include breakfast tho many options are nearby.
- Cleve (10/5): - Clean, quiet, and centrally located. Would stay again.
- william (10/5): - Nice property close to shopping and restaurants.
- Gaetano (7/5): Good - Location Control AC
- Sombaht (8/5): Great location, good coffee, clean! - Great location, good coffee, clean.
- Bobby (7/5): Overnight Stay - Location, available shuttle to the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom door (slider) would not stay closed.
- Ralph (8/5): Very good -
- Adair (9/5): Superb -
- Hashi (10/5): - Great location for walking around town and local eateries. Room was clean and service helpful.
- David (10/5): - Overnight before heading out to a lodge. Very clean, good sized room with a kitchen. Walking distance to everything.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Very good -
- Cynthia (10/5): - Easy check in. Nice front staff, room was clean
- Charlotte (10/5): Clean, kind and great location - Very comfortable beds and lovely staff members, very clean and close for the town.
- Edward (7/5): Good -
- Linda (9/5): Good Choice for Sitka - Located in easy walking distance to where the cruise ships come in. Clean comfortable rooms. Nice laundry facility - the front desk can make change needed for the machines The early morning front desk worker was rude, but the person who was there later in the day was great.
- Randy (6/5): - Great stay! Convenient to shopping and restaurants.
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Elizabeth (8/5): An excellent location - Location is superb, spacious room appreciated Not overly well equipped…no kettle! No dessert nor soup spoons! Couch was worn and lumpy.
- Clayton (8/5): - ===
- Andrea (10/5): - The Aspen Suites in Sitka, AK was so clean and well taken care of. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the showers where hot and had good water pressure. The hotel offers useful amenaties and the location is so perfect for easy walking all over town. We truly enjoyed our time here.
- Janet (10/5): - Nice hotel - very convenient, too!
- Pamela (10/5): - It was clean, comfortable and the staff was great!
My only "complaint" is that all of the pillows were thick, which causes neck issues for me. I like when there are a couple of optional sizes on the bed.
- Alaska Photography (10/5): - One of the front staff needs a bit more training on customer service. Other staff members were great
- Brian (10/5): - Very centrallly located.. Nice room with all amenities. Friendly staff. Shuttle service to and from airport
- Raymond (10/5): - Very clean.
- Karen (10/5): - Emergency stay since our flight was canceled. Very nice accommodations
- Debra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janice (7/5): Good -
- George (10/5): - Nice view out the window very quiet during the evening.
- sarah (10/5): - Comfortable hotel, close to everything downtown and happy they partnered with the Westmark for shuttle services to and from the hotel for the airport.
- Allen (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (10/5): We were very happy with our room and location. The staff was very friendly and courteous -
- Connie (10/5): - Very nice people, clean and comfortable. Will definitely plan on staying there again my next trip to Sitka.
- Wilcox, (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- ethelwold (10/5): True Hospitality - I was treated with the utmost kindness here when I was stranded and waiting for a flight out the next day. Emily, the manager, rented me a room at a very low price when my debit card was out of funds at month's end, and I had a limited amount of cash. There was free coffee in the lobby and the room, excellent TV service, and very friendly staff. I couldn't recommend this hotel more highly.
- Dieter (8/5): Great facility well located. - Location central to Sitka downtown Small bed and would have preferred a king size.
- Benjohnson (8/5): Very good -
- DarienJim (4/5): What a dump....very disappointed - I was socked how poor a hotel this was given the 4 and 5 star reviews in TA. Not sure what those reviewers saw in this hotel, but this is similar to some of the worst big box hotel chains in the USA.
Lobby is non-existent, the foam beds are horrible and our room looked out the a very loud parking lot. Controlling temperature in the room was poor.
Cannot recommend...
- Douglas (9/5): Superb -
- 1kflyer (9/5): Superb - Quiet and comfortable room overlooking the street. We felt safe in the area. It is close to a handful of places to eat. Very helpful staff. The kitchenette was convenient for us No porters if you have difficulty managing your own luggage.
- Campbell (10/5): Great place in the heart of Sitka - Emily rocks! All the staff are very responsive, but she's a gem Nothing.
- Vilmain (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel, very good breakfast
- Patricia (10/5): Exceptional -
- vox69nn (8/5): Good accomodation. - We stayed here after disembarking from an Alaska Dream Cruise. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable with nice amenities for the bathroom and coffee to help us wake up. Service at the desk was OK but sometimes we saw no one standing there so had to say "Hello?". Then someone would come fairly promptly. Appreciated the courtesy service to Sitka Airport although it came a bit later than expected. (Well located for touring Sitka on foot.)
- Dorota (10/5): Great place to stay in Sitka!! - Rooms were very clean and neat. Very close to downtown. They have now added a shuttle which is nice. Coffee not available until 7:00 AM.. If you are fishing this is too late since most charters depart at 6:00
- Erica (8/5): - Gym could be bigger
- Stoney (8/5): Very good -
- Lawrence (7/5): Staff that I met would barely look at you. They didn’t seem happy during their job. - Clean Sad staff
- dennys34 (8/5): Nice hotel - Rooms are comfortable you get a coffee 24 /7 staff is very friendly. Probably the best hotel in Sitka bedding is OK all attractions are walkable from the hotel. There is no breakfast. The hotel has 100 rooms. There is a shuttle from the airport free of charge.
- Christina (10/5): Exceptional - Confortable bed and good air temperature and flow controls, great bathroom and water pressure. extremely expensive
- Jaden (6/5): Was decent. Served its purpose. - Clean. Cost and additional cost for early check in.
Less than friendly staff.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (8/5): Very good - Good sized room and bathroom. Great location Nothing
- William (10/5): - Very nice rooms, extremely clean.
- Michael (10/5): - Our room was clean and ready when we arrived. this property is centrally located and within walking distance to most attractions, excursion locations and food options. We would stay here again.
- Cheng (9/5): Lovely place to stay in Sitka. - Great location. Friendly staff.
