AI LING (10/5): - We are welcome by the team of friendly and smiling staffs from the resort. Billy helped to check us in and also shared the info of the resort to us. He even buggy us for around for a quick tour. We also went to nearby hawker for some local food and folowed by massage. Food was also good in the resort and we had a wonderful stay.
Konstantinos (6/5): - During our recent stay, we were particularly impressed by the staff, who were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. Their efforts made us feel welcome and special, and the service provided was warm and genuine. The facilities themselves, at least in the unit we occupied, were well-serviced and we were accommodated in many thoughtful ways by the team. However, we did notice that the ceiling of our tent had accumulated mold, which should be addressed through proper cleaning and disinfection. Given the cost of the stay, we feel that such an issue does not reflect the level of condition that guests would reasonably expect. Overall, while the staff and service were outstanding, attention to this maintenance matter would greatly enhance the quality and value of the experience.
Shu (8/5): - Stayed 2 nights for a family vacation (2 adults, 1 2-years-old). Very close to the ferry terminal, with complimentary shuttle bus from/to the terminal and property. The property was great with a huge pool in front of the tents. Breakfast was good, especially the Masala Tea. Would have been even better if the menu changed a little more for the 2 days. The afternoon tea was very cost efficient, but not the highest quality type. The BBQ at tent was a good experience. Had the Indonesian menu, the shirmp was especially good. Inside the tent was spacious and clean.

Bryan Ting On (10/5): Excellent Family Resort with tons of activities - My family had a blast at Natra Bintan. This resort is very family friendly, all the staff are very polite and helpful. We signed up the kids activities package with Treasure Bay, if you are hotel guest, you will enjoy 20% off discount which is a really good deal as you can utilize the voucher for 2 days span. We also love the food at the hotel, kids eat for free and there is a good variety of choices. I highly recommend this resort and will definitely revisit again in the near future.

Aarthi (2/5): - God awful experience staying here. No one shud ever come here thinking it will be quiet and peaceful. They keep hosting so many noisy horrid events which either start at 5am or go on till late in night. This country has no sense of modulating noise or have a sense of hospitality. They think everyone enjoys a gawdy, noisy event . We will never ever be back ! And pls pls there are soo many better resorts here . I personally recommend Angsana and Banyan tree. Made a mistake booking here this time. Nightmarish experience.

Rooms were cozy and aircon was very cooling as the weather outside was extremely hot. The walk to Treasure Bintan activity centre was quite a distance to walk. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Natra Bintan and we would definitely choose Natra Bintan again. It’s near to BBT ferry terminal.
Stacy (10/5): Amazing stay - As a family of 2 adults and a daughter aged 12 we stayed for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The staff are so helpful considerate and always have a smile on their faces. The taxi driver Antonio was especially helpful with trips to different areas. The food was delicious lots of choices and never a bad meal, the cost of the food was very reasonable for a hotel and the standard was consistently good. You also have access to the lagoon with the water park which was great fun trying wakeboarding for the first time. We have lots of happy memories from our stay. Please remember you are staying in a tent and although it is a luxurious tent it does not have sound proofing so remember ear plugs if a light sleeper. I am a light sleeper but was fine without any earplugs but just so people are aware. We did have a couple of downpours but soon cleared and dried up. A lovely hotel elevated higher by the staff.
Har Heng (10/5): - The staff are excellent. They are helpful, patient, kind, smiling alot, always ready to help and look out for our needs. The buggy service is top of all. My sister has a bad ankle and can't walk distance. The buggy will come round and take us all the time. Never at any time think we were troublesome. Really appreciate the service staff! Note to management - there are molds on the top of the tent. May be good to treat that.

While booking expedient showed picture which don't dipict of what we got as booking, in picture it was showing indoor bath tub jacuzzi but in reality it was outdoor whirlpool. We find it was kind of entrapment, but staff was very helpful and help us to upgrade at discounted price. Was disappointed with expedia blindsiding us but at least hotel staff tried their best but it cost us more than we committed while booking.

Lennon (10/5): Relaxing Resort Stay - We love the lagoon at Treasure Bay. The hotel rooms are not the standard hotel types. We love the set up. There is nothing nearby hotel so it’s a good place to get away from crowd. U can dine in the resort restaurant or another one at Ammon hoyle just next door. The staff are superb friendly and helpful. U can be ferry by bungee if u don’t want to walk too much.

ANG YU (10/5): - We booked 2 rooms at Natra Bintan with pool view, very beautiful place and well maintained! There is only one restaurant in Natra Bintan, of course you can get a buggy to go to another resort for food but must say restaurant at Natra Bintan is the better one. Free transport to-and-fro ferry terminal makes the stay very convenient and stressless! No need to bring cash, everything can be charged to the room or credit card. We enjoyed the stay there.
Nidhi (8/5): - Overall fun stay due to the access to treasure bay. Unfortunately had many issues with the room key card which staff was quick to assist but multiple times creates inconvenience or bathroom shower area being clogged.

Shifeng (8/5): - Friendly helpful staff. Lagoon is beautiful to play in. Too bad you have to pay for all the activities. It was our first glamping experience and the room is really nice. BBQ right outside the tent is highly recommended. They do all the prep and clean up so you just do the fun BBQ and eating. The walls are super thin (cloth). There was a child in the next tent who cried for a long time in the middle of the night. If you happen to have such neighbours, be prepared to have disturbed sleep.

Only let down was the food. It would have been a nice if the breakfast and dining menu can be changed everyday to have some nee highlights.
Mona (6/5): Nice for a working holiday - Check In: The staff member who checked me in was lovely and she answered my questions. A welcome drink would be nice in this climate. Room: The tent is fun but obviously difficult to maintain - fabric walls have some stains. The in room slippers are flip flops that are too small for western feet. There are no bathrobes or pool towels. Coffee and tea in the room is limited to instant coffee and one type of tea - not sure they can say this is a 5 star resort? Amenities: Despite the website and hotel booking sites listing these ammenities there is NO Gym and only one restaurant is open and it’s the same as Singapore prices for restaurant food but not as good. But there are no other options. The spa is open. There are lots of activities you can pay extra for - and pay extra you will - but great for kids. Food: There is only one restaurant on site, but they have decent offering (but a bit over priced for what you get). The Breakfast buffet was fantastic though.

Laura Sze Mien (2/5): I won’t come again - Queued for 30mins for my turn to check in and the check in process was 15mins! And worse was I queued for 40 mins for my turn to check out. Had asked for the manager while queuing twice but didn’t get to see him or her. Seriously, I won’t come again even your good hospitality provided by your staffs. Your awful management and system wasted the effort of your staffs!
Verified traveler (8/5): - Natra was excellent, and service was superb. Only a few things could be improved like: 1) having a shade constructed somewhere along the lagoon to protect from the harsh sun; 2) have taps near the hotel rooms to wash away sand on your feet before entering the room; and 3) nearby toilets around the lagoon area so you don’t need to walk back to the rooms or to the reception area just to relieve yourself. Otherwise, Natra is highly recommended and I’ll give it 2 thumbs up. 👍👍

JS (6/5): - Clean and very nicely maintained property. Staff are friendly and well trained. Room are well designed and furniture fairly new. Being operated by Marriot may have a big part to play in this. However, for the price you pay per night, the resort will need to do so much better than just being clean and nicely maintained. Resort amenities and facilities are severely lacking. It depends entirely on Treasure Bay for activities. December is monsoon season and half of the non air conditioned seatings for its only restaurant is always wet and not available for sitting, leading to guests always having to queue for tables. Monsoon season also means outdoor activities by Treasure Bay are most times closed. That's when you start to look for indoor activities and sadly there are almost none available. Variety and standard of food in its only restaurant is also disappointing. In summary, Natra is not worth the value it is pricing itself in and it will be extremely difficult to convince myself to go again. Do note practically all activities by Treasure Bay is chargeable. Hence the amount you paid for Natra is only for your stay alone. The same amount will get you a top 5 star Marriot hotel elsewhere.

The egg station output is not at par where the supposedly over easy scrambled eggs came out dry and overcooked, while the sunny side up egg had egg whites burned. For lunch, I was expecting authentic local food items, but the Indonesian food I had was far bland compared to the Indonesian food I had elsewhere.

Would be good if the hotel inform us that we can discount on the activities at Treasure Cove as well as arranging free transportation to go to the Mangrove Kelong restaurant.
Amy (8/5): - This is a great place to chill and relax for families. Lagoon was well designed and maintained. However, the room was not thoroughly cleaned - I can spot strains of hairs on the sofa bed and floor was sticky. Only 1 bottle of complementary mineral water was provided. No top up of bath shower gel and shampoo.

MICHAEL (10/5): Absolutely recommend this place - Absolutely brilliant service and experience for us and our 4 year old son. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful for the whole visit, from check in, at restaurant, house keeping etc. Room was lovely, slight staining on carpet in front of AC unit from the dripping I think but bed was v comfortable and the outside toilet and shower area was done very well and nice to hear the local lizards and frogs! Beach area was very clean and water lovely. Would definitely return and can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent stay - It was an excellent stay. All of us, a family of 4, enjoyed our dexule glamping tent and the activities at Activity Centre. The crystal lagoon water was crystal clear. We enjoyed our swim and rental float. My girl like to slip and slide too. Not forgetting their mini ATV was their favourite as well. However, all activities come with additional cost. You must be willing to pay in order to enjoy. However, alternatively, you can also swim in the lagoon. As a hotel guest, you need not pay for the Treasure Bay entrance fees. The hotel will provde the guest with a wrist band to identify themselves. The hotel also provide a buggy to travel around including to the Treasure Bay. But having a scooter is very convenient as sometimes we might need to wait for the buggy. You can rent the scooter in Activity Centre. Just a note for those who have read the old reviews or blogs, due to the change of Management, the hotel will not provide complimentary scooter for dexule glamping tent. But I think that is good for safety reason, at least the rider will be 'trained' at the activity centre before riding. Before I ended, I will like to compliment all the staff. They are all super friendly and approachable. I will especially like to highlight Ah Long who was our buggy driver. He is professional and explain the safety rules patiently to my girls who wanted to sit at the back of the long buggy. He also always warmly greet us whenever they met us. Good job, Ah Long. We will be back.
Richard (10/5): Fantastic resort - We had a fantastic 2 night stay at this great resort. It was our first time to try out glamping, and we were splendidly surprised. The place was clean and the staff were wonderfully helpful and courteous! I would definitely consider coming back.

Bed frame was creaky, creaks with every slight movement. Tent is not sound proof, can hear people talking, lizard sound and planes flying past at night. Great variety for buffet breakfast, staff serves you coffee/tea. All staffs were very friendly in the resort. The food prices here are slightly cheaper than nirwana gardens.

Upon checkout, our ferry tickets were already collected on our behalf, all we had to do is show up at the departure hall. We felt really special. - Staff : Very friendly and helpful. The room service staff even made an elephant out of towels after they cleaned up, super cute! - Room/Bed : Clean, beautiful, spacious and romantic. Huge comfy bed with 2 pull out beds additional bed not required. Outdoor toilet was a nice touch. - Facilities: Beautiful man-made lake/swimming pool. Shuttle services available to head to the activity centre for water & land sports, massage and kids indoor playground. If you are lazy, you can call a buggy to come pick you up anytime. Their lobby is really inviting with a table for small children to play some games while waiting. - Food : Breakfast spread was awesome! - Wifi : Strong and stable. The OK: - Surroundings : Nothing much to do outside the facility within short walking/driving distance. Conclusion: Highly recommended for anyone who wants a short getaway for any reason. Will definitely come back again!

Yi Ping (10/5): Fantastic stay - It was our first time coming to Bintan. At first we were worried that we would be bored since it seemed like there wasn’t too much to do besides relaxing at our resort. However, we found plenty of things to do, and our stay at the canopy was incredible. Every request or question that we had the staff were able to help us in a friendly way, even when we felt that we were bothering them quite a lot. Agustan not only helped us book and get us transportation to go release baby turtles, but after mentioning that it was my girlfriend’s birthday, they came to our room and surprised us with a cake and singing. I have never felt so well accommodated in a hotel. The breakfast buffet is also really good. Plenty of different items to eat. We always ate so much. Thanks for your hospitality, from the front desk to the cooks to everyone in Canopy.

By 8am they ran out of black tea- never stocked back until night. Negligent on vegetarian options. The hash browns were cold and dry.

Mabel (4/5): - Fridge wasn't working well, not cold. TV remote not working well, got it changed then TV broke down on our last day. BBQ foods were not too fresh esp the the prawns. Patio restaurant food can be improved, food on some days are better than others. Housekeeping is lacking, hung the sign out for cleaning every morning but nobody came - except with clean towels and only upon request. Shower mixer temperature can get too hot even when turned slightly to hot side. Showerhead and handheld - both water pressure very low. Bouncy castle was risky for young children but not properly advised during payment. Even when we asked if 4yo could go on, we were still not advised of danger of playing at own risk; lucky our younger child didn't want to play in the end. We were told no lifeguard or supervision when we informed we cannot swim but we already made payment by then.
