• Haynoosh (8/5): Mysigt hotell tvärs över tågstationens entré - Ett stenkast från tågstationen, ca 20-25min promenad från citykärnan. Stort fint rum med modernt badrum, mjuka, fluffiga handdukar. Liten hiss, vacker byggnad, nyckel till rummet som man lämnar in i receptionen. Tram och bussar framför entrén, perfekt för en-tre nätters vistelse. Lyhört i korridoren men stördes ej av trafik/utrop från tågstationen utanför. Trevlig personal som tog emot mig.

• E Ann (8/5): - We absolutely wanted to be easily near Gare St Jean for 5:30am with a 24-hour front desk (so tick & tick), but still be a decent hotel. Hotel Regina fit the bill! It is historic (stairs unfortunately make it not accessible for some), but has air conditioning (which we appreciated in a heat wave), & is fairly priced. Although noise was mentioned in some reviews, & that can certainly be a complaint for us in some accommodations, it was not our experience for this stay. Cannot comment on breakfast as we did not partake either day. We were able to walk by the river to the old town & back by various streets. Restaurants are nearby & shops to buy food & drinks.

• Johannes (8/5): - Een handig hotel op reis, pal tegenover het station. Vriendelijk personeel en een ontbijtbuffet van 5 tot 10.30, handig als je een trein moet halen. Het centrum is met 2km goed te belopen, maar er rijden ook ruimschoots trams en bussen. Het hotel zelf is wat gedateerd, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er: een goed bed, een douche en wasbak en toilet, airco en vooral een ontspannen prettige sfeer.

• Peter (10/5): - Charming hotel with great staff. Can't beat the location or price. I asked for a quiet room and they delivered! I don't eat breakfast, but later in the day, they had a little basket of Croissants that were self serve if you wanted a snack. It was a nice touch. Very easy access to the train station, and the trams and busses that go everywhere.

Chambre propre et calme. Dommage de ne pas avoir de quoi se faire une boisson chaude dans la chambre. Le oetit déjeuner est correct avec ce qu'il faut.
• Jérémie (6/5): - Séjour d'une nuit dans l'hôtel Chambre simple mais assez propre même si le matelas était taché en dessous. Le gros point noir est la salle de bain qui à besoin d'une rénovation et d'un nettoyage (joint de carrelage noir). Le petite déjeuner est basique mais suffisant dans l'absolue.

But the decor in the room was awful - brown, drab, old-fashioned; the power points in the wall were loose and unsafe; and, worst of all, the bed was too low and uncomfortable. Also, we found the hotel was over-priced by about 30 euros per day compared with other, more modern hotels within walking distance of the Regina.
• Christian (8/5): - Hotel Regina is in an excellent location, the reason i chose this hotel was for the transport links to and from the airport, tram line was adjacent to hotel. Hotel was exactly what we wanted, also close to some nice cafe/restaurants.
• monique (10/5): Tres bien ! - Tres beau sejour a l hotel Regina, tout le personnel tres accueillant et souriant. Chambre avec vue sur les toits, aucun bruit ! Idealement situé juste en face de la gare. Je suis venue pour le marathon et j ai donc pu prendre le train pour Pauillac tres sereinement. Et le top du top petit dejeuner a partir de 5h ! Je recommande vivement !
• Florence (10/5): Une escale honnête - Un hôtel sans prétention mais avec un très bon accueil, une chambre très propre avec des serviettes de toilettes douces et confortables. Très beau coucher de soleil sur la ville depuis ma chambre du 3ème étage.
• SHAUN (10/5): - Excellent location for us, as we needed to catch an early train the next day. The rooms are nothing special, but for the price and location, it’s a good option.
• Emilie (4/5): Espace dédié au public au top, Chambre gros flop - Chambre déprimante, déco vieillote comparée à l'entrée et à la réception qui elle est très agréable. le personnel est top mais la chambre sent comme un sac d'aspirateur trop plein de poussière, la salle de bain pue, ça sent presque le caca ou les égouts. la clim ne sert à rien. L'eau chaude met tellement de temps à arriver que j'ai commencé à me laver à l'eau froide et soudain l'eau chaude est arrivée. la moquette est tachée et la télé est payante! On a l'impression de dormir dans un placard oublié! Vu le prix quelle déception. tout a été basé sur le hall et l'espace avant les chambre et le salon mais si toutes les chambres étaient comme la mienne!!!! La veille j'ai dormi dans un hotel à 33 euros de moins avec chambre hyper charmante et plus de prestation alors que c'était un hotel tout simple!!! Je m'attendais à un ptit hotel sympa, ( même si cher car c'est Bordeaux) mais là gros coup de déprime!! le soir de mon anniversaire en plus!

• Francis (10/5): - Very convenient position, immediately opposite Bordeaux's main train station. Clean room with good aircon. I enjoyed the breakfast which was not expensive. 24 Hour front desk - an important feature opposite a busy transport hub. Friendly staff who all spoke enough English for my needs. Would use again.

The description said the hotel was soundproofed but you could hear noise outside such as tram bells and people talking in the next room. People coming and going and locking nearby doors was also very disruptive. There was no tea / coffee tray as shown in the photos for this type of room. The room and bed were not comfortable and in dedperate need of an update.

• Manfred (6/5): - Parquet flottant de la chambre 3 hors d'âge. Tour de baignoire abimé. Trace de cigarette sur le bord du meuble vasque. La prise USB pour recharger les téléphone ne fonctionne pas. Tuyau de douche endommagé et trop court pour pouvoir accrocher la pomme de douche sans que cela ne pince le tuyau. Petit déjeuner catastrophique ! Mauvaises viennoiseries industrielles, aucun fruit !... Un pain de mie miteux et du jambon et du fromage industriel, voila tout. Mais le signal est clair, vous pouvez vous faire cuire un oeuf ! Le tout pour 10.50 €. Seul point positif, le petit déjeuner commençant à 5 h, vous pouvez prendre un train tôt et la gare est en face.

• CAIO (2/5): Sofrimento - O quarto tinha tanto mofo e umidade, que estou ainda com dificuldades de respirar, mesmo 5 horas após o checkout e tive que tomar anti-histamínico para dormir. Comuniquei a recepção que propos um outro quarto que estava pior, não convinha trocar. Fora isso, uma infestação de mosquitos que tivemos que matar , e depois de reclamar, foi oferecido um repelente elétrico. De boa, a localização.

If you understand that and know that old hotels like this one have very small elevators and often bathrooms, then you will be able to appreciate this one. It is super convenient to the train, tram and taxis. It is very well maintained. Very cleanly. The staff could not be nicer. The price is right! The breakfast was excellent value for money in a pleasant room.

• Ward (8/5): A quick 2 night stay in Bordeaux - This hotel is very convenient if you arrive from or leaving from Gare St Jean. You can fall out of bed and be at the station. I found the bathroom very small in my room, others could be different. The room itself was nice and comfortable. Access to the main tram lines is just across the street. A nice cafe to quench one's palate is just outside the door.

• Martin (4/5): - Très déçu, j’ai offert cette nuit à mes parents de 72 ans pour une nuit étape entre deux train. Ils n’ont pas pu prendre de douche. L’eau était glacée !!! J’attends toujours un appel de la direction…

Salle de bain glaciale (probablement <10°C). Très bruyant (tram, éboueurs,...) mais bon, comme juste en face de la gare, il fallait s'y attendre.
