• Affif (8/5): - The location was really good! Only 6 mins walk from the location of the conference. Also very well connected to the city centre. I did request two twin beds when I made the reservation but we were given a room with a double bed. It wasn't a huge deal but if were weren't such close friends it may have been an issue.

• Dorothy (10/5): Great choice! - It was a very small hotel, traditionally and tastefully decorated, which sad along a canal. Contained into buildings, the reception and dining were in one and the rooms in another. My room was very large and overlooked the canal. It was quiet and dark at night, and the perfect home away from home. The breakfast offered is a good value, with a buffet selection of fruits, cereal, meats, cheeses, yogurt, breads, pastries, and beverages. Omelets and other eggs are available as part of the price. I had a problem with the tv streaming. The hotel staff believes it was because I use an Apple phone. It worked with their phones. A little disappointing in the evenings, but access to streaming tv would never ruin my stay.
• yoko (7/5): のんびり優雅に滞在 - 朝食で作ってもらえる分、卵料理とかがあって良かった（はじめは良く英語が聞き取れなくて分かりにくかったが。） スタッフもフレンドリーで、建物や室内が風情があり、部屋の環境も快適で優雅な気分の滞在が出来た。 冷蔵庫が無かったので不便だった。 2階の部屋だったが、階段が狭くて急でこわかった。荷物は小さかったので良かったが、スーツケースだったら大変だろう。 家具も古いもので仕方が無いかもしれないが、立て付けが悪かったり引き出しが開けにくかったりした。

Je ligt ook direct onder de airco.. dus of heel koud of te warm. Kussens ook slecht. Ik had er gezien de prijs van 253,- voor één nacht meer van verwacht.

• Carla (6/5): - Es gibt keinen Aufzug und wenn man nicht das Glück hat ebenerdig zu wohnen, ist es halsbrecherisch seinen Koffer über die schmale, kleine, steile Wendeltreppe nach oben zu bringen. Des Weiteren wurde mir telefonisch versichert vor Ankunft, dass das Personal mit dem Gepäck behilflich sein würde - das war es nicht. Es gibt nur 8 Parkplätze und doppelt so viele Zimmer, was nicht ideal ist, das das Tagesticket auf der Straße über die offizielle App 37 Euro pro Tag kostet.

• Rosemary (10/5): A lovely relaxing stay in Leiden - the hotel and its friendly staff were all part off this. - The room was great - spacious, clean, and we really liked the decor. The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet and effective. It was nice to have a view of the canal from the windows. The location was ideal for walking into the main historical area, and there were lots of restaurants, cafes, and bars to choose from. It was a little noisy late at night when people were walking or cycling past and talking loudly, but it wasn't too much of a problem for us. The stairs to our room on the first floor were steep and narrow, but we were advised of this at the time of booking. The sturdy hand rails helped a lot. The stairs would not put us off staying in the same room again.

The hotel was beautiful, right on a canal on Oude Singel. Really easy walk into the old city. We walked to the Pilgrim museum, botanical gardens, a really nice windmill museum and Lakenhal Museum was right down the street with a Jan Steen exhibit that was amazing. Everything was a walk, multiple canals, classic Dutch architecture and great restaurants. The hotel breakfasts were really delicious and the staff was delightful. Staff could not be friendlier and more accommodating, full of good advice for restaurants and things-to-do. Bravo! Room: Small and simple with a very basic and very small bathroom. 4 stars? Maybe 3 and 1/2 if in good mood... Breakfast: Pleasant, as served in a beautiful lounge. Selection ok (egg menue available), but nothing to write a short story about. Parking: Hotel's own garage just three minutes walk away - very convenient. All in all: Don't hesitate to book at this hotel, but don't expect miracles.

• Marjan (5/5): - Locatie We hadden de bovenverdieping op andere locatie, de tv in zitgelegenheid versprong steeds op een ander kanaal, tv in slaap gedeelte had dit precies zo in de ochtend. Konden niks kijken. (Receptie gesloten) De badkamer is heel klein en was bakje knullig. Badhanddoeken roken naar schimmel! En de deur kan van het appartementje binnenuit niet op slot! Na klacht bij uit checken gaf de receptie aan dat dit automatisch gaat, maar het staat nergens. Slaapt onrustig, al met al veel te veel geld voor alles. We kregen parkeren gecompenseerd maar toch erg teleurgesteld

Das Hotel ist aufgrund gewisser Mängel aber überteuert. - - sehr zentral gelegen - Personal sehr freundlich - Hunde willkommen - Einrichtung schick und zweckmäßig - Kaffee und Tee gratis - im Apartment gut ausgestattete Küche - Betten bequem - Preis- Leistung- Verhältnis unangemessen - Frühstücksbüffet sehr überschaubar, aber teuer - Unterkunft ist nicht barrierefrei (sehr steile Treppen, kein Aufzug), hat uns aber nicht beeinträchtigt - Zimmer zu warm: Fenster zur Gracht hin ließen sich nicht öffnen und Heizung ließ sich nicht runterregeln (lief permanent auf 23,5 Grad Celsius bei 18 Grad Außentemperatur) - Terrasse unliebsam gestaltet, Wohlfühlfaktor null - Bad sehr klein, keine Abstellmöglichkeiten, zu wenige Halterungen für Handtücher, Handtücher waren zum Teil fleckig, Silberfischchen in der Dusche - Parkplatz in einer Garage im Hinterhaus wurde angemietet, dieser ist nur für Kleinwagen geeignet und ebenfalls sehr teuer

Erg fijn dat het hotel een parkeergarage heeft die je kan gebruiken. Personeel was erg vriendelijke en behulpzaam met persoonlijke aandacht, ze doen echt hun best om je in de watten te leggen. Ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid. Er zat helaas een grote kuil in ons bed, waardoor we minder lekker hebben geslapen. We hebben dit aangegeven bij uitchecken. Daarnaast vond ik de handdoeken erg ruw en de temperatuur in de douche er wisselend. Dit is opzich geen probleem, maar voor de prijs die je per nacht betaald verwacht je wel dat alles tot in de puntjes geregeld is en van goede kwaliteit is.

De kamer is stijlvol en de badkamer voldoet aan alle gemakken. Personeel is vriendelijk en professioneel. Wij sliepen bovenin in kamer 13. In de breedte is de kamer een beetje smal. Matras had steviger gekund en de kussens waren wat mij betreft ondermaats. Altijd zonde wanneer een hotel hierop heeft bespaard.

• Amber (7/5): Prima - Een goede locatie. Parkeren kan makkelijk voor de deur. Prima kamer, erg vriendelijk personeel. Badkamer was wel heel erg klein, was ook maar 1 spiegel in de hele kamer en die was op de badkamer. Handdoeken waren ook erg hard.

• Jennifer (5/5): Had een tof romantisch weekend moeten zijn maar is letterlijk en figuurlijk volledig in het water gevallen . Echt teleur - We hadden speciaal gekozen voor deze stijl De ongebruikelijke extra mails van het hotel maakte het al van voor ons verblijf onaangenaam aanvoelen .Maar ik bracht onderweg alles in orde. Waardoor booking ons verblijf ging annuleren en wij hadden zogezegd niet betaald .Het hotel zag er echt top uit , uitstraling ,comfort , ligging, we zaggen het een top weekend worden . Bij ontbijt werden we eerst heel goed ontvangen maar nadien beetje verwaarloosd , we waren de laatste die toekwamen . Doordat het heel slecht weer was waren we niet gehaast , we moesten de stad nog gaan verkennen waren pas laat gearriveerd,maar werden vroeger uit onze kamer gezet zonder dit op voorhand te weten dan checkout tijd . En dit was dan meteen het einde van ons wat een romantisch verlengd weekend moest worden,het was genoeg .
