- Samuel (6/5): - The hotel rooms could be cleaner. The toilets are rickety. with permanent stains. The outside/restaurant area is clean but the rooms are not the best for the price.

- babafunminiyia (4/5): Hotel refunds only a little fraction of my payments inspite of not staying in the property becareful with them - I Booked this hotel on booking.com as refered by triadvisor, I got to the hotel to make payments and I was over charged, I came back to cancel after checking the rooms, I decided to cancel I was told my overcharged amount and the booking was going to be refunded, I have been back and forth with the hotel since then till date they only refunded part of the total I paid making excuses even though the room was sold same night, and I was overcharged. Despite the fact that I sent evidence of the payments.they claim to be fully refundable yet they find it difficult to refund my payment, becareful with this property

- SUSAN (2/5): REFUSED TO ACCEPT I HAD A PAID BOOKING - This hotel refused admission till l paid again even though l had my confirmed booking and receipt from Hotels.com. I had to pay another 60,000 naira for a tiny room with a single bed . l had booked a double delux room with breakfast. They are scammers.. I contacted Hotels.com and they tried to contact the hotel but could not get any answer. I have not received any refund up to now from Hotels.com or the hotel. This is theft and totally unacceptable

- captr2015 (2/5): Not a good hotel to choose near the airport. - Was looking for a nice quiet hotel near the airport. This one was recommended. The road approaching the hotel is in a terrible state of disrepair with my taxi being stuck in potholes. It took over 40 minutes to check in considering a reservation had been made. Having do long to wait we asked for water to be told water is available in the room only unless we wanted to buy water, which we did. Room was small and old. Room aervice took over an hour to deluver a sandwich. Only redeeming factor it has good wifi.

- Emmanuel (6/5): Just one of those days - The whole facility needs an upgrade and the service needs to get better especially the guys at the kitchen. I enjoyed having the guy at the bar around cause he has a way of making our stay worthwhile. The lady at the front desk is an asset did a very commendable job to make me stay an extra night after the first days horror. In all I will rate MSquare a 5 over 10.

- LRB (6/5): - Restaurant staff was great, very helpful, but front desk manager was not great. Tried to put me in a room that was below the level I paid. When I protested, he claimed that he was placing me in a room "to rest while waiting." I had to wait for the room I booked to be ready.
- PRINCERICHARD (2/5): - The Hotel has the worst service record of any hotel i ever stayed in. The staff were rude and acted as if you were disturbing them with your request for a wifi code. Frankly, I dont know how they got a 3 Star rating. They were so slow its embarrassing. I wont stay there if its the last hotel available. There was no manager on Duty or they refused to call the manager? The only reason they have any clients is cos they are the low priced but guess you get what you pay for, Appalling!!

- olayinka (6/5): Room 102 very disappointing with no ventilation - Unfortunately I was given a room 102, this room had a shower with no window and also no ventilation, there were mould and black stuff on the bathroom, unfortunately because I checked in after 11pm, I was so tired and I just wanted to go to bed to sleep. The following day I spoke to the manager who gave me a room upgrade which was a nice gesture. But unfortunately there were issues with this room as well. Also at breakfast, I was told breakfast was for one when my booking said breakfast was for two. This similar thing happened when I visited in May, so it was very disappointing to have waiters harassing you, because I basically lost my appetite and left the breakfast room. I have raised some of the issues but it is my hope that other customers do not experience this and can validate if there has been improvement after this stay and review was left. I surely do like to stay in Ikeja during my visit and I hope I can leave a more positive review by my next visit
- olayinka (4/5): disappointed with their level of standard - It was a bit disappointing this stay, as found a cockroach in the room, also the fridge was not working and neither was the the telephone in the room. I did speak with the manager which according to her left them to doing some fumigation. Also it was not right that the staff where harassing me about breakfast been for 1 person when my booking stated for 2. my review is to let other guess evaluate whether an improvement has been made or during their visit still same problems are been experienced. The manager Mrs Funke has been helpful during my stay I will have to commend.
- Edith (8/5): Divided but Comfortable! - My stay was overall awesome., The staff; excellent at their duties. They were warm, friendly, respectful and helpful. The Supervisor & manager were very accommodating and though the Road situation was clearly beyond their control, they managed to make their guests comfortable while you are on the premises. Comfortable beds, good water pressure and shower, good selection of entertainment stations, and most importantly 24/7 electricity. Concerns & Observation; My one complain was the Road access to get to the hotel.... Terrible, terrible, terrible Road. It was Flooded, Uneven, & Muddy my whole duration of 5night stay. I had a small fridge that from the exterior Look you don’t want to touch, let alone put ur consumables inside. Will I stay their again? Possibly, because it is close to the international airport without the airport noise. I gave 4-Stars less one because of the Road situations. Recommendation: I recommend, they partner Up with a Carb company (Off Road Vehicles) to pick up guests from the airport and out of the hotel, so their guests don’t run into the issues I had with Uber drivers cancellation on me ones they got to the neighborhood. This will help their business traffic & retention until they get the road fixed. P.S., the management should consider a walk through of their rooms and update fridge and interior wall paint
- Maureen (8/5): Good place for comfort. - I enjoyed my stay for the six night that i lodge there. The staffs have this warm welcoming smiles. They were so lovely and always wanting to render a helping hand. I will lodge there again and i recommend it also.

One area of suggestions and this for Expedia and Msquare Hotel. Make the pricing options C L E A R when booking for the number of guests included with complementary breakfast. I booked my room for 2 adults and the next morning when my husband and I arrived to eat breakfast we were made aware that my reservation ONLY included 1 person for breakfast. I was a little taken back by this ordeal. But the manager met with me and my husband and settled the matter. She was very friendly and informative.

- Verified traveler (6/5): More Potential! - Complimentary Breakfast wasn’t issued. The lower rooms have no cell reception so basically no comms. The AC wasn’t as cool as should be. Service was excellent; hotel was clean but things like AC, Network meant that they could be doing better.
- olayinka (6/5): Okay hotel but still needs attention to details. - Hotel was okay but I was allocated different room. Some rooms where not properly checked. Some did not have a shower head., no safe, on arrival there was no fridge. Also I was allocated a bathroom with no window. Room 102. Also staff were argumentative when I told them my breakfast was for two people and they said only one for breakfast. I had to show them my booking confirming that. Also when I requested for ice. I was told I have to pay for ice. The bar man charged 550 for a small bottle of water and brought two small cups of ice. So when I told them I needed a bucket of ice he told me it was 650 naira to get ice. Very strange. Also some of the short have black stains inside which is a bit disgusting. Also some room had no mirrors at all in them. Room should be checked before allowing guest to check into rooms

- S (2/5): - The room we were given was significantly smaller and lower quality than pictured. I wouldn't even be sure the pictured room was in this hotel. This sort of intentional deception needs to be punished.
- IKE (6/5): - This is my 2nd stay at this property. The rooms, dining and lobby are clean and good. Staff at front desk and kitchen were helpful and friendly. I had the opportunity to meet the owner - cool guy. But I cannot trust the hotel's management (manager) to be truthful to their words or keep their promise to clients especially if you have a complaint. The manager made an extra effort to protect an (independent airport shuttle driver) employee by trying to convince us (and her boss) that our prior complaint about the employee was essentially invalid even when the facts presented showed otherwise. As a result, she would not honor a (compensation) offer she made to us (that we didn't asked for) due to the complaint we made. We found that dishonest, and that action resulted in us going to a different (beautiful) hotel in Ikeja for the rest of our stay. We may stay at this hotel again but only if we have no other choice.

- caliaimster (8/5): Good, clean hotel. Good service - Stayed here for three days this summer. Booked online and had no hassles with checking in. Friendly and efficient staff. There is a bar, basic continental breakfast, WiFi was good, and air conditioning was excellent. Comfortable beds and very clean bathrooms. I will stay again when traveling through Lagos. Close to the airport in a quiet neighborhood.

Finally they found it and took me to the room; neat and decent but the shower door was broken. No offer toneven take mebto another room, their reson was that no other room of the standard i booked. It was so bad that there wasn't even tissue paper in the toilet. Anyway, i just decided to stay because it was only for a night. I did not see professionalism or customer service in the staff at all.

- MamoudB (8/5): SMALL BUT NICE AND CLEAN - It's a very small hotel, it's clean and nice. The location also good, about 15mins to the airport, if there is no traffic. The staff are friendly. However, I wish there more options on the menu. The Wi-Fi fluctuates, sometimes slow.
- Mo (4/5): Average Hotel - Hotel is not located in a location where you have easy access to activities, restaurants, etc. Our room had small window where you can't see anything but the back of another building. Our sheets had to be changed on our arrival because they wasn't clean.
- BabaIke (10/5): This is a hidden Jewel - My experience on April 3rd was great from the staff, to the room service and delicious food, to the cleanliness, and more. I would highly recommend an alternative to the airport service currently offered by a private person on behalf of the hotel. That was a terrible service. However, I will stay at MSquare again and recommend it to friends.
