• RYO (9/5): Best accommodation in Castelsardo. I can recommend! - Super kind and high hospitality staff all the time! So close to main tourist area. Clear explanation. A single bed/frame was under the mattress. Better to be careful to move over it.

• AMIR (9/5): Court mais avec le souvenir du joli village et le fabuleux accueil de Martine. - Martine est une personne hautement sympathique, s'exprimant parfaitement bien en français. Son accueil chaleureux, son attention et sa totale disponibilité nous ont fait sentir toute la générosité et l'hospitalité méditerranéennes. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et nous avons même eu des figues fraîchement cueillies. L'emplacement est stratégique à seulement quelques mètres du centre névralgique du village.

• Lukasz (8/5): - Pokój w spokojnej okolicy, prywatna łazienka. Właścicielka bardzo miła, chociaż nie mówiła po angielsku. W pobliżu sporo knajpek, w jednej z nich jedliśmy najlepszą pizzę na Sardynii. W nocy trudniej było znaleźć miejsce parkingowe przy ulicy. Śniadanie typowo włoskie - dla nas za słodko, ale to już kwestia przyzwyczajeń żywieniowych.

Le prix à l'arrivée n'était pas le prix initialement prévu lors de la réservation Le petit déjeuner bon mais pas conforme aux photos présentées sur l'annonce "Parking gratuit" mais dans rue.. au petit bonheur la chance ... Je ne recommanderai pas cet établissement.

• claude (10/5): Vivement recommandé ! - La mama qui nous a reçu parle couramment le Français et est adorable. Le BB est très bien situé pour visiter la ville historique ou aller faire un tour à la plage (le tout à pied). La chambre dispose d'une clim d'un réfrigérateur et d'une tv. La douche a une bonne pression d'eau. Tout est très propre et bien décoré. Le petit déjeuner était très bien aussi.

Molto utile il frigo in camera Molte cose riportate nella descrizione non sono proprio vere.....Parcheggio non disponibile ( la sera prima mi avevano specificato che in zona era facile trovare posteggio salvo poi dirmi di arrangiarmi a cercare in giro per il paese perché tutto pieno). Per fortuna il parcheggio interrato Colombo e a soli 230 m La "cucina in comune" non esiste c e solo la sala colazione con qualcosa per farsi una merenda.. anche se i proprietari non sono così entusiasti se la usi.

The room was far from what it looked on the pictures. The facilities are old and the building is noisy. The breakfast was very poor. It was difficult to find a suitable parking place near the B&B.
• Iren (7/5): Perfect location - The location of the room is perfect. The center of the city and the beach is only 5 minutes. The landlady was very kind. The wifi was very poor, we couldn't use it. The bed rest is very old need to change it.

I did not expect much when making the booking.However the facilities (bed, towel, bathroom) and the breakfast were unfortunately worse than i expected. For €95 a night, things should have been arranged at least at a acceptable level. While it is difficult and costly to renovate the room, a few things the host can do to increase the value for guests: for examples, buying new bedsheets (the current ones were way too old and torn), washing towels with nice detergents, buying fresh-baked bread/croissants in early morning from nearby supermarkets for breakfast - it would only cost a few euros but guests would be happy (currently cheapest mass-produced long-reserved croissants were served)
• Baldwin (1/5): Bad - I respect each opinion to its own however personally I would not have chosen this B&B should it not have the rating it does. It is over-rated, or at least that was the case for the room I was given. I agree the room was "clean" and the people are "hospitable" until I paid and informed them that the room is not what is expected. With 80Euro+ I have travelled to various locations around the world with a very good service and hospitability. Some B&Bs also in prime location. Rarely have I ever cancelled any booking, and at times owners were cordial and found a compromise to their property perhaps not meeting my expectations.I am not a fussy person but I expect a service worth the price. The room was "clean" but the towels turned "grey" from white. The bedsheets were all stained. Inside the toilet the towel hanger was broken and the AC looked very old. The furniture looked like it was quiet used and not taken cared for. I did not ask for a refund, but I asked the owner that I would appreciate if we go half and half since I will leave the room vacant, so she does not have to "clean" it again. She refused and she complained that she has a 20% commission on this application. Which is fine, but it seems like she decided to do the cancellation from her end on this application too, whereas I had to pay the full price because she was only willing to give €10 out of €86 that I have paid. Shame! I rarely complain, but I really felt this was unjust and a ripe off. I only expect basic decency and understanding. I work in the industry and have a good knowhow on how things should be (and should be not)

• Linda (7/5): Big room in good location in Castelsardo - Big room. Great shower. We could sit in the breakfast area to work on computer. Owner lived upstairs so was accessible. Clothes line outside so hand laundry could dry quickly. Big closet with adequate hangers. Nice to have breakfast. Location good. Parking easy. No comfy chair in bedroom.

• Vanessa (10/5): Overall it was excellent! - Location was amazing! It was in the city centre, close to the beach, there was free parking in front of the building. Kitchen was fully equipped, there was a microwave, coffee machine (with free capsules!), water boiler for tea. We also had a private bathroom and a balcony. I didn’t like self check-in. I like to have a conversation with a local, this way I get a lot of helpful information.
