• Sarah (7/5): Great spot to stay for a couple nights! - The lobby is super cute and clean. The room was fairly clean albeit a little dusty. Very beachy and cute though. Staff was welcoming and helpful. My daughter really wanted to swim before we left even though it was a chilly day. The woman working turned the pool warmer on and opened the pool early so she could. My daughter got 45 minutes in the water and had a blast. It really started the day off right and made a sweet Mother’s Day memory. The bath tub was great size! We will definitely consider being back. It would be awesome if there was a hot tub. We are beginning a tradition to come every Mother’s Day and it is usually a chilly weekend. Would love to warm up in a hot tub! Some snacks or breakfast options would be super amazing as we come just for the weekend and could use some pick me ups first thing in the morning to go with coffee. The bathroom floor is super slick - out daughter wiped out hard and hit her head and bruises her knee. There is a warning about it slippery when wet but the floor wasn’t wet and she wiped out hard. The floors are pretty but not ideal for kids or anyone prone to falling. Otherwise it’s really great.

Only negative both times I came for tea water was cold. But not a major issue. We had microwaves in room. Great variety on tea! Thank you. Cold water at tea & coffee station (no big issue)

Pulizie giornaliere molto approssimative. Avevamo richiesto la culla per la nostra bimba (pagando un costo extra) e purtroppo è stata inutilizzabile poiché era molto sporca e non erano presenti né materasso né lenzuola.

Beach path just steps from our door! Some signs of wear here and there, but I'm sure the summer crowd takes a huge toll on the rooms and we didn't expect them to be quite as well maintained as they were, so that was a nice surprise. Free coffee in the lobby was very welcome. Right next door to Joseph's By the Sea and a short walk from the Brunswick. There was really nothing we didn't like. The room overall was very clean, but had some overlooked dusty spots, like window blinds and a fake plant on a high shelf. We would've liked a few more hooks in places like the back of the bathroom door for hanging clothes while showering, or damp towels/swimsuits.

• Antje (10/5): Tolles Hotel - Sehr schönes Hotel, nah am Strand, gutes Restaurant direkt neben an. Das Personal war super freundlich und nett, man hat sich im Hotel direkt aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Zimmer war groß, mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle und sehr sauber. Schöne Sonnenterrasse auf der man frühmorgens erstmal den Kaffee aus der Lobby genießen konnte. Leider war bei uns allerdings die Saison schon vorbei so das sehr viele Geschäfte bereits geschlossen hatten.

Also parking lot spaces are so narrow it can be hard to open your door after parking if the car next to you is big.

The hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were kind and gave great recommendations for sightseeing and restaurants. I would love to come back to that hotel, and that exact beach every year.

• Juliana (7/5): Decent but dated place - The room was small but decent, they have daily coffee in the lobby. It's right on the beach so that's convenient. All of the staff I encountered were very pleasant and accommodating. I drink decaf and a few days it was so weak it was like coffee-flavored water, oh well. Between the coffee, an ice machine and soda machine, that's it for the amenities. There are no room darkening shades or curtains and it was very bright from outside lights all night long. Our room had a connected room door that there was a gap under so you could literally see into the next room if you got down on the floor and also you could hear everything next door - I shoved a towel into the gap and pushed a suitcase against it. Lastly, I would be remiss if I did not mention the Amtrak train that blows through town twice in the middle of the night every night blasting it's horns. Not exactly great for trying to sleep.

And the room I was given had zero beach view... the main windows looked at the parking lot and the bathroom window looked at the HVAC for the restaurant next door.

If I had noticed before I’d never have taken a shower. Since the water smelled. However, it is decorated nicely and the bed was so soft and comfortable!

• Jessica (10/5): - We enjoyed lounging on the upper deck having a glass of wine after a day at the beach. The shower gets a 10 out of 10. The water pressure is fantastic. My husband is rather tall and hit his head on the ceiling fan and broke off one of the blades . We expected to be charged for the damages but the staff were more concerned about my husband's well being. We were not charged for the broken blade. An overall fantastic experience and will return next year. We had a wonderful stay with Edgewater. I wish coffee was available before 7am for early risers wishing to watch the sunrise on the beach.
• Dan (6/5): - My cousin Vinny. If you have ever seen the movie you’ll know what I’m talking about. It’s the scene when Vinny and Mona Lisa were sleeping in the hotel and all of a sudden a train comes by and shakes the pictures off the wall. Didn’t do that but the noise from the train had the same effect. Went there for a quiet vacation on the beach and if that’s what you want… go somewhere else.
• Alfred (6/5): - The property was clean and felt safe. The area truly closes down on Labor Day and we arrived a week after that. Very limited food offerings and things to do. The staff were friendly and helpful but best to visit during the summer.
• Amy (10/5): Great find!! - Great location, easy walk to the pier either by the sand or by the road. Our was right beside the deck on the 2nd floor. It didn't bother us with people right outside the door, but it might others. The train woke me up the first night, I was not expecting that at 230am, but I didn't notice the next night but my husband did. Great staff. No laundry facility just in case you were like me and needed one. I forgot to check before I booked. It wouldn't have changed the booking but I would have been more prepared. Great bed and lots of pillows. If I am ever back in the area I would stay again.

La propreté laisse à désirer (pas mal de poussière). La chambre est située face à la piscine de l'hôtel donc assez bruyant (la piscine ferme heureusement à 21h). Pas de cafetière à disposition dans la chambre.

• Jennie (9/5): This place had Fantastic beach access, and a comfortable room to stay and enjoy the beach scene and attractions just dow - On the beach with a pool, walking to foods, coffee, entertainment. Friendly and accommodating staff kept everything clean. They sailed. Bc wanted us to be happy. Perhaps Update air conditioners.

• Kristen (10/5): - This motel is in a great location within Old Orchard Beach. Just steps from the ocean and few minute walk to the heart of the town, but far and quiet enough to sleep well. The staff are so welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable as well.
