Michael (8/5): - Room was very clean but we were on the first floor in building 4 so had to walk up and down 24 stairs with a suitcase and I use a cane so it was very difficult. Unfortunately not realizing we had booked through a third party (Hotels.com) so we could not cancel without paying twice. We thought seeing that the room was on the first floor it would be perfect. The front desk woman was extremely kind and helpful and apologetic. Did not like that breakfast was across the grounds and we would have to use a tray to bring it back to our room. Hotel room was very nice and clean. Bathroom was small. Fireplace was not a fireplace but rather an electric small wood burning stove looking object. Room needed some maintenance.

Mary (6/5): - The suite we stayed in was on the lower level with no elevator. We had to go down 3 sets of steps totaling 32 steps. As an older couple it was difficult to bring our luggage and other items down the steps and then back up when leaving. The breakfast was minimal and you had to put on a tray and bring it back to your room. Ridiculous!!!

Jennifer (8/5): Nice property - There was a mistake on their end and when I got there, they informed me that they didn’t have the room and they were switching me to one without the whirlpool. This was the reason I booked at this hotel but, they said because I booked on hotels.com, they couldn’t upgrade me. We went to the room and they called and said they actually could upgrade our room. Back to the lobby we go. The room we got was nice but the hassle was disappointing. Even more so because nobody called me ahead of time to figure it out.
Susan (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay very must, property was well maintained. Only one thing we'd suggest is to put a safety bar for getting out of the tub/ shower. It was a bit dicey Thanks, we'll return next year.

It gets so hot and it doesn't seem like the air works and the small vent coming into the bedroom isn't nearly enough to get the air flowing. Otherwise, we love the place!

The jetted tub near the bed gives it a bit of an 80’s vibe and there are a lot of throw pillows, but it looks good. However, open the curtains and you see that the balcony is literally situated over the highway. It was super noisy and the bed wa uncomfortable. We didn’t sleep much. The bathtub also had terrible a “repair”.

We happened to make a last minute decision to come to Minocqua and after some research we decided to stay here it was afforable and had a great lay out of rooms. Upon checking in with Danielle she was friendly and very helpful and gave us great detail instructions. We got to our room and it was emaculant clean and beds were comfortable and honestly had everything we needed for a long weekend. The walls are a little thin but with overall experience it can be overlooked. They do offer a continental breakfast, but we were enjoying what the area had to offer and didnt get to try it. We will definitely plan to stay again !

The view from the balcony is peaceful, and we even saw eagles gliding right past us! Peaceful, well-kept space that made for a relaxing stay. We’ll be back!

kfP8993PM (2/5): They may sell your room to someone else - Had a reservation booked months in advance. When we showed up they could not find my reservation. I pulled up my confirmation on my phone. The lady at the desk reported that since I didn't show up the day before, they had rebooked my room and didn't have a room for us. I showed her my reservation was for todays date, not the day before. "I'm sorry is the best I can do" was what I was told. This was booked through the hotel website at full price. I have never had an experience like this traveling before. Be cautious if you plan to stay there.

Sue (6/5): - Our room was fine, although we could easily hear the people in the next room talking. Our issue is that our room was situated where we had two sets of stairs to navigate. We were at the far end and the breakfast was take to your room only. My husband has mobility issues so carrying a breakfast tray with all those stairs was less than ideal. Had we known we would not have booked that room.
Kim (10/5): Reasonably priced - Convenient. Room looked over the lake. Nice balcony. Eagle soared overhead. Premier Studio was spacious and clean. Bathroom is small. Tub a little dated. Rustic decor. Microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and eating utensils and plates a plus. Bed a little lumpy. Electric fireplace and jacuzzi tub available but did not use. Short walk over the bridge to get into town. Reasonably priced.

David (8/5): Overall nice place - Overall a nice stay, but a lower score due to issues beyond their control. On our second night the internet and television went out, and they said that it would be repaired later that evening but it wasn't even back by checkout the next day. The complimentary breakfast was also very basic with just prepackaged items except the waffles. But even with this, on the final morning there were not even any prepackaged boiled eggs, so basically very little for any decent protein. The answer for no eggs was that Sysco was out of them. The other issue is that we were on the lower level and just the walking of the people in the room above us sounded like a heard of elephants.

When I asked about it at checkout the answer was that it was for the amenities. Parking, pool, hot tub etc. Usually, amenities are included with the room rates. Other than that, very nice.

bradsY3790HW (10/5): Wonderful “Up North” Getaway! - We love The Pointe! Wisconsin in the winter is just beautiful. The staff is so accommodating. Sitting in the hot tub and watching it snow outside is priceless. This property really accommodates the snowmobile community from providing a special parking area and a ramp for easy on and off the lake. The area restaurants and supper clubs are wonderful! This is a great “Up North” getaway any season of the year.

H3803AAsallyh (10/5): Perfect Winter Wonderland Accommodations - This is the best place to stay in Minocqua. We have stayed three times now for a long winter weekend. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are wonderful after long days of playing in the snowy winter wonderland. The breakfast is well stocked with a variety of options. The front desk and staff are as helpful as can be. We can’t wait to go back. Ohhh and the view of the water from every room we have stayed in has been wonderful too!

Beth (10/5): - Everyone was so friendly. I loved the quiet, restful atmosphere.
Teresa (8/5): - Very loud if there is anyone next door or above you. The shower drain was clogged. Doors were very heavy and hard to open/ navigate through. Pool area hours could really be extended for adults only time @the end of the night at least on the weekends? The young lady working the front desk was exceptionally sweet and helpful! The beds were super comfortable.
Matt (2/5): - A water main broke at the property and my reservation was cancelled 10 minutes before I was supposed to check in. I had to find alternate lodging last minute.
Sandy (6/5): - I selected this hotel for what I thought would be a quiet, relaxing stay. It turned out our room was perched above the busy highway and too noisy to enjoy. The view was acceptable, but the noise was irritating. Request a room away from the highway if you’re looking for a peaceful stay!
dennis (6/5): - The hotel was not crowded. Booked non refundable room. Stayed in the past but this room was not clean and the carpet was torn up. Found out when we checked in that the swimming pool was open for alittle while longer on Sunday but they invited locals to use pool area and they were closing it down the rest of our stay. Didnt seem to care about the carpet. Third time staying there in less than 2 years. Will not book again.
