• Paulina (10/5): Jättebra hotell - Jättefint hotell. Vi bodde i ett familjerum som upplevdes väldigt stort. Rent och fint på hela hotellet. Supertrevlig personal som checkade in oss. Läget är centralt med nära till allt. Det enda dåliga var att personalen (inte samma som checkade in oss) skulle ha 15 euro för att boka en taxi åt oss till flygplatsen. Har aldrig varit med om att ett hotell tar en avgift för det.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Godt beliggende rummeligt hotel - Hotellets beliggenhed perfekt i gå afstand til det meste i centrum. Værelser meget store. God morgenmad buffet. Har aldrig oplevet et så dedikeret parkeringspersonale nede i P-kælderen. De er sååå søde. Sengene hårde og gode.

• beetcanner (10/5): Right Next To Central Square - Ornate lobby with many comfy couches and upholstered chairs. Good water pressure, plenty of hot water in large bathroom. MiniMart next door. Friendly staff at Reception Desk. Very decent offerings at breakfast, more than the usual and expected. You can't go wrong here.

The interior design is elegant and luxurious, the rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It truly felt like a 5-star experience — hard to believe it’s only rated 4 stars!

• Francesca (6/5): - Siamo stati in questo hotel 4 giorni a capodanno ed abbiamo riscontrato alcuni problemi: il primo gennaio non ci hanno pulito la camera ed abbiamo dovuto chiedere la sera degli asciugamani asciutti (non ci hanno spiegato il motivo della non pulizia), Inoltre su expedia c'era scritto che il servizio navetta dell'aeroporto era gratuito e compreso nel prezzo invece cosi non è stato (sono 22 euro a tratta). Sempre su expedia c'era scritto che avrei dovuto pagare al chek out all'uscita ma quando ho chiesto di pagare mi hanno detto di no che avrebbero provveduto loro in automatico. Tornata in Italia mi hanno mandato un messaggio con scritto che non avevo pagato!!! Assurdo. Poi avviamente ilpagamento l'hanno preso dalla carta che avevo regostrato ma mi hanno fatta passare per inadempiente quando gliel'ho chiesto di persona del pagamento! Ma il problema piu grande e che ha rischiato di rovinarci la vacanza è stato lo smarrimento del mio documento di identità dato all'arrivo per il chek in che non mi hanno restituito ed hanno smarrito. Ho dovuto fare denuncia ed andare all'ambasciata (cosa che non auguro a nessujo!) Per il resto l'hotel è pulito ed ha una buonissima posizione centrale.

Fridge in room …breakfast included and was ok ..coffee not to our liking . Room very large but dark ..we had a large bed with a blanket we removed and found a very clean feather blanket ..heat worked well ..excellent WiFi ..bathroom large ..even a bidet.. bathroom amenities..just shampoo ..body wash and bar soap …water pressure great ..water not to hot but ok Very clean …nice to have an elevator ..located near shopping

Had to wait mid day for a ride to the airport when guests were out for the day. It was staff members smoking. • GaryBrazel (6/5): Avoid this hotel if you don't smoke - If you are a smoker then the rating for this hotel would be a 4 or maybe even a 5. However as a non-smoker entering the hotel is horrible. To get into the hotel you must enter through the hotel's popular smokey bar/cafe. The cigarette smoke is thick there and the next room you must pass through to reach reception. It even infiltrates into the reception area and even up on the second floor it could often be detected. Otherwise the room and the breakfast are fine and the employees provide good service. The WiFi was also okay. Our TV had the BBC, CNN, National Geographic, etc. However some other people said they were not available in their rooms and that the only English language station they could get was Al Jazeera. Note- there is no safe in the room.

• eMBieAntwerp (8/5): Quite satisfied really - Didn't know what to expect for our first hotel ever in Albania but must say that we were very satisfied. Large and very clean room with a comfy bed, marble and large bathroom with walk-inn rain shower with good water pressure and several amenities were supplied. No safe box nor coffee/tea making facilities but, since is not expensive to drink coffee outside we had no problem with that. Friendly staff at reception, smooth check inn. Quiet during the night. Breakfast was good, warm and cold items, cereals, yoghurt, fruits...no complaints here. Not so good : if you want your room to be cleaned/made up, you have to put a sign on the door handle outside your door. Strange, (or was this tactical ?) but there was no such sign available in our room. A 4* hotel should clean the room automatically every day. Location is great, 5 minutes walk from main square/opera. It was a good introduction to Albania.
• finland49 (8/5): Could be better - Good location in the middle of Tirana. The hotel as such is nice but there are some drawbacks. The room was big and comfortable, the bathroom was also well equipped. I stayed for three nights and not once did the cleaner come by. A four star hotel should do better than that. There are safes in the rooms but the one in my room was not working. The breakfast is not very special, ok the bread is fresh and local yoghurt is offered. But the filter coffee served at the breakfast does not meet any standards. It is in fact a shame for the otherwise excellent coffee culture in Albania.

Fomos bem atendidos desde o check in até o check out, pessoal sempre a disposição para ajudar no que necessário. Quarto amplo, confortável, excelente banheiro, ar condicionado funciona bem e a limpeza do quarto é diária. Com certeza ficaria novamente em um retorno a Tirana.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great hotel awesome people - This hotel in very good location. Three young men work at front desk are extremely friendly and helpful. Room is good size, show is strong, safe box big. Wifi in room is weak and almost unusable most of the time. I had to run outside to buy sim card to use. cross street there is store selling 35G for $17. In lobby area wifi works fine. When check out, the two small bottle water in refrigerator are 3 euro. But no clear sign in room telling the water not free. I like this hotel very much. Will stay here in the future. If they can fix the wifi issue, this hotel would be perfect.

The underground garage was important for our car as parking in this area is at a premium. The hotel rates are more than reasonable. In summary, a very good choice for a stay in Tirana.

Would have preferred larger cups of coffee. Internet connection wasn’t very stable and for this reason I have marked it good not excellent. However, great value for money. an Wonderful, friendly efficient receptionists. Thank you.
• LowerTOxon (8/5): Good hotel very cemtral - The rooms are clean and well equiped , the hotel is very close to the centre. , the reception staff were very friendly , our price was reasonable for the quality , it wasn’t too noisy there's a nice area at the front to sit outside albeit no view . Some restaurant staff were friendlier than others and the breakfast buffet was average at best . The main reason to stay here would be price and central location
• I6947LYdavidw (10/5): Excellent Hotel - The hotel has a good location only 3 minutes from Skanderberg Square. Clean room and comfortable bed. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. In particular a young fair haired girl who worked in the breakfast room & on reception was superb. Good selection at breakfast but the cooked food could have been hotter. I would definately stay there again.

The Hotel has a restaurant great food made on a daily basis would recommend to try. This hotel is worth a 5* hotel as it has all the facilities a person requires when on holiday. One of the best hotels I have stayed in Tirana and would recommend to everyone to stay within this hotel. Located near the centre. Amazing staff Great Food Clean and safe environment

Front office staff very helpful, helped with our bags, etc. Restaurant/breakfast was also good, though coffee service was slow. They could have self help coffee service to avoid depending on busy staff. But overall, the hotel is very good and would recommend to anyone.

• michelle862 (4/5): Disengaged employees Sudh potential - The location of Hotel Austria is perfect. The property has so much potential. The staff - at all levels were so disengaged. From the reception, to the bar, breakfast, etc. The front desk person didn't once say hello or smile as I walked through the front desk area 10+ times in 3 days. Same experiences with lunch, dinner, etc. So much potential...….but based on my experience, I wouldn't stay there again, nor recommend it. Yet, with some focus on training ….this hotel has tons of potential.

The wifi worked well. The breakfast was nice and varied with interesting local specialties as well as standard egg and bacon dishes.

Sehr großes Zimmer und modernes Bad. Freundliches Personal. Tiefgaragenplatz kostenlos. Negativ - es gibt KEINEN Schrank oder Schubladen für die Kleidung, nur eine kleine Kleiderstange. Platz wäre genug da, aber man hält das anscheinend nicht für nötig. Frühstücksauswahl gut, aber Spiegeleier, Wurst, gebratener Speck IMMER kalt, egal zu welcher Uhrzeit.

• Fabiola (2/5): Apple Watch wurde im Hotelzimmer geklaut - Ich bin sehr enttäuscht vom Hotel Austria. Mir wurde im Hotelzimmer von der Putzcrew meine Apple Watch geklaut. Ich konnte die Uhr später auch im Hotel orten. Dies nutzte mir leider nichts mehr, weil wir bereits am Flughafen waren. Die Putzcrew sowie weitere Mitarbeitende haben abgestritten, sie geklaut zu haben. Ich werde dieses Hotel bestimmt nicht mehr besuchen, da ich beim nächsten Besuch wieder damit rechnen muss, dass ich beklaut werde.

Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und angesichts des Preises geradezu sensationell. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und Tirana ist gerade für ein Wochenende durchwegs eine Reise wert.

There were a comfortable bed , refrigerator and air conditioner in the room , and secure free parking just behind the hotel. Strongly recommended.
