- Jeremy (9/5): AA great stay at Golden L8ght Hotel - Queen Light Hotel is situated roughly in the middle of the Old Quarter, about 15 minutes walk from Hoan Liem Lake and easy reach of most other attractions and hospitality venues. Bien and his staff are very attentive and friendly. Bien took me a massage establishment where I probably had the best massage I've had in Vietnam for a long time(I have constant lower back pain,and this did a lot to alleviate it) My room was really good, big with a huge bed,and they had upgraded me without me putting in a request,and an excellent ensuite. ( Most hotels and guesthouses seem to now have rain showers ,which I really like) Nothing

The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained, and the location is right in the middle of the Old Quarter, making it easy to go everywhere and explore the city. A special thanks to the manager, Dihn Bien, who was very professional, kind, and always ready to help. - Canan (10/5): - The location is perfect. All staff has been very helpful and always try to solve my problems. The manager, Dinh Bien, is a very good guy who tried to make my comfort. He always supported me when I had a problem. He managed an excellent tour for Ha Long Bay for me.it was fantastic, and at the end of the tour, I forgot my bag in Halong Bay, and he helped me to get my bag. And he made it from 200 km distance.

- Daniel (8/5): Very nice if your not overlooking the lobby. - It was in a very good location, not too far from the old quarter centre. They gave me an upgrade but it was more like a downgrade as I was overlooking the lobby and could hear everything downstairs when people were talking.
- Maxime (1/5): - Hotel est très vieux, il y avait une odeur de moisissure qui sortait de la salle de bain et j'ai dû réparer la chasse d'eau qui ne fonctionnait pas. Je ne conseil pas, même pour une nuit. Et ce n'est pas une hisoire de prix, car pour ce pris j'ai séjourné dans d'autres hotels du pays qui m'ont plainement satisfait !

- Sajani (8/5): - Decor was tasteful and charming, and the place was more or less quiet. The staff gave me a free upgrade to a larger room, which was super kind of them. Everything was spotlessly clean, with free tea and coffee that delighted my backpacker soul. The room didn't have a window (or it had a stage one, painted black and with a wall two inches on the other side of the glass). I realize this is common in urban SE Asia, but I personally find it depressing if it's 7am and still feels like midnight in my room - especially if the room costs what this one did.

- You (10/5): J’aime Le Queen Light Hotel, Hanoï! 🩷 - J’ai adoré notre chambre 303 avec ses volets et un joli petit balcon où nous pouvions voir au petit matin (“ il est 5 heures du matin, Hanoï s’éveille”), les dames qui déambulaient en vélo entouré de bouquets de fleurs à vendre ou circulaient à pied avec la palanche lourde de fruits. Au temps, où nous y étions, pas besoin de la climatisation (26.11 au 01.12.2025). Pendant la nuit, l’air était frais, idéal pour le sommeil. Rue tranquille pendant la nuit. Le lit est super confortable. À tous les jours, 2 bières, 2 coca et 2 bouteilles d’eau sont offertes. Endroit très bien situé pour visiter le Vieux Hanoï et pour manger le phõ du matin. Un début de voyage extraordinaire où notre chambre a contribué à apprivoiser Hanoï. Et aussi, Monsieur Tiẽn qui nous a fait faire un tour en cyclo-pousse et nous indiquer les endroits à voir! Special thanks to our hotel support Mr Bien for taking care of us from the beginning of the booking until arranging taxi for departure!

- lindsay (7/5): comfortable budget friendly stay in old quarter - the staff was extremely friendly and made sure my stay was great. it’s in a great location in the old quarter and the rooms were spacious and bed was very comfortable. the bathrooms were small and definitely needed some TLC. the photos look a lot nicer than how the rooms actually look but you get what you pay for so if you’re looking for a budget friendly stay in the old quarter with nice staff this might be for you.

- Cassandre (10/5): - La chambre que nous avions réservé etait en travaux, nous avons été surclassé dans un chambre très confortable avec une salle de bain très propre Le professionnel qui ne c'est pas occupé de nous et qui nous demande de lui laisser un bon commentaire ? Je lui avais demandé de ne pas noter son nom sur la facture (car je vais m'en servir) et il l'a fait.
