The food was beautiful and delicious. All of the hotel staff were super friendly and helpful, particularly, Octavian, who was delightful! Our room was spacious and well equipped. The only thing missing was a kettle but we were given one as soon as we asked at reception. Breakfast was amazing, with a huge amount of choice and the food was so fresh and delicious! The private spa experience was amazing, and one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, an exceptional place to stay!

- Brigitte (10/5): Immer wieder gerne! Empfehlenswert - Wir haben uns Willkommen und sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Hotel hat eine hervorragende Lage mit direktem Zugang zum Wasser. Eine super schöne Gartenanlage zum Wohlfühlen und Relaxen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und der Tag fing gut an. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, sauber und hatte einen tollen Ausblick. Der Balkon ist unser Highlight am Abend gewesen. Wir haben die Möglichkeit der Fahrradleihe genutzt so konnten wir alles in der Nähe wunderbar erkunden. Die Wanderwege sind auch schnell und einfach erreichbar. Von dieser Unterkunft aus, sind alle Aktivitäten gut zu erreichen. Alles war rundherum perfekt! Wir hatten hier einen super schönen Start in unseren Italienurlaub!

You can’t fault the location, the staff are all friendly and keen to provide you with anything you may need to make your stay one to remember. If you want to walk to the town you can and it’s a stunning walk along the lake. If you want to get there quicker the hotel will gladly lend you a bike or two for free again to make the difference!!! Breakfast is great and is the bar service, especially by the pool. The only slight negative I can think of is that there is no tea or coffee in the rooms. But you do have a fridge and there is a little shop just up the road. You even have English tv which was a new addition for this year and makes it feel more like home. We will be going again next year.

- Thorsten (10/5): Glücksfund, werden wiederkommen! - Sehr schöne Lage, sehr gepflegt, freundlich, ausgezeichnetes Restaurant mit tollem Blick, was will man mehr? Per Zufall über die App gefunden und gebucht für eine Nacht am gleichen Tag bzw. Abend. Sehr freundlich beim Check-In und die Dame zeigt einem persönlich das Zimmer. Darüber hinaus wurde ich auch darauf hingewiesen, dass ich das Motorrad auch sehr gerne in die Parkgarage stellen könnte. Das Bad hat eine getrennte Toilette und die Badewanne/Duschkombination hat eine ausreichend hohe Wand, sodass man als großer Mensch (knapp 2 m) das Bad beim Duschen nicht unter Wasser setzt - prima. Frühstück bis um 11 Uhr und man danach auch gerne noch länger bleiben, muss allerdings das Zimmer freimachen. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist umfangreich und Eierspeisen werden individuell zubereitet und an den Tisch gebracht. Kaffeegetränke kann man selber aus einem WMF Automaten beziehen, was für mich in Ordnung war. War zwar nur eine Nacht und alleine hier, werde aber definitiv mit Begleitung wiederkommen.
- Sam (10/5): Couples retreat - Our first trip without kids in 7yrs and this hotel did not disappoint. Tranquillity was everywhere, whether it was on our balcony overlooking the lake, on the open veranda for breakfast or by table light for a high end dinner we were always relaxed and well looked after. Breakfast caters for everyone and the dinner menu is very specialist with many meals prepared at the table. I would only say the meals were good but not all dishes were worth the extra you pay compared to town. Finally it is a 20 to 30 minute walk to Malcesnie and a beautiful walk day and night that helps build your appetite for all the Italian food.
- David (10/5): Outstanding Hotel. - Very good experience. Wonderful view and very clean. Room well appointed. Air-con tricky to work. Complimentary breakfast excellent. Reception team very helpful. Housekeeping put a lovely message on our mirror, recognising our 30th anniversary, along with 2 glasses of Champagne delivered to our room. Very nice touch. Evening dinners limited menu and quite expensive. This was the only slight negative of the whole experience.
- Drew (10/5): One of my favorite hotels - My family of 5 (3 kids, 8, 12 and 14) loves Hotel Val Di Sogno. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable and overlook the gorgeous lake. The food is excellent, including the included breakfast buffet, lunch by the pool and dinner at the hotel restaurant. Pool area was great too. No complaints, this place is great. 25 minute beautiful walk by the lake to Malcesine.

Our room was very well appointed and had a balcony with stunning views of the lake. The staff were fantastic and would go out of their way to help you get the most out of your holiday. Special mention to Isabella on reception who greeted us every day with a smile. Hot and cold Breakfast options were available although a little more variety (especially hot food) would have been good.

The Reception staff were excellent, the food was superb and the Hotel is spotlessly clean. This hotel is right on the lake and a 10 min walk into Malcesine, there is a spa on the lower level which is well worth a visit. I would definitely recommend a stay and would happily return to Hotel Val di Sogno

Alle Zimmer haben Seeblick, eine schöne grüne und gut gepflegte Poolanlage lädt zum relaxen ein. Auf einer schönen Promenade ist das Zentrum von Malcesine in 20 min gut zu erreichen. Ausflüge nach Lemone ,auf den Monte Baldo oder nach Riva sind gut durchzuführen. Der Erholungseffekt setzt sehr schnell ein und man geniest die schöne ruhige saubere Natur.

It has bicycles you can use to cycle along the lake front. It has a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool and a brand new spa/gym, all overlooking the lake. I would definitely return.
