Food for breakfast and if you order lunch and/or dinner also amazing. They prepared a birthday cake for my daughter as a suprise❤️ We went for two excursions ( to Atlas Mountains ) with company recommended by Ahmed. Our driver Medi was nice and it was pleasure to spent time with him as well we felt very safely

- Julie (10/5): Parfait - Nous avons passé 5 nuits au Riad 144 et nous avons tout aimé de notre séjour ! Très bonne communication avant et pendant avec Ahmed qui nous a donné toutes les informations nécessaires, il a organisé notre arrivée tardive, notre départ et certaines de nos excursions. Tout le personnel est accueillant et bienveillant, les petits-déjeuners sont copieux et délicieux (tout est fait maison, yaourts, jus d'orange, crêpes,...) et les repas variés et succulents, savourés sur le roof top avec une belle vue à 360° sur la médina (effectivement un peu plus cher que dans un restaurant mais tellement appréciable de manger à domicile surtout avec des enfants en bas âge) Le riad est calme et propre, notre chambre était spacieuse pour 4 ! Un peu éloigné de la place mais à 10mn en taxi, mais appréciable après des journées dans le tumulte de la médina :) Nous recommandons +++, merci encore !

- Alexa (8/5): Brilliant food and great location. - The location was excellent, and there was a guy with a push trolley that helped us get our bags from the taxi and back again after. This really helped as the roads would be difficult to roll a suitcase down. The rooftop is great to lie down in the sun and for breakfast. The kitchen is by far the best thing about the property as the chef is amazing. This is the best food we had on our whole Morocco trip! The hammam was also really good. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help with anything. The beds were both extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. At this price I expected more comfort. The fact that they don't accept credit card is a pain, as we tried a couple of atm's and struggled to withdraw cash. They also overcharged us for the dinner, €10 per person extra, which could have been an honest mistake, but seemed like they hoped we just wouldn't notice. Odd as I would think they would know their own prices. Coffee machine in the room, but no pods.
- Evelien (10/5): Fantastisch familieverblijf in een prachtige riad met uitstekende service, heerlijk eten en een idea - Super verblijf gehad in Riad 144! We reisden met onze twee jonge kinderen en de grootouders, en iedereen heeft er enorm van genoten. De kamers zijn in het echt nog mooier dan op de foto: alles was piekfijn in orde en onze familiekamer was ruim genoeg voor ons vieren. De kinderen waren elke ochtend dol op het grote bad in de kamer – een echte meerwaarde. Het ontbijt was telkens uitgebreid en heerlijk. We hebben ook drie keer ’s avonds gegeten (waarvan één keer met kookles), en elke keer werden we verwend met smaakvolle, traditionele Marokkaanse gerechten. De riad ligt op wandelafstand van de souks, wat perfect haalbaar was met de kinderen. Het personeel was bijzonder vriendelijk, behulpzaam en heel attent voor de kinderen, wat ons verblijf nog aangenamer maakte. We komen graag nog eens terug, zeker in een warmere periode, om volop te genieten van het prachtige terras, het zwembad en de hammam.

Ahmed and his team could not do enough for you and the dinner we had on our first night at the Riad was absolutely delicious. We arrived a little later than expected and it was dark so the walk in was a little daunting but the hotel sent someone to meet us and helped with the luggage. This is a nice touch as I don’t think we would have found the Riad. However it’s actually in a great location to explore Marrakech.

Staff was very friendly and helpful also when there was a last minute change for dinner,. i would definitely stay here again. We would have liked our coffee a good bit more hot in the morning, but that's a preference, we stayed in February which can be cold, the fire and heater in the main area should have been lit a bit more often in the afternoon.

Servi à partir de 8 h 30 uniquement ce que je trouve un peu tard, pour les excursions par la suite. A la demande quand même nous avons pu l'avoir parfois un peu plus tôt pour certains départs en avance La gentillesse du personnel et d'Abdul principalement qui a vraiment été très à l'écoute de nos demandes. Un grand merci à lui Petit bémol, le manque de rangement dans la chambre. Nous avons séjourné 6 nuits, nous aurions aimé pouvoir défaire un peu nos valises. Cela ne nous a pas du tout dérangé.

From the moment we arrived, the level of care and attention from Ahmed and the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome — as though we were being invited into their home rather than simply staying at a hotel. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff were attentive, warm, and always on hand with fantastic recommendations for food and places to explore around Marrakesh. They made organising activities effortless, booking everything for us and ensuring every experience felt seamless and luxurious,even down to the taxis. This trip was especially meaningful as we were celebrating my husband’s 40th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it truly unforgettable. They arranged a beautiful surprise with a birthday cake, singing, flowers, and a stunningly decorated room. It was such a thoughtful and special moment that we’ll always remember. The experiences they arranged were incredible,the hot air balloon ride and the desert trip were absolute highlights, and exploring the famous Marrakesh Souks was amazing. Also, do not miss the hammam and massage at the riad,it was pure relaxation and the perfect way to unwind. Every detail of our stay felt luxurious yet personal. Ahmed and the entire team treat their guests like royalty while maintaining the warmth and charm that makes a riad stay so special. We truly cannot fault a single thing. Thank you endlessly for making our trip so memorable — we will absolutely be back. That we had to leave!

- Maxine (10/5): Great Riad, ideal location, friendly and helpful staff - The staff were lovely, very helpful and accommodating, we absolutely loved it, we wish we had stayed longer. We are both coffee drinkers it would have been an extra added bonus to have a coffee station in the room or available in the lounge for early morning / late evening, but certainly did not detract from our stay and if a staff member was available they always helped.

- Jennifer (10/5): Fabulous Riad in the medina - Beautiful Riad in the heart of the medina. Ahmed gave very clear instructions where to park and sent a colleague to help us find the Riad which was very helpful. The Riad is beautifully decorated inside with comfortable rooms and spacious seating on the terrace. All the team looked after us with great care - thank you. We had a fantastic meal cooked for us on the first night and the breakfasts were superb. I definitely recommend booking a session in the hammam.

The wonderful rooftop to catch the sunrise and sunset. The fabulous Hammam massage. The friendly welcoming staff. I arrived feeling stressed. I left feeling rejuvenated. I didnt like the fact I had to leave to go home. I would have stayed longer than 4 nights if I could.

- Dodd (10/5): Full of charm and a warm welcomes - We had an amazing stay at Riad 144. Everything was so easy, being collected from the airport and escorted to the Riad, from the welcome tea and the recommendations. The massage was the best I’ve ever had. The Riad was in a quieter part of the medina and was only a short walk to the Souks. The room was lovely and full of Moroccan charm. Breakfast was huge and the French toast is worth returning for. We had bad weather whilst we were there but I’m sure the rooftop terrace would be amazing in the warm weather. Staff were all great and welcoming. Thank you so much everyone at Riad 144 Quiet, but central enough to get to the souks and restaurants easily

Nous avons réservé la chambre berbère, qui est agréablement bien décorée et encore plus belle en réalité ! Le personnel est aux petits soins. Merci à Ahmed et Abdul pour l’accueil chaleureux et les recommandations, à Aïcha pour sa douceur et ses plats délicieux ! Sans oublier les masseuses, ainsi que les femmes de chambre. L’équipe est fantastique et à grandement participé à la réussite de notre séjour à Marrakech. Nous reviendons sans hésitation ! A bientôt, inchallah!

- Sian (10/5): Perfect stay in the most beautiful Riad - We booked Riad 144 – the Secret Suite for my mum and me to celebrate her 70th birthday, and it was truly unforgettable. On arrival, we were seated in one of the two beautiful courtyards and welcomed with mint tea and biscuits. Ahmed took the time to show us a map and point out the main tourist attractions, which was incredibly helpful and much appreciated. The Secret Suite was stunning. The double bed is accessed via a narrow staircase down and then up again, which was absolutely fine for me, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone with poor eyesight or unsteady footing. The second room had two single beds. The suite was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and a bottle of water each provided every day. Breakfast was perfect! We could choose between crêpes or an omelette, along with mint tea or coffee, fruit, yoghurt, bread with fresh preserves, and the most beautiful French toast. We also had dinner at the riad on our last night, which was delicious — freshly made soup, fish tagine, and almond couscous. To make the occasion extra special, they even made a cake with candles for my mum’s birthday. The location was ideal for us. Although it’s about a 20-minute walk to the main square, we always felt safe walking back, even late at night. It was quiet, authentic, and a welcome escape from the busier tourist areas. After long days exploring Marrakesh, it was wonderful to relax on the roof terrace in the sun. Each day we were brought a pot of fresh mint tea and nibbles, which was such a lovely touch.

- Joao Carlos Moreira (9/5): - É um Riad típico, no meio da Medina, bastante bem cuidado. As instalações sao boas, a decoração é bem cuidada, o lugar é limpo e arejado. O cara da manha tambem muito bom. Mas o melhor foi o cuidado da equipe. O gerente, Abedellah, cuidou da nossa estada, resolvendo tudo que precisávamos e ainda nos ajudando em toda a nossa estadia. Excepcional. Na verdade nao é um ruim, já esperávamos por isso ao optarmos por um Riad na Medina ao invés de ficar num hotel mais internacional fora dela. Mas o ponto é que nao é simples chegar. Se nao tivéssemos contratado o transporte do aeroporto ao Riad, como nós foi sugerido por eles mesmos quando fiz a reserva, teríamos tido muita dificuldade de achar o Riad em meio a tantas ruelas tortuosas. Depois que se acostuma não tem problema.

- Joachim (10/5): A great experience with the best service you can think of ! - Ahmed is such a wonderful host! When you arrive in Riad144, you are greeted like a good friend and this continued throughout the stay! The Riad is great, there's an elevator if you have a room higher up or want to have breakfast on the rooftop. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable (though our twin bed were slightly narrow). They serve a great breakfast with a homemade french toast, eggs on demand, fresh orange juice and much more - this combined with the friendly service is a great start to the day. Note that the Riad (like most in the old part of Marrakech) needs some walking from the car to the Riad, so Ahmed offered that the taxi driver calls him and then he sends a guy with a cart - great service! They also offered their Spa services which were reasonably priced and very nice. You can have Dinner in the Riad (we did not) and there is an upscale restaurant just around the corner and several other options within less than 10 min walking. Nothing to complain about

Wir wurden wärmstens empfangen und umsorgt. Das Riad ist traumhaft schön! Man hat das Gefühl von 1000 und einer Nacht. Wunderschön eingerichtet und perfekt gelegen am Rand der Medina und doch zentral! Alles super sauber! Die Dachterrasse ist ein Traum ! Bei schönem Wetter kann man den Tag dort perfekt verbringen. Auch das Frühstück wird dort serviert wenn man das möchte! Frühstück und Service einfach nur perfekt! Ich würde 10 Sterne vergeben wenn ich könnte und empfehle es wärmstens unbedingt zu buchen! Aicha nous a gentiment emmené chez Arga Therapy( super mais un peu cher). La qualité des aliments est très très bien et la cuisine savoureuse( je suis fin gourmet) etant moi-meme mediteraneene. Bravo pour la générosité . Tout était très bien Juste un peu frais à cette saison. Si le bain du patio était chauffé ça serait super ( ça c'est un plus).

Prachtig dakterras Tip boek taxi via hen want taxi's kunnen niet voor de deur komen Je wordt dan opgehaald en begeleid door de ietwat duistere straatjes van de Medina. Inclusief handkar voor de koffers. Wij kwamen in het donker en de chaos aan en hadden dit nooit gevonden anders. Excursies ook via hen te boeken.. Je betaalt wat commissie, maar dan is het wel meteen geregeld Wij deden kookworkshop (door en bij Riad zelf), quat/kameel tour en de ballonvaart. Echt heel bijzonder allemaal Douche voor ons verwende Nederlanders wat minder en her en der een wat gammele stekker of wc-douche knop.

Excellent - Nous avons passé un séjour un couple dans la suite , c’était une première pour nous de choisir un Riad au lieu d’un grand hôtel comme dans nos séjours habituel et on regrette absolument pas ! C’était vraiment génial, c’était cosy, bien décoré, on était très bien accueilli et chouchouté tout le long de notre séjour . On se sentait comme à la maison! Vraiment un immense merci à Ahmed et Abdul. Petit conseil, prenez la navette qu’on vous propose car les taxi de l’aéroport se perdent, on a regretté grandement . Un grand merci encore ! Rien

Hamam und Massage Möglichkeiten vorhanden Wir hatten das Carbon Zimmer, das schön und sehr geräumig ist, nur ein wenig düster Bzgl. des Personals ist v.a. Ahmed zu erwähnen. Er ist super freundlich, zuvorkommend und sehr hilfsbereit! Es gibt nicht sehr viel zu meckern. Bzgl. der Lage - Diese ist zwar zentral, allerdings liegt das Haus etwas versteckt, nicht ganz einfach zu finden und der letzte Weg, wo keine Autos mehr fahren können, ist abends ein wenig unheimlich, v.a. wenn man alleine ist. Würde jedenfalls einen Transfer vom Flughafen buchen. Das Frühstück ist gut, aber ein wenig eintönig, könnte ein wenig abwechslungsreicher sein.
