Show them a confirmation email front desk guy told me nothing I can do for you sorry no rooms me and my daughter after I paid in advance . Most Rude hotel employee I’ve ever encountered. Never again will I book with you guys or at a Hilton ! I will make sure to share my experience with our whole soccer club !

- MaryAnn (4/5): We will not be staying at this hotel ever again. - Not much. Extremely disappointed Upon arrival they charged my $40.00 for "incidentals" but could not tell me what incidentals were. No welcome for me a Hilton Honors member. The room was clean and there were towels, however, no amenities such as paper cups to use in the bathroom. Ice machine not working. No coffee machine which is fine but at least cups could be provided for the bathroom. I had to go to the store and purchase some. The walls are paper thin. Night one it sounded like they were remodeling the room above at midnight (moving furniture and banging). Night two a very unhappy baby next door up at 10 pm Midnight and 2 am and 6 am. No hot breakfast. Juice machine not working and a yogurt machine with only one choice. Had to go out for breakfast. I usually stay at Hampton Inns and they are clean and have all the amenities. For the price it was not worth the money.

We were NOT happy with the "new" BW when they moved across the road (cruddy room, under re-construction, was a mess). We chanced coming back to this building and were happy to see it still looking good! The morning staffers at the desk were not so friendly, almost annoyed. I mentioned to one that the milk was empty in the decanter after getting some cereal. She acknowledged me but did nothing until another guest brought it to her attention and needed the milk then and there! Then, when a second staffer started to refill canter, a third staffer called over to tell her not to use too much! Really??? It was 7am, b-fast runs til 10 and you're worried about wasting a half gallon of milk? We checked out shortly thereafter and there was still a cold feel at the desk.

- Hallie (4/5): Won’t go back :-( - It’s a clean, modern-looking space, but I think the renovations they did were very superficial. We were assigned a room without a working thermostat (all the power along that entire wall seemed to be out), told they didn’t have any other rooms available and that there was no maintenance person available at 9 PM, then eventually moved to another room without a working TV when “cancellation” occurred.

- Samantha (8/5): Room great... Pool not so great - Hotel was overall very clean. Rooms has the just been cleaned smell walking into them. Not enough staffing and hated the check out process of just dropping your key card in a basket and not actually getting to speak with someone and get a receipt. Lamp and outlet in room did not work and notified front desk but explained that would not impact our stay. Pool was awful!! Freezing cold, smelled weird, and there was garbage in the bottom. Overall nice hotel but don't stay for the pool or you'll be disappointed.

- Brian (2/5): Just saying.... - The front desk lady was babysitting her daughter both evenings she worked. The towels were out both days when we went to swim at the pool. The thermostat in one of our rooms did not work, the lady at the front desk stated she couldn't do anything because maintenance was unavailable. We fixed the thermostat ourselves, the room was very warm Breakfast in the morning is not that great, things were out both mornings we went. I expected more from the "Hilton" but i will not book a room with Spark Hilton again.

- Kim (8/5): - This is a comfortable, no-frills hotel for pet owners. There are grassy areas in back to walk dogs where bags are provided. A coffee station in the lobby offers coffee and hot water all day but no coffee facilities in the room. Breakfast is offered but it is cold breakfast only.

- WorldWideTravel88 (8/5): - It was my first time trying a hotel from the Spark brand by Hilton. I was impressed by the room itself which is one of the better ones in Erie compared to other local hotels I have stayed at before. The hotel is a fairly new construction, the room was spacious and had some useful tech features to recharge electronics by the bed side. The breakfast concept at Spark is cold buffet - there are no hot dishes. Personally that did not disturb me because hotels in this price range normally have quite poor offerings anyway (and not healthy at all). My one complaint however would be that they should at least offer real yogurt rather than provide it from a large dispenser machine. That is pushing cost savings a bit too much. Also while this hotel is ok for solo travel (or even a couple), we had a young baby with us so it did not really work at this hotel because it's too basic. They did not have a baby crib available unlike the vast majority of similar hotels in the Hilton chain or their competitors. Also we needed a coffee kettle to boil water to disinfect milk bottles - the hotel did not have any. We had to drive to Wal Mart to buy one. None of this was a deal killer and some people would not have to worry about these things but overall the entire experience felt a bit too bare bones for me to give 5/5.

- MagnoliaBev (2/5): don't stay here - terrible management/ownership - This hotel is incredibly poorly run! The front desk clerk, Wendy, was the only employee who seemed to be working and doing her (and a couple of other jobs) for the 3 days we stayed here. There was no shower gel in the shower when we arrived and when we requested that it be refilled, were assured it would be - then we were given 2 small bars of soap and told they were out of shower gel. Poor Wendy ended up trying to manage the breakfast bar all three days because the other workers didn't show up at all but came late one day. There was a huge pile of linens laying on the hallway floor outside our door for 24 hours. Walls are thin and we could hear guests walking overhead and talking in the halls. Nothing good to say about the place - except for all of Wendy's efforts!

We were traveling late and I had to go to the front desk to ask for soap, and he could barely come up with a couple little bars.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Huge disappointment - Absolutely the loudest hotel with the rudest guests ever. And the elevator dinged all night. Pretty sure the hotel was built with plywood because I heard everything upstairs and the hallway was full of loud people and ridiculousness. Kids running through the halls, stomping at all hours of the night from upstairs too. Ridiculous that I heard all that. The room was ok, but I'll never stay there again, not at that price!!! They should be ashamed of not having any rules for their guests too.

- TeamPidge (8/5): Solid, although basic and expensive for what's offered - Pros: Comfortable (albeit small) room, area has many eateries and stores. Cons: Typically absurd "Erie in summer" prices. My stay here was short (about ten hours) but pleasant- check in was quick and I was settled into my room with its comfortable king bed within minutes. It was basic but got the job done before I had to hit the road for a long drive home in the morning. Had I needed to stop for groceries or food, the options in the immediate area seemed endless. As is common with Erie area hotels in the summer, this basic lodging option was nonetheless very expensive- more than $200 for the night (had I not used points). At least it's one of the better options I've found in recent years.

She went out of her way to be helpful when we asked about restaurants in the area. The room was clean and comfortable . We definitely would recommend.

- Brenda (10/5): - The property is exceptionally clean and nice. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was well stocked and as advertised. The only thing that was a problem was you can definitely hear everything from all of the other rooms and hallways. When I travel and have this happen I usually put the room fan on to dull the sounds but our air system did not have an option to have continuous fan on! But the price was great so it was a trade off. Will definitely use it again.

The shampoo in our room ran out and I was told that they didn't have anymore. Our bathroom had a broken towel rack on the wall which made iy difficult to hang our towels to dry. The pool was listed as and indoor heated pool but it was cool water.

Amazing beds, nice showers, nice pool very amazing location! 2 flat screen tvs in room (weird they were connected) you turn on one of the tv’s they both turn on and both play the same thing, it was kinda annoying. Overall it was a 4.9/5 stay. One flaw, Paper thin floors and walls. Kids running up and down the hall all night people above were doing Irish jigs till 2am (ironically it was Saint Patrick’s weekend) Other then hearing all the noise from surrounding rooms the stay was nice.
