• Lucy (7/5): Great location, shame about the freezing cold jacuzzi - Great location, beautiful views There was ongoing construction every day of our stay. If I had been made aware of this in advance, I would have chosen alternative dates. The jacuzzi was only hot the first two days of our stay, and then was freezing cold and unusable. No drinking water was provided, only bottled water which was charged at S5 a bottle

Servizi scadenti, idromassaggio e piscina termica non funzionanti, abbiamo più volte comunicato questo allo staff e si è soltanto scusato per l'inconveniente, non hanno fatto nulla per rimediare e il prezzo finale è molto alto per i servizi offerti.
• Miguel Angel (7/5): Una estancia agradable - Las vistas que tiene, la piscina climatizada y las habitaciones. Que las habitaciones no tienen espejo de cuerpo completo, el horario de pedir comida a la carta es muy limitado con el fin de vender su cena buffet cuando no siempre se tiene tanta hambre para cenar. Le falta tener más actividades tipo yoga, contar con una sala de gimnasio y/o spa.

Grounds disappointing - not much in terms of gardens, bird feeders left empty - better not to have at all i not going to keep filled up - birds wasting time and energy checking. Building work producing a lot of dust and noise. Didnt feel comfortable walking to pool in front of builders

• Percy (7/5): Lugar perfecto para descansar luego de la caminata hacia Gocta. - El hotel tiene una excelente ubicación, otorgan un buen desayuno que está incluido en el precio, además el personal muy amable y respetuoso. Una de las habitaciones que me asignaron no tiene la vista que esperaba, en frente había una construcción que no dejaba apreciar el paisaje. Otro tema que no me gustó es que habían demasiadas personas en la pisicina temperada de hidromasaje, quizá sería bueno fijar horarios o alguna otra solución para que todos los huéspedes puedan disfrutar de este servicio.
• Omar (7/5): Buena vista y habitación, el personal falta mejorar - La vista, la piscina temperada, la habitación El personal tocó la puerta fuertemente 9:30am cuando todavía estábamos descansando para hacer una revisión del teléfono, nos despertó e incomodó y cuando nos acercamos a la puerta ya estaban por abrir, le dije que después de nuestro check-out ese mismo día por favor y me dijo que tenía que ser en ese momento e ingresó, nos dejó bastante incómodos, nos quitó el sueño y no nos permitió continuar descansando luego de un largo viaje que habíamos tenido en carro, pero para la hora del check-out fueron bien puntuales a pesar de la incomodidad, nos llamaron pasado unos minutos para ya poder retirarnos
• Michael (10/5): First time in this region of the north of Peru and loved it beyond expectations. - Location, view, gardens, birds, it’s at the trailhead of a very cool walk under the canopy up the valley right up to the pool under the falls, the cuisine, the super friendly staff, the relative proximity to many fascinating sites. Nothing comes to mind.

• Mabel (9/5): Very pleasant and relaxing. We stayed here but also had all our meals and they helped us plan our activities and tours. - It is a beautiful property with an amazing view. It is very well kept. Aesthetically pleasant and the decor matches the beautiful setting. I realized later they also sell local art which was very interesting to see. They seem to be an anchor in the community and very well liked. The glass door had an opening between the panels and I was concerned with mosquitoes getting in but luckily it was not too hot a season so it was not an issue.

• Joerg (2/5): I got food poisened from the breakfast, cost me a lot of health problem now. high price bad food - room and view very satisfied, At the morning breakfast I eat vegetables and papaya fruits, shortly after that I got strong diarreha and stomach cramps, after 2 days after I am still struggling to recover. Something bacteriel was contaminated in the breakfast food I ate. It is very bad experience in a hotel at this high price class. Needless to say I regret to have stayed at your place. The room and the view was very good, but it totally ruined my stay at your place. Needless to say that it is my worst experience after all.

• Lisa (10/5): Spectacular - This hotel is incredible. The staff are wonderful, so friendly and attentive. The location is spectacular. We loved the pool and the bar, the food was excellent. The walking tours to Gocta falls and the hummingbird sanctuary which the hotel organised were great, they even provide a packed lunch. The town of Cocachimba is small but we really liked it! Overall an amazing stay! Watch out for the flies, recommend insect repellent!

• Erik (6/5): In the past was the best and was worth paying the extra price. Not anymore. - The nature and view of the surroundings has always attracted me to come to this hotel. The new buildings that are being built. They are destroying the view of never ending nature. Gocta Andes Lodge will become just one more hotel to choose from in the area. To me, it was the place to go to if you wanted to see the Gocta waterfalls. It was worth paying the extra price! Not any more!
• Ronne (6/5): Beautiful but never again not for young kids - The property look beautiful especially with the alpacas but definitely not for families If you have young kids done come because I have a 2 year old child crying and I was told to calm him down. Nobody was complaining just the night staff member. I asked for a supervisor and nobody reached out super crazy. They have a very little wait staff and food took forever to be made. It seems they were prioritizing everybody else beside us. Service was bad cleanliness is ok. Pool was not working and broke down super cold. I kept asking about taxi service got he airport and kept deflecting arranged my own travels to be safe. If you not out of the mountain by 7:30 your stuck until 12:30 for the roads to open again. Very inconvenient. Overall it’s just for bloggers and not for vacay families like mine.
• Lucas (9/5): I Overall Loved my stay at Gocta Andes Lodge, and Our taxi driver Ever Vilchez helped make our trip a memorable experien - I liked the room, the view, the staff, especially the amazing taxi driver Ever Vilchez! I give Ever 10/10 for being a wonderful taxi driver and helper. The animals were taken off the property, the breakfast was very small portions, it was difficult to do laundry.

• Jhovana (10/5): Exceptional - the hotel is in a premium location in the cocachimba’s town. They have the option to hire an airport shuttle and everyone is extremily Nice
• Maria (8/5): Encounter with the chicks in the rock. Magnificen! - The view of the waterfalls from the hotel is out of this world. The food is very good and the waiters provide a wonderful service. The only problems were that the rooms were a little cold because the doors leave space at the bottom and on the sides that let the cold air in. Also the information about tours is not very good. The tour to see the Cobb in the rocks was amazing. Felipe us a great guide. Miss the view of the Gocta waterfall already.

• MPG (8/5): Pool with an incredible view - Everything was amazing. The food was really good and the views the best. They have transport to take you to the airport and offer tours. The only thing that was disappointing was the bedroom, we expected a bigger bed, safebox and more in-room facilities for the hotel price. Still, I recommend it.

We loved hiking to the falls from here, as well. The food could be better, but was still fine, especially when you can eat it from your personal balcony with such a gorgeous view.
