May Thu Thu (6/5): - I like the selection of breakfast most days. It is in a quiet place if you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The onsen and sauna are quite decent. The water temperature for the shower was so inconsistent. The temperature kept changing, so it was hard to enjoy the shower because we felt cold in the middle of it. The staff was quite chaotic. Sometimes, you have to look for them. The location is great if you want to stay away from the city, but you need to have a car or rely mostly on taxi. The breakfast was good, but they were so slow to refill the food. It is Japanese style, but I would say 'a budget Japanese style hotel'. The facilities were bad. The TV was so old, and the sofa was very uncomfortable. There was no sink in the toilet. The sink outside in the living room was so old. I do not think it will go back there.

Wichaya (7/5): Good value but not a delightful stay - Good value, huge room with Breakfast and Onsen for a very good price. The location is great, not far from famous tourist spots with a large parking lot. The room did not look like what I saw in Booking.com, old room, with repaired dent here and there... Onsen Bathroom is quite old, dim, and water pressure is very low (change the lightbulb perhaps?)

Hans Mölder (10/5): Taimaad avastamas - Väga stiilne ja puhas. Auto parkimine turvaline. Hommikusöök kuninglik, erinevatel päevadel veidi erinevad variandid. Põhja-eurooplastena meeldis meile väga, et sai saunas käia - see on olemas! Aga kõige erilisem boonus oli, et ometi kord olid voodis pehmed ja paraja paksusega padjad. Igal pool on need ebamugavalt kõvad ja paksud. Kardan, et nii mugavat voodit me oma Tais oleku ajal mujalt ei leiagi. Lennuvälja stardi- ja maandumisrada läheb enam-vähem üle hotelli - lennukite stardi ja maandumisega kaasnev müra on päris arvestatav. Õnneks on see ainult teataval ajal ööpäevast. Muus mõttes on see koht vaikne oaas.

Elainengl (5/5): In summary, the hotel remains a value-for-money option for those who just need a place to stay. - They have Onden, sauna and swimming pool, however we didn't try the facilities, kids used the pool but water was a little too cold due to the weather. The air-conditioning in our first room was leaking, so we were moved to another room on a different floor. Unfortunately, the shower in the new room had no hot water and could only be fixed the next day. The kettle provided was rusty, and we had to request a replacement. The buffet spread was average, though it was reasonably priced for the hotel. Overall, the hotel feels a little run-down and could benefit from better maintenance.

They had to move me to a different room for that, with the same results. Far from the center, roads to the hotel are bad, the kitchen has nothing to cook with.

Her (10/5): Comfortable and quiet - There was an onsen. The hose next to toilet had red and back stains on it. I did not feel comfortable using it since it looks like mold & wasn’t cleaned. We wish the food had more options. My boyfriend would only eat the porridge. The address would location the property somewhere else.

Ying (8/5): Spacious hotel compound, pleasant stay - One of the staff was extremely helpful and approachable - kudos to her! The onsen was a treat. Our room was spacious and the housekeeping was on-point. The hotel compound was spacious which made it suitable for playing with kids. We stayed for a 5 nights. After a while, we felt that the ventilation in the room could be improved, as the smell of the toilet seemed to linger.

When I checked out they charge you 500 THB for a lost key card (that’s half the cost of staying for one night!!!). I thought 500 THB the deposit was for damage or lost towel or minibar. I don’t think I’ve been charged that much for a lost key card. It’s usually free and if it’s only 50-100 THB then it makes sense.

Sometimes the onsen seemed to be a playground for kids. Not very relaxing. There was and awful smell of sewage coming from the kitchen sink. No shade for parking lot.

There is a big outdoors restaurant not too far up the road. Ask staff to warm up sauna 1 hour beforehand Wifi spotty depending on room, but they have several passwords for pool, cafe and room.

Roger (8/5): Convenient and pleasant hotel. - Nicely appointed hotel, close to the Doi Suthep foothills, fairly quiet (although on the take off flight path). Rooms are a good size and reasonable for the price. Good facilities with a swimming pool, Onsen and sauna. Friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps more choice for breakfast? (Eg muesli, croissants). But the Thai/Japanese options kept me going until lunchtime ok!

Galactic (10/5): Onsen is key. - Quiet location just off the main drag to town. Peaceful setting away from all the traffic noise. Relaxed several times in the onsen which was never crowded. 1 or 2 people were the most in the onsen each evening or morning. Often no one else. Would stay there again. Breakfast was a bit redundant but you can order off the menu and pay for that so there are other options. By no means a complaint, just something to consider.

Johna (8/5): Fantastic time - This was such a nice place to stay out of the busy Chiang Mai centre, it’s so peaceful and serene. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here and the Japanese theme. The morning breakfast was delicious and I loved the variety of meals provided, and I really enjoyed the congee, my absolute favourite. The staff were also so kind and sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The room we had, had a little kitchen but there was nothing in the drawers, we had to ask for utensils, at the reception. It would be nice to have basic utensils/pans/cooking equipment already inside and can always ask for more if needed.
