• Kateryna (10/5): - The hotel is amazing. Nice new rooms and bathrooms, very cute cozy seating area. And super clean well equipped kitchen. The walls are too thin so you could here very well your neighbours. In the morning when they used the sink in their room it was a whistling sound in the water pipes that woke me up at 6am.

• Daniel (8/5): Buena opción de alojamiento en Akurery - El mobiliario es moderno, las camas son cómodas. Las instalaciones de uso común (cocina, comedor), aunque casi no las usamos, eran excelentes, de gran calidad y muy limpias. Si bien no está ubicado en el Centro, está al lado de un supermercado, un restaurante de comida rápida y una gasolinera. El parking era práctico, fácil de usar. La habitación y el baño resultan un poco pequeños.
• SARAH (8/5): - La modernité du logement. Les salles de bain. Suite à une erreur de numéro de chambre dans le mail reçu, je me suis trouvée coincée sans pouvoir entrer dans ma chambre. Les portes s'ouvrent avec des codes électriques, les fermetures sont donc bruyantes, c'est un peu dérangeant le matin.

• Anne-Lise (6/5): - L’autonomie pour le checkin et le fait qu’il soit proche du centre et des commerces L’isolation des chambres ; il y avait beaucoup de monde le samedi soir et notre chambre était sous l’espace cuisine/salle à manger donc nous entendions toutes les chaises bouger. La salle de bain du couloir était très petite mais nous avons compris le second jour qu’il valait mieux utiliser les autres.
• Andreea (8/5): - Lage mitten in Akureyri, neben einem Supermarkt - ich hätte es gerne etwas ruhiger gehabt, ist aber auf jedem Fall praktisch. Zimmer war gut, angemessene Größe, sehr sauber, Bett war bequem und das es am Ende des Flurs lag, war es auch recht ruhig. Es war viele sehr gut ausgestattete und saubere Badezimmer mit Dusche und WC auf den Flur. Eine große Küche, gut ausgestattet, mit großem Aufenthaltsraum war auch vorhanden. Eine wirklich sehr angenehme Unterkunft, nicht ganz günstig, aber dafür ist auch einiges geboten. Umgebung nicht so attraktiv und für den Preis hatte ich in anderen Hostels ein eigenes Bad dabei, aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau!

I've stayed here many times through the years, often solo, so it's often been in the same basic little room with 1 bunk bed. But now it's been renovated (and probably also the other rooms), and it's super nice, so cute, good bed, it was awesome.

• Marcela (8/5): - Skvělá lokalita, dále od rušného centra, ale blízko hlavní silnice. Prostorná kuchyň se spoustou míst na sezení. Dveře se otevíraly kódem a při zapadnutí byl zámek strašně hlasitý, šlo slyšet okolní dveře.

Would stay again The fire alarm went off in the morning, being from Aus and the alarm only going off outside the room we thought it was just workers but all was good
• Alesia (10/5): Bardzo rozsądny wybór! - Bardzo fajny hostel! Przytulny, mega ciepły, dobrze wyposażona kuchnia, ogromna jadalnia, jest wspólny salon, było czysto, dobrze działało WiFi. Duży i wygodny parking. Jesteśmy b. zadowolone i z przyjemnością wrócimy. Nie mamy uwag.

• Tzu Ping (9/5): 總的來說，是一間讓人相當驚喜的住宿選擇。 - 我們用極具競爭力的價格訂到了一晚3人房住宿，設備相當齊全，房間也整理得相當舒適，房間大小適中。附近就有一間步行3分鐘就可以到達的大型超市，非常方便，離市區也不遠，開車5分鐘內可以抵達。 入住時是採用自助入住方式，指示寫得相當清楚。 青年旅舍住客素質不一，廚房公共空間整潔度較難維持，但還是可以感受到住宿方有盡力維持。

Nos dio la sensación de que no se estaba alojando nadie más, así que teníamos baño privado. Aun así, hay muchos baños disponibles en general. Parking gratuito, algo muy positivo, ya que en el centro (no es este caso) suele ser de pago.

• Birna (10/5): - Það kom sér mjög vel fyrir mig að geta komið fyrr að deginum en auglýst er opið, það skipti mig miklu máli. Þetta er snyrtilegt hús og vel um gengið. Rúmið var mjög þægilegt og notalegt herbergi.Takk fyrir mig.

• Meike (8/5): - Das Hostel ist sehr gut gelegen direkt neben Dominos und einem Bonus Supermarkt. Zum "Zentrum" läuft man ca. 20 Minuten. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und das Zimmer hatte eine gute Größe für 2 Personen mit Koffern. Toiletten und Duschen waren für die aktuelle Auslastung ausreichend. Die Küche hätte etwas ordentlicher sein können, aber das kann natürlich auch an den Mitbenutzern gelegen haben.

• Johanna (8/5): Logement agréable et pratique - La chambre est facilement accessible, y compris avec enfant (lit parapluie à disposition). Grande chambre avec lavabo. Douches et toilettes communes très propres et assez récents. Grand espace cuisine et salle à manger. Le logement est situé légèrement en retrait de la ville mais le centre est facilement accessible en voiture. Supermarché à proximité à pied. La cuisine n'était pas très propre (ce qui n'est guère la faute des propriétaires mais plutôt celle des autres usagers)
• Katrina (10/5): Fab stay - We had a fantastic stay at this hostel in Akureyri — it really exceeded expectations. The whole place was clean, modern, and had a great atmosphere. It felt safe and well-organised, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location was ideal for exploring Akureyri and the surrounding area. The social areas were a big highlight — a really nice vibe where you could relax after a busy day, and it never felt too crowded or chaotic. Everything was well thought out, from the facilities to the general layout. Breakfast was also a real bonus — plenty of choice and more than enough to set you up for the day. Overall, it was great value for money and we’d definitely stay here again. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and easy base in North Iceland.

• Margrèt Dögg (9/5): - Staðsetning frábær, þetta hostel er alltaf okkar fyrsta val þegar við eigum erindi til Akureyrar. Vitum ap hverju við göngum og það veldur aldrei vonbrigðum. Skilaboðum er svarað hratt og komið á móts við viðskiptavini .
• monobella (8/5): - Comfortable room, good kitchen facilities with a clear system for responsible waste management which I really appreciate, and several nice/newer dual shower and toilet rooms so never had to wait. Cleaners worked hard to keep shared areas clean. Great location and convenient with grocery stores a few minutes walk in either direction and a comfortable walk into town. Many guests did not clean up after themselves well or use the bins correctly, and several nights some guests were unreasonably noisy well beyond quiet time, being loud in corridors outside guest rooms as well as the common area (though this is a guest consideration issue, not a management issue as the rules and expectations for guest behaviour are made clear). I also tried contacting the property on two occasions regarding two different matters and never got a reply or acknowledgement, which felt uncomfortable.

Na piętrze łazienki były odnowione i wręcz w jakości iście hotelowych. Pokój też miał swój urok, telewizor działał. Blisko do bonusa i centrum miasta W kuchni było za dużo osób i nie wszystko było wysprzątane, poza tym wszystko w porządku
