• Kevin (9/5): Beautifully renovated property in a central location with fantastic views. - Excellent central location with good views over the town. Shared kitchen and lounge area may have been noisy if the other rooms had been occupied. Perhaps guests should be warned about the number of stairs to access the property, definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Minimal breakfast provided at a nearby bar.

• Susan (10/5): A beautiful property - I loved the size and beauty of the room. There is a little shared kitchen with extra tea, coffee and biscuits and a shared living room of gorgeous proportions. We had it all to ourselves as it is late season. Fabulous! The Wi-Fi in our bedroom kept dropping out but we found that it almost always worked in the kitchen and living room area. If you have mobility issues, there are several flights of stairs to get to the property so this might be an issue.
• David (10/5): Well appointed, comfortable apartment in a top location near the Cathedral with best Sassi views - Location was very good, and easy to access from parking which was booked close by. Walking Instructions from car parking to apartment were clear, and well illustrated and sent well in advance like the recommendations about restaurant options. Good simple breakfast nearby in well located cafe.

• Haley (10/5): Historical home, modern features, stunning views! - Elegant authenticity. Great mix of maintaining old classic architecture with refined modern features beautiful shared room. The upper Terrace was stunning! Best view of the entire city. Loved it!!!! But, must be nimble with stairs and stooping. Won’t be able to bring my Mom here. Would love to return.

• Lucy (10/5): Beautiful, convenient and clean! - Beautiful and convenient place to stay. The shared terrace provides a gorgeous sunset view as well. It’s located from a short 5 minute walk to the car park. Nothing - was perfect.

• Hilary (9/5): Beautiful apartment. The high life. - Fantastic location, stylish high spec interior, amazing views all round. The room is a bit like being in a filmset with beautiful vaulted stone ceiling. Comfortable big bed. Well equipped kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities. Breakfast was at a local cafe. It was basic, but fine if you are happy with a croissant, a cake and a coffee. Fresh orange juice is also available.

Some of the best views on Matera as you’re above the entire city. Nice to have the sunset and sunrise to yourself and away from the crowds. Location is excellent and easy to get anywhere. Best place for a 3 day stay in Matera. 1 to explore the city. 1 to explore and hike the cliffs/caves and one to relax in this incredible home :)
