• Elsa (9/5): - L'hôtel est bien situé, le jardin et la piscine (qui mériterait tout de même quelques rénovations) sont très agréables. Notre chambre était très grande et les lits parmi les plus confortables que nous ayons eus durant notre voyage au SL. Le personnel est adorable, surtout l'équipe du restaurant et du nettoyage des chambres. Nous avons aussi apprécié la disponibilité du patron, qui était de passage et qui nous a fait partager un chouette moment avec sa famille ;-) On reçoit tous les jours des nouvelles bouteilles d'eau dans la chambre, c'était plus qu'appréciable ! Le restaurant sur place est un plus, mais les prix sont excessifs pour le pays. Idem pour le service de blanchisserie, j'y ai fait appel pour laver des vêtements avant notre départ, ça a été la lessive la plus chère de mon voyage !

• Ana (9/5): Spacious Bungalows, Great Location, and Kind Staff - The staff were very courteous and welcoming, greeting us with a refreshing glass of fruit juice upon arrival, which was a lovely touch after traveling. Both the room and bathroom were very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially liked the individual bungalow-style rooms with private entrances, which provided extra privacy and a peaceful atmosphere. The location is excellent — very close to Sigiriya and Pidurangala, as well as conveniently located for visiting Minneriya, Kaudulla, and Hurulu National Parks, and even the ancient city of Polonnaruwa. This makes it a perfect base for exploring the area. A great choice for travelers looking for comfort, space, and easy access to major attractions

The most interesting thing was the friendly staff who was doing their best to help you with passion, enthusiasm and love the great team there specially Abdulrahman was a great guy and very knowledgeable and supportive the rest of team Sathsarani, Preveen and Tha Rusha were perfect and helpful

• Jolanda (6/5): Onze ervaring - Ligging en bereikbaarheid Grote kamer. Het hotel is ingericht voor grote groepen dat merk je ook gelijk. Dag 1 was er een grote groep dus ontbijt in overvloed dag 2 ware we de enige er was zoals ik voelde geen rekening gehouden met ons als gast iedereen was druk in de weer met een huwelijk feest en de daarbij behorende gasten.

Individual entry to the room (bungalows). Great location near the 2 summits (Sigiriya and Pidurangala), the parks (Minneriya, Kaudulla, Hurulu) and ancient city of Polonnaruwa. Breakfast buffet had huge Sri Lankan selection but Western selection was a bit poor.

• Melanie (8/5): - Wir hatten einen entspannten Aufenthalt hier. Die Lage ist perfekt zwischen Sigiriya und Dambulla. Wir haben sowohl Tuk-Tuk als auch den Bus genutzt, der gleich um die Ecke losfährt. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sauber und waren sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Bad ist wie überall in Sri Lanka nie perfekt sauber. Das Frühstück war absolut in Ordnung und das Personal sehr freundlich. Für uns war das Highlight der Pool, in dem wir uns nach unseren Ausflügen erholen konnten. Wir empfehlen das Hotel weiter.

Bella piscina e giardino tropicale molto curato. La cosa migliore però è lo staff dal proprietario agli inserivienti il servizio è da grand hotel. Bene anche la cena buffet con musica da vivo nel weekend. Consigliato Forse i bagni devono ancora essere rinnovati ma comunque accettabili. Il giardino davvero bello comporta la visita di qualche insetto e le porte potrebbero essere isolate meglio

Incluso cuando cenabamos/almorzabamos se quedaban todo el rato a 1 metro de nosotros observandonos.

Petit déjeuner type buffet a volonté et donc copieux. Personnel aux petits soins. Pleins de singes dans la propriété ! Nous avons tout apprécié

• Lianne80 (9/5): Vriendelijkheid op en top, de naam van het hotel spreekt boekdelen - Het zwembad en de prachtige tuin bevielen het meeste. Het personeel is echt heel aardig en behulpzaam. De airco werkte niet goed, daarom kregen we een gratis upgrade naar een andere, grotere kamer. De manager was heel erg begaan, was erg aardig voor zijn personeel en maakt graag een praatje. De receptie regelde graag zaken voor je. Ze gaven goed advies over de bezienswaardigheden en spraken goed Engels. Wasservice was erg snel. Het ontbijt was een ruimgesorteerd buffet. Het interieur van het hotel maakt een wat gedateerde indruk.

• Heike (10/5): A beautiful lush garden, large pool and exceptional staff. - A truly beautiful lush, well-kept garden with a large inviting pool. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, always attentive and incredibly friendly. We were able to book two fantastic excursions with the hotel’s own jeep at a much better rate than outside providers. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and on our last evening we were treated to an exceptional dinner.
• Annick (8/5): - We werden warm ontvangen en voelden ons erg welkom. Het personeel was echt ontzettend lief en waren bereid om het ons zo goed mogelijk naar de zin te maken. Het hotel ligt in een mooie omgeving en de kinderen hebben zich elke dag goed vermaakt in het zwembad. Jeep safari naar het Minneriya National park kon vanuit het hotel geregeld worden. De hotelkamer is ruim, maar wel vrij basic.
• Kelly (10/5): Hier vier je echt vakantie! - Wij werden warm verwelkomd met een verfrissend drankje nadat wij de tuktuk op de ruime parkeerplaats hadden geparkeerd waar een vriendelijke parkeerwachter toezicht houdt. Onze kamer (kamer 205) was groot met een ruim balkon waar we heerlijk konden zitten. De kamer had airco, erg goede wifi, een goed bed en de allerbeste douche ooit. Nog beter dan thuis 🚿 Verschillende massage standen en een flink krachtige straal. Elke dag kregen we twee flesjes water en mini’s douchegel + shampoo. Wij verbleven hier 4 nachten en alle dagen werden we door al het personeel uiterst vriendelijk behandeld met een oprechte lach op ieders gezicht. Bij aankomst kwam terloops ter spraken dat mijn man hoppers lekker vindt. Op de laatste avond had de manager een tafeltje aan het zwembad voor ons gereserveerd en speciaal hoppers geregeld als verrassing. Dit kwam hij wel netjes in de middag aangeven zodat wij nog konden aangeven of we dat wilden en het ons eigen avond plan niet in de weg zou staan. Onze dagen hier hebben wij ook elke dag genoten van het heerlijk groot, schoon en verfrissend zwembad in een prachtig groene tuin met genoeg ligbedjes en handdoeken. Wij raden dit verblijf absoluut aan. Enige puntje van verbetering voor ons. De geur bij aankomst in de kamer. Er hing een sterke geur waar je hoofdpijn van zou kunnen krijgen. Na onderzoek door de kamer kwamen wij erachter dat er in de kast mottenballen lagen die voor de geur zorgden. We hebben de mottenballen verwijderd wat de oplossing was en het genieten kon beginnen!

• Kimberley (10/5): Fijn hotel op rustige locatie - We hebben dit hotel geboekt, nadat we een accommodatie hadden die niet aan onze verwachtingen voldeed. We waren maar wat blij met het heerlijke zwembad en de kamer was meer dan prima. Personeel was super lief en we hebben heel lekker gegeten in het restaurant!

• Kevin (3/5): - Lieve bewaker aan de poort van het hotel. We waren laat met het ontbijt vanwege activiteiten maar waren wel welkom Op de foto’s leek de accommodatie heel goed. Wij kwamen aan in de kamer en heel het plafond zat onder de schimmel. Deze geur hing door de hele kamer. Wij hebben twee andere kamers mogen zien en uiteindelijk de meest schone gekozen. Ook deze was naar onze mening niet echt schoon en rook naar schimmel. Geen vier sterren waard.

• Mélusine (7/5): Great stay with some drawbacks - We had a lovely stay at this hotel! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and they even decorated our bed beautifully for our honeymoon, which was a thoughtful touch. The room was comfortable, and overall, we enjoyed our time here. There were some renovation works going on, so it wasn’t always the most relaxing around the pool. Also, the pool area doesn’t get much sun later in the day, so it’s best to go earlier to enjoy it fully.

• Janos (10/5): very convenient starting point for exploring Sri Lanka's historic sites - This friendly hotel with delicious restaurant was our first accomodation after our arrival to Sri Lanka. It was very convenient to take from here one-day-tours to the old ancient capitals Anuradhapura and Pollonaruwa, to Sigiriya fortress, to Dambulla Cave Temple and to the Minneriya National Park. We received a refurbished room with a great shower on the first floor with direct access to the beautiful eden garden.

• Roxana (8/5): - The staff was very nice and try to make our stay as pleasant as possible Even though it has "4 stars" on booking, the room and the bathroom were not exactly what we expected, comparing to the pics we saw on the Booking platfom.. We also had 2 small lizards in our room and during our first night there were some loud noises (similar to explosions) and had no idea what happened - we found out the next day that the people were trying to scare the elephants

• TORU (9/5): 又来たいな、ゆっくりと滞在するだけでもいいな - 部屋が広くてきれい。水回りもしっかりしておりシャワーシステムが良かった。庭園の中にホテルがあるような雰囲気が素敵でした。バス停が近いことがわかり移動を経済することができました。スタッフの人も優しく質問にもよく答えてくれました。水着を持って行かなかったので入りませんでしたがプールに入りたかった。 近くにきちんとしたレストランがないのでホテルで摂ろうと思いましたが夕食のビュッフェが10000ルビーと安くはなく何より品数も少ない感じがしました。アラカルトメニューがあると良かったです。周りにお店がないので少し不便でした。

• Zeynep (9/5): Erken Check-in imkanı çok iyi - Sabah 8 de otele ulaştık, hiç bekletmeden odamızı verdiler. Lokasyonu Sigiriya ve Dambulla ya ulaşım için çok iyi. Oda büyüktü. Çalışanlar çok nazik ve yardımseverdi. Fiyat/fayda dengesi çok iyiydi. Yatak daha konforlu olabilirdi

When i came only they new that i was coming. Goodthing, there was a family room.that day. Otherwise it could be a big issue.bcoz i came around 9 PM to hotel

• Mithuna (9/5): - We booked and arrived quite late at midnight, but the staff were very kindly at the reception. The rooms look better than on the pictures. It is quite spacious and very clean, especially the bathroom. -
• Zoltán (8/5): A nice place with a beautiful swimmingpool. - The food and the swimmingpool was excellent. We rented 3 rooms, but had to move from 2 to other rooms: sawage smell in one of the rooms, and airco problems in the second one. The third room was OK, but separated into 2 parts, and since there was airco only in the sleeping room, the living room was like a sauna.
