• Emma (10/5): Recommended hotel in the heart of Ioannina - We were greeted at reception by the very helpful Angela who took us personally to their free secure underground parking next door. We had a very comfortable spacious room and substantial breakfast. We loved the warmth of this family owned hotel in the heart of beautiful Ioannina.

• Luciana (10/5): Overall good experience - Our room had no balcony, even though in the pictures it seems this room category should have had a balcony. However, it didn’t bother us too much, since we only booked for two nights. The room was clean, well kept and bathroom recently refurbished. The personnel was very nice and promptly helped us with all of our queries. If we will ever travel again to Ioannina we will definitely re-book again at this hotel.

• GRDE (4/5): Not the best stay but at least there was parking - The first room we were allocated had a bad cigarette smell. It had a balcony but the windows and doors were locked shut as it was right at street level. We asked to change rooms - initially the host was rude saying no other rooms were available - when we said we would leave they offered another room. Toilet was was not functioning properly and the sofa bed (my son slept in) was uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok - not great. At check-out we were faced by the same rude guy. Not even a “goodbye” or a “thank you”. Only plus for me was the underground parking.

• Alexandra (6/5): Strange breakfast, bad attitude from the owner - We stayed in this hotel at the end of August 2021. Centrally located hotel which is clean and nice. Not a breakfast buffet, but you sit down and an elderly lady, probably the owner's wife, comes in with some pieces of bread and some other strange stuff. She was very nice even though the breakfast was strange. On the other hand, one of the staff, an elderly man, the owner we believe, was really awkward and rude though. He probably has never smiled in his life and the words "please" and "thank you" don't exist in his vocabulary. But then again, the front desk girl that looks like Audrey Hepburn was extremely nice and service-minded. She herself contributes largely to the not so bad rating that we give the hotel. If the owner would be as service-minded as her, we'd give this hotel top rating. But because of the owner's behavior, we will not return to the hotel.

The decoration is also very nice, reminds me traditional houses in zagorochoria. The staff was extremely friendly and I couldn’t praise more the location and the parking!!! We will return!

Only negative is the not so comfortable squeeky bed. We stayed at the top floor and our room was large although no balcony/window other than the top. Didn't bother us at all.

The room was cold and the ac was smelling like cigarette smoke.The bathroom had only shampoo and soap,no shower gel at all!The worst thing is that they left towels and linen on the stairways while cleaning the rooms which is unexceptable! While checkout we had to ask for a receive because the didn't gave us one!A terrible experience! Would not recommend it even it is central!You have plenty of better options for that price!Stay away!
• L (2/5): - While the hotel was nice, when we checked out of the room, we were told we need to pay the price, even though we had already paid via credit card on the Expedia site, right when we booked the room. Then the hotel owner started yelling at us, and saying he wants to be paid, and that he has no affiliations with trivago or Expedia, even though his hotel is advertised there. He was rude, insulting, and treated us like we were trying to scam him. He would not accept any form of proof of payment, neither from the Expedia site and emails I received, nor from my credit card provider who had records of the transaction. He kept yelling this is not his bank account, and ultimately we were threatened to pay in cash for a second time. Horrible experience.

• backpacker31 (8/5): Centrally Located Small Hotel - Stayed here several nights. Location is excellent - on a pedestrian-only lane just off the main road. Virtually everything (tourist worthy) in Ioannina is within walking distance. Part of the hotel is housed in a charming, renovated building while the other part is newer construction. I stayed in the newer building. My room was small but functional with modern decor and a comfortable bed. My view was a relatively quiet rear courtyard. My only complaint was the lack of a chair in my room. Staff was friendly and professional. Overall very good value.

As we weren't at the room to check out at 12:00 as we were at the hospital and arrived at the hotel at 12:30, we found our luggages at the reception area without being informed.

• 388majlindam (10/5): Understated with so much to offer - Excellent value for money, The hotel was spotless clean, quiet, full of character. Our big rooms in the attic were comfortable with all the mod and cons and the dark wood reallt made it look cosy and welcoming. The breakfast was fit for a king combining a continental breakfast with some lovely specialities. The wonderful cook/waitress Moza had a most beautiful smile, with a passion and respect for work and the guests. The hotel was bang in the middle of the old quirky part of the town with easy access to the castle, the lake, the lovely traditional restaurants and cafeterias. For the ones fond of buying handicrafts the hotel was the place to be as from there one could easily go around the narrow streets and alleyways. The proprietor of this family-run hotel was a man of a few words but he let his beautiful hotel do the talking and as far as me and my family we will certainly come back...my dear you should keep the head high and WELL-DONE

The room was very clean and comfortable. The best of all was the breakfast. It was traditional breakfast from Ioannina and Epirous region and you really need to try everything offered! I definitely recommend this hotel!

Не рекомендую останавливаться в этом номере вчетвером. Нам было некомфортно. Я уверен, что площадь 2 комнат была около 25 кв. метров, не больше. Завтрак был обильным, но не вкусным, лучше завтракать в другом месте. Интернет работал хорошо. Парковочное место предоставляется бесплатно в соседнем паркинге в 50 метрах от отеля.
• foteini90 (2/5): Even an one star is too much! - I booked my stay in this hotel for a business trip from 18-20 June 2018 via a big on line platform in order to be sure that everything will be alright.The morning of my check in I got a message from them that there was a problem with my credit card but 10 minutes later the money for my stay were taken.I contacted my bank and told me that everything was all right and that the hotel was able to take the money.Half an hour later the platform that I made the reservation informed me that the hotel had canceled my reservation!!!I called them and they person at the reservation desk told me that he wasn't the one responsible.They didn't change the status of my reservation in the platform but instead they just messaged me that my reservation was still valid.I'm on my way to Ioannina now and I don't know if I'll have a room or not.If you book there do it on your own risk...
• Verified traveler (2/5): - Located in the central part of the city and easy walk to the castle. The only good thing ended there. While we were visiting, the whole town was out of water for entire day into the next day. The staff failed to mention this prior to our visit - since it was a town-wide water shortage, they would've known about this ahead of time - and did not provide any update during our visit so we had no idea when the water would be available. They didn't provide any water bottles for us to use or drink. We absolutely hated our stay due to their lack of communication and attentiveness. Would not recommend staying here.

• Macs (10/5): Great Location near the Castle and Lake - Friendly concierge welcomed us and despite our minimal Greek and his limited English we managed to organise parking and our room. Underground hotel parking was very secure. Room was very comfortable. Beds and pillows were firm. The breakfast was an amazing array of Greek specialties served at your table by the friendly staff. Breakfast was included in the room rate. The location was great if you would like to explore the lake and the old castle (fortress) Would certainly recommend this as a very pleasant hotel.

• T8859DYmariap (10/5): Excellent location and amazing breakfast - We visited Ioannina and stayed in the hotel for 2 nights with my husband and 2 children aged 4 and 5, as well as my parents and my 2 year old niece. The rooms were cleaned and the bathrooms looked brand new. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is situated on a quiet pedestrianised street and has car parking spaces in a close by car park. It is very easy to walk to a plethora of lovely food places and tourist shops and a 10 to 15 stroll to the Lake of Ioannina. The breakfast is amazing! It is served at your table and is double the amount any normal person can consume in one go! It included toasted sandwiches, bread with jams, traditional pittas (pies), cakes and loukoumades with honey. If I had to pick one thing that may cause a problem is that the attached tavern was very busy all night and you could hear the noise in our bathroom, though not in our room or my parents' room further up. I am not sure if that would be a problem in other rooms. Finding the hotel was easy enough though Google got a bit confused with the pedestrianised streets. You are allowed to drive down them for access. All in all I would recommend this hotel and we really enjoyed our stay there.

The street is a pedestrian street but allows the cars of the tenants to reach the Hotel . The hotel offers a free closed parking a few meters from the entrance . Off load your luggage before you go to the parking . The receptionist “hardly talks” . He did not tell us to off load our luggage so we had to carry it from the parking to our room . The hotel does not provide assistance . Do not stay in room 2c in 4th floor . There is an “fan “that starts at 07.30. Breakfast is served not a buffet . The breakfast room is very small .
• Verified traveler (10/5): Outside of castle walls but still convenient - I spent two nights in Ioannina total, 1 night outside the castle walls at Kentrikon, and one night inside. Outside the walls there is more hubbub and nightlife, but everywhere I wanted to go was within a 15 minute walk, regardless of where I stayed. The Archaeological museum is a couple blocks from Kentrikon and there are stores upon stores for shopping. Lots of cafes, too.
• Riki Lindsay (8/5): Unwelcome stay in a beautiful hotel - Firstly, this hotel is in a beautiful old ottoman house and the room we got was very big and nicely decorated. However, when we arrived we were made to feel as though we shouldn't have been their and felt very unwelcome. None of the staff members smiled at all throughout the duration of the stay. Overall I found it to be a real shame as the place was beautiful and the location was awesome but the staff really let the place down big time.
• 901savvass (10/5): Stayed twice in October 2017 - A very well run friendly hotel in the heart of Ioannina. Private parking is very nice and once you park your car you can walk to nearby restaurants and shops. The rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. The owner Mr George is one of the nicest, relaxed and most accommodating gentleman. I stayed there with my family, rented two rooms on two different nights and would love to go back. Thank you Kentrikon for the accommodations at a very competitive price.
• AndreaB1188 (8/5): good location and excellent breakfast - Good location. The hotel is easily accessible from the bus station and is within walking distance of the walls and the lake. Within ten minutes of walking, there is an office with tourist information - during my visit, however, their opening hours ended at 14 o'clock. The room was spacious, had a hall, a bathroom and a bedroom. Enough storage space. I had a room in the attic and wifi worked well there too. The breakfast served was excellent and really great (as elsewhere in Greece it is to be expected that breakfast will start at nine o'clock). Unfortunately, the reception staff was not very helpful with questions about bus connections or asking where to buy a site map, but that was the only minus. Good ratio of quality and price of accommodation. Quiet again. (and selling excellent ice cream at the end of the street.)

• emilio (4/5): Very unprofessional & rude manager/receptionist. - Very rude front desk manager/receptionist. Upon my arrival I was informed that my room was given to another guest cause I arrived late. As a result I had to share a room with other customers. The next day the manager was insisting to pay the whole amount because he had to cover expedia's commission. He also refused to take credit card so the bank doesn't charge him commission fees. When a passing customer said "good morning" he replied back saying "what's so good in this morning"!
